Sony will talk PS5 slim and show us something new by their in-house remastering studio, a.k.a Naughty Dog. Maybe Uncharted 4 remaster remake. I mean definitely something from their portfolio no one is asking for. Still gloriously looking Uncharted 4 seems like a choice in line with their last of them recent releases.

@rjejr dude, it will obviously be the new 4D tv sets. 3D but with time as the 4th dimension, y'know, like images changing through time. I wish someone invented that by now.

On a serious note: I tried to like From games, but I only end up really disliking them so I learned after the original Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodbourne and Sekiro to finally stop buying them. It's a bummer, man.

Dudes, I had a mild interest until I heard the game is made by those nihilists, From Soft, at which point my interest went downhill so fast it broke terminal velocity.

@NinjaNicky I did the same for Ghost as I always look for "original" language options, but hear me out, then I also played Ghost with English voice acting... and I was blown away. They did it so well... you'd almost forget they were speaking English.

This game is a golfer. Perfect puzzles, great game mechanics and even a nice story. I have not played a puzzler from zero to hero in a long time as I get somewhat bored, but this one is superbly done. Also, doesn't overstay its welcome. 10/10

I'm not buying it, dudes. Not the game, the interest in it. A more plausible explanation is that the publisher has a deal with the PS store.

I'm talking about, y'know, the non-bowlers and non-golfers out there, the dudes and dudetes that happily picked up wii sports. We need a wii moment for VR... the tech needs more time dude, no way around it.

well, dudes, color me unimpressed, but I can't get excited about another camera sitting behind the left/right shoulder of the protagonist.. we played 50 games that all look and control essentially the same in the last seven years on this platform.
PSVR is really where innovation is at, shame we will have to wait for the next three hardware generations to pass in order for VR to become what it needs to be so not to be a drag to start and be playing.

Also, keep in mind that as you age you better hope companies are investing into specialised afordable controllers. A lot of gamers are going to enter the "senior citizen" bracket with the next gen of consoles and guess what a lot of them will need. Yup. Accessibility controller.

On another note: thank you Microsoft for paving the way years ago, for shining a bright light at the issue and having others follow.

Please, people with special needs require custom controllers and to have them at a price point similar to regular controller is very much welcome as is any battery life as accessible custom game controllers are usually only wired.
Please restraint yourself, try to not post thoughtless LoL comments.

@Nyne11Tyme only US and I think Japan got the ps3 that had hardware BC. The EU BC version had a software emulator.

@StrawberryTurtle no, dude, what saved sony was phenomenal buid quality and bluray drive. Xb360 were getting bricked left right and centre and replacing them in EU wasn't as easy as in US back in the day. Also, a lot of people were buying ps3 as a cheaper bluray player with added game console features. You wouldn't believe it but back then semi good bluray players were 800 to 1000 eur if memory serves well.
Of course, late years of that gen served PS3 well because the machine could do more than xb360.
Early days tho... not a single third party game worked better on ps3 than on xb360.

Yo dudes, if you're a huge fan of rick&morty and other creations by justin and the team, this will be right up your alley. I am and I played it via GP and finished it.
The game was already on GP, sold on PC and any money on PS they get will be an extra, there's no flopping here.
Would I have bought the game had it not been on GP? As a huge fan, yes, I absolutely would. Would I have bought it day1 at full price? Nope. But at 50% off? yeah man, the dude abides.

@guacguacboo I get it, I need those games as well, but for me Stray's "chill" was overshadowed by its "annoyingly dull" for subjectively long stretches.
I recently played "Far: Changing Tides" and that one scratched that, to lesser extent Journey and to larger extent Limbo/Inside itch while having interesting gameplay mechanics.

I think I bought only one PS5 game so far: Ratchet & Clank, and that was a pre-order. I was either day1 or pre-order during PS4 days. So, yeah, plus extra is extra. My backlog is not getting smaller, too many good games to play. Even if I stopped subbing to gamepass and ps+, I would still have years worth of good games to play through and I guess it's the same for most of the dudes&dudettes that started amassing way too many games for the available time they have.
That is to say: after the pandemic bump, all subscription based entertainment properties will see a slump. Look at how Netflix became paranoid. People are back at living and all of these companies are fighting over ever shorter free time people have.

@djlard yeah, man, Infamous for Miles parts and Prototype for Peter+Symbiote parts. With less gameplay and more button prompts for well hidden QTEs. Hahaha, can't satisfy gamers these days with anything. LoL

Man, this Prototype 3 gameplay is a bit timid compared to Prototype 2. Nevertheless, it still is far out. Can't wait.

And that's cool, that's cool.... but it sounds to me they decided to address a game design issue and package it as an accessibility.
I am not saying that this option will not be welcomed by thalassophobia sufferers, just need to ask the devs: what about other phobias dudes? Fear of heights? Fear of plant life?
It could be my ignorance speaking, man, but as someone already said before, there's a potential of confronting irrational fears in a uniquely safe environments that are video games.
Now, if this was a 1st person game, or a 1st person game in VR... then, ok, I would've absolutely agreed, that deal is real for your subconscious brain, and it is impossible to avoid being on the edge of losing your mind... so there, such options should be a must for any dev, but here, you are literally controlling an avatar which is clearly not you, c'mon dudes & dudettes, get a grip.

@Nyne11Tyme these devs are all top tier devs but , how I see it, they are, pretty much, all making one and the same game type of a game. Narratives are ok and somewhat engaging but in terms of what you do and how you interact with the game... it's been stale waters for that gang.

I really don't understand ng+ for games that have linear story with one beginning and one end. I platinumed 2018 GoW. I loved it to bits. And I never played it again. I'll play the new one when it lands on Sony's subscription service.

@Perturbator for a rocksteady game, it's downright scandalous and revolting. Gameplay looks so, I don't know, generic. It's almost as if I'm looking at Fortnite with a rocksteady dlc.

It was ok, except that Suicide Squad gameplay. Looked boring as hell. And that Harley Spidey Quinn... oh brother... this will be the first rocksteady game I'll be skipping.

@nhSnork heh, nice, but for what? Look dude, I'm an odd apple, my most beloved console since 2012 onwards has been WiiU. I love it more than the two ps4 and a ps4pro, a ps5 i have, more than the xb1x and two xbsx, and definitely more than two switch abominations... and still ... of all of them... xb1x and onwards controller (even taking just the ordinary ones and not counting elite2) are just heavenly. Warts (lousy face buttons) and all (toysRus feel to triggers and shoulder buttons) I still prefer them to all others... Elite 2 is just sublime tho but not fair to compare that one to others.

Controllers are subjective and subjectively a large number of people (grown up ones, not the kids) have nothing good to say about switch as a controller. So yeah, please, xb controller is like seventeen generations ahead in terms of ergonomics and, unlike switch, not trying to send you straight to an orthopaedic clinic.

They of course have the math do support their claims, but the claims are false. There is simply no way PlayStation with those prices and impossible to find in mainland Europe and xbox series ( especially series s prices) being available resulted in 80:20... you have to be living on Mars, or be a sony pony, to believe this. But MS got the math to get to such results. Good for them. I hope they don't get to do this merger. Sony knows it's going to harm them long term and harm them real bad. And they are right to fear it and fight it with all the tools at their disposal.

MS is lying through their teeth. There is no chance of these percentages being accurate. Xbox has been selling superbly well in europe throughout this ps5 draught. They are just slanting numbers to apear as David when they are in fact Goliath in this story. They could end Sony in one sneeze should they wish to. MS is the 1000 pound gorilla here, let's not kid ourselves.

I didn't get a chance to give them any notes on the story and characters - the gameplay sucked in the demo and that was it for that game and my time. Too many games available to play, too little time.

@Darude84 we are talking about the same Sony, right? The one that already put their exclusive on a subscription service and then pulled it? I would not be sure about Sony's exclusives persisting on psXtra... they don't have a clear statement about the subscription destiny of their exclusives like XBOX has.

Meh, I have zero interest in this. Story wise the first game did it for me. Didn't need no DLCs, no sequels, and no film/tv adaptation. It was perfect, open ended, free in its beginnings, you could let your imagination fly.
You all enjoy yourselves I was out when the credits roled on the first one (well, actually replayed it three times LOL).

Let me see:

• buy this thing, with just two back buttons and replacable sticks option (that I never needed) and with inferior battery life for €240
  or
  get my second Elite with four back paddles, 10x the battery life for €136 (in 5 installments on amazon)
  Yeah, Sony, you can go Facebook yourself.
  They pretty much are selling a dual sense with a back button attachment (ok, ok, they made the sticks replaceable). Nope. Nothing there for me and I am annoyed by all the "cool" new features of the regular dual sense, they are so tiring and annoying in almost all games except in Returnal and AstroWhatsTheGameNameThing.

@roe you said it, man. It would look like the announcement trailer/fake gameplay. Mechanically, it would just need to be the same and would still be 100 times more fun than any of the "arcade" racers that came out in the last five years.
