@Skywalker1080p I've ordered both the collector's edition and launch edition on Amazon because they don't take money until release day. What about Game Collection? I never pre-ordered anything from them probably I should as they are the cheapest in UK I guess

@WanderingBullet yeah it seems if you order from Bandai Namco store you'll get a steelbook. However on Amazon UK there's no steelbook with Launch edition. Maybe it's a store exclusive? I'm a bit confused

@WanderingBullet no sorry it seems the European version doesn't contain steelbook unfortunately. My bad sorry for misleading information.

No we have already too many. I really don't want see the ps5 generation is nothing more than superhero games. Enough is enough. Though i'm afraid we will get one or two in every single year

They didn't want to release 4 different collector's editions ( Regalla for PS4 and PS5 and Collector's ed. for PS4 and PS5) instead they release one each with a code for BOTH platform! (Digital code : Full game for PS4™ and PS5™ included).
That's a shame but not a criminal offence against gamers although i always buy physical
Also Regalla Edition sold out in an hour yesterday an Collector's Ed is best selling on vendor site.

Totally agree. I haven't played it through yet waiting for a 4k 60fps version . I don't think it will happen in my lifetime though...

oh no. Just pre-ordered the physical copy on PS5 and it comes in a "later date"...why? I thought they release both edition at the same time. So i need to buy the game twice if i want to play it on release date:(

Physical games will always have its audience especially older gamers like me, those who likes to own their games not streaming them. Also there is the resell value which is simply just doesn't exist on digital games. Collecting games if you can afford is also an important factor. I rarely buy digital games, it's just not worth it for me. My friends are the same, they all have nice collection too. So i think/hope they won't disappear in the near future

@Olmaz for me yes it is. it's a very underrated game though the prologue was a bit too old-fashioned and janky that's true. You just need to get through the prologue and then the game become fantastic, the story opens up. I think the visuals will be amazing in 4k . If you like single player story driven rpg then do not hesitate give it a go.

yes i'm going to pay for the upgraded physical Gold edition as it comes with a new story dlc alongside. I'm happy to play it through once more with improved visuals. Does anyone know when the physical copy of this come out as i've already pre-ordered it?

@MetalGear_Yoshi i don't know man...i really enjoyed this game and I'm glad it has a PS5 upgrade alongside with a big expansion.
For me it's one of an underrated gems out there. But we're different

hey guys is the game enjoyable in solo as i intend to play it on my own? I'm so interested in this one but i fear it's too hard or difficult to play solo as it was designed for co-op?

@2cents yes it seems a bit short. I haven't played yet but the "most people completed within 8-10 hours" means at least 20 hours for me. I like just wondering around not rushing anything. I'll jump on to this tomorrow and will see. But yeah i would prefer a longer campaign too

@Uromastryx wow...! Well I would say it's a good news but that means I need to change my approach to the game. Probably i need to complete the main storyline first then do the events and mysteries and other bits

I'm really enjoying the game so far just sometimes i feel it's too big and i just want to finish before Resident evil village come out which seems hopeless. I put exatly 100 hours into it and i am still at about to fight with Ivvar. Please tell me I am halfway through at least:)

@PaperAlien please tell me those anomalies are not required to complete the game! I skipped them every time I saw one..they are just dragging me out of the story i hate them

@GamingVeteran totally agree. Especially because you (still) have the chance to buy a physical copy of the game, play it, and if you don't like it just sell it. Probably you're going to lose 5-10 pounds/dollars but that's it. It's not that hard.

I won't judge and I'm not on any side but I understand where is this guy coming from. I read too many comments in the past like "ohh this game looks promising or/and amazing I'll definitely buy on a sale" So that's how a lot of people start with. Gaming is not a cheap hobby as it was mentioned above. Never been and never will be. Thought i understand many people just can't afford to buy full price games and that's fine for me but there are two sides of the coin. I think if you can afford it and you're interested in a game, the best way to show your support is buying a game around launch.
Personally i don't bother too much of buggy starts because they are usually being fixed after lunch with some patches ( not like Cyberpunk but that's a different story) So keep peace guys and try to understand both sides.

I bought The collector's edition an the special edition on lunch so i did my part. Will do the same in future

@The_New_Butler that's true but I think we need to wait a bit to have true next gen games. These games had been in development for years and both for last and next gen consoles. The true next gen experience comes later i think. Companies are developing new graphical engines designed for next gen consoles. For example Unreal Engine 5 ( which is designed for PS5) will be available this year for the studios and so on. So i would say we need to wait 2-3 years to have the full experience.
That's how i see the things but I understand what you are saying.

4k 45fps with raytracing is my choice and perfect for me. People are acting like kids in the toyshop..you can't expect to choose from 6 different options. We should appreciate we CAN choose at all not like last gen mostly. I know people are moaning for everything these days but come on...we have 2 amazing options on PS5

This looks sad to me. Not the Nintendo titles that's fine they have a special audience which is not me but that's absolutely ok.
What makes me said is the hegemony of multiplayer titles like Fifa and COD. I will never understand why people keep buying these

One of my all time favorite in last generation. Also Days Gone was my first platinum on PS4 I really like it.

@Exlee300p yeah that was very strange. Little nightmares 2 was absolutely amazing i didn't understand that as well. I played through the first one right after i finished the second so i could compare them. The Little Nigthmares 2 was better and longer. For me at least. I haven't play Oddworld but i'll definately give it a go. And I encourage everyone just don't listen to the reviews try it yourself otherwise you may miss some very good game

@AFCC why LOL?! The game is running 4K with raytracing and looks absolutely amazing . Honestly i haven't even noticed it is running at 30fps .. If they could update it with a 4k raytracing 60fps version that would be even better of course.

@Voltan Thanks ok i see. I'm not too far in the game with the main quest line just wondering around and doing raids and collecting wealth. probably that's why i haven't experienced anything. Will see then hope they fix those problems soon. Take care everyone and enjoy your gaming!

I was so skeptical with this game because of reading articles and comments in the past few months. Then i decided to jump into it and have a look what is the game like. Now my counter is around 70 hours and honestly this is an amazing game i was fool to skip it for a long time. Playing on on PS5 and i haven't experienced a single crash at all. There are some small glitches but they are rather funny than annoying.

That's sad. I always be a fan of physical editions . You can collect them, resell them after completing then buy again when price drops down. Or if you don't like the game you can just sell it so you don't lose money on games you never play. Also i like to own the games and have different editions of games i like. Companies like Sony obviously want to push people towards digital as there are no second hand market on digital games.
Hope we'll keep getting physicals in the future

Also Remnant From the Ashes can be played in solo mode not just co-op if I'm right which is why i wanted to play it

Fantastic! Probably it's time for me to play FFVII. I've never played any Final Fantasy games so far i wasn't interested. I know it's weird but i'll give it a go now. Remnant From The Ashes is the game i thought i was going to buy this week , now i don't need to.

6/10 but 3 of them was just guessing. Wasn't easy at all:)

I love collecting games and i have a massive collection of all kind of edition. Packaging doesn't matter can be cardboard or any other eco-friendly stuff just please don't get rid of physical editions entirely because a lot of people like to own the games not just downloading them from a server.

It seems i need to replay this one as well(sigh). Control, God of War, Nioh are all look amazing on PS5. Busy weeks coming for me...

@velio84 I played through all the Dark Souls games and Demon Souls few times. Nioh obviosly has a completely different settings If you like Japanese history and mythology you will enjoy that. About the gameplay i think these games are just as hard as the dark souls game or sometimes even harder. definitely way harder than Demon's Souls. Combat is different and more complex so you need to learn and use different stances with different weapons, weapon techniques, stamina (KI) managment..very cool and enjoyable. You get similar epic boss fights, same frustrations and same joy and happiness if you're succeeded.. Amazing games just give it a go you won't regret it!

It's an amazing game i really really enjoyed playing it and got the platinum at the end. It was absolutely not repetitive for me not more then any other open world game. Enjoyed every single part of it. A masterpiece for me.

@fR_eeBritney I think you'd definitely enjoy that. It's such a beautiful and amazing game. I played through all of the Dark Souls and Bloodborne (and NiOh series) more than once and i can tell you Demon Soul's not that hard at all. It's challenging but much more easier than the other soulslike games. Just give it a go you won't regret it!

If you buy physical edition you won't have problem with it at all. Play through then sell it. That's what i did a lot of time just bought it on release day then sold it after completion then buy it again few months later when price dropped if i liked it and put it into my collection. if you prefer digital library that's a different story

Exactly. Demon's Souls worth every penny. Hopefully this one will be the same. We should stop complaining about the next gen price tag it doesn't change anything just getting boring. Wait for the game then judge. They won't be cheaper but you'll get better experience. If the game is good lot of people going to buy it for full price eventually. Probably some of the 3rd party games will be cheaper but 1st party's game won't. And that's ok if you'll get a better experience after all.
