PlayStation Access did a stream of it a while ago and it seems alright but a bit underwhelming for how long it's taken.
I'll wait for reviews on this one.

I don't use the party system much but appreciate that it's had a negative impact on people.

I just want to be able to easily create a group of people from the details of a game where it says how many friends own it too so we can chat about that game and potentially group up later. That should be one button press.

I managed to get the Greymoor expansion for ESO on sale recently and it will be my last Bethesda game since MS doesn't get my money. For once it would have been better if EA had bought something out.

"PlayStation 4 apps, themes, and avatars will also no longer be available through the web and mobile storefronts once the changes roll out"... Hooray! These are massive clutter on mobile.

Not a huge loss for me since I only played a few of their games, although ES6 would have been great. MS doesn't get my money so I'm done with ESO as well. ¯(ツ)/¯

I'd love to see Sony notice the recent shmup resurgence and make a deal with M2 for one of the ShotTriggers releases.
Something else that I think would make sense is also adding a game to plus just before it becomes a Greatest Hit release. Really, we should have all of these from plus by now. It's pretty strange that we haven't had games like Killzone Shadowfall from launch...

No surprise here. I still figure the asset swap and CPU spoof patents are for PlayStation Now.

All PS5 base will belong to us.

I was expecting it yesterday due to the 25th anniversary date outside Japan. I suspect they are trying to get approval for a bit of a loss and/or trying to get costs down. I see the boost in production as a way to negotiate a lower price per unit from parts suppliers.

I see Sony's answer to the Series S as whichever PS4 models survive and get price cut when PS5 arrives since a lot of big third party games will be on it as well (cross-gen).

It's mind boggling how bad the PS store is and it needs a complete redesign. Almost every feature is a decade behind modern e-commerce. Try it on mobile for an even worse experience that will amaze you with its technical brokenness and lack of features.

Just wait until Ultimate Edition goes on sale. There are many many games to buy and play until then.

I can't see how anyone was greatly surprised by the Spider-Man deal. Sony does have a lot of leverage it seems, based on how well the PS4 did.

I wonder if publishers are seeing an advantage here to still sell well on both platforms vs. putting their games on game pass and having PS4/5 owners then wait for a deep discount or not buy that title in order not to subsidize game pass. I've passed on buying a couple of (minor) games already because they are on game pass but not PSNow.

Demon's Tilt looks somewhat interesting but the publisher is giving it away on xbox gamepass so I'm not interested in subsidizing that.

We had some of these in Canada for demos of PSVR.

I think Sony would keep the pro if they discontinue anything. Definitely a price drop needed on both PS4 models at least. I'm waiting for MS to call Lockhart XSeries S so that all that "optimized for XSX" stuff doesn't apply to it and it's basically X1.5

Looks like MS is starting to figure out that people aren't buying their strategy of making a bunch of X1 games cross gen instead of actually making next gen games.

It's a disservice not to call out that these aren't the arcade versions when every other museum release has been. These are the NES versions. Huge mistake for Namco.

I'm glad Sony owns The Order though.
It would be great if a sequel did happen.

E3 would have been this month so the timing is still fine if Sony talks soon.
I suspect they needed to make sure the supply chain is running ok before any hardware announcement.
Re: lacklustre software... MS have already stated they have no next-gen only games for the next year or two. Everything from them will be cross-gen.
Cerny's talk was a developer presentation and certainly did not disappoint me.

So just stop releasing games in the uk then.

I liked Dirt and am looking forward to trying out Dirt 2. Have already played U4. Great game. Sony should be adding all the Greatest Hits games, ideally just before they become a GH to reward subscribers first.
