@Shepherd_Tallon I'm playing performance mode on Pro. Is it just me , but I didn't really see big difference between performance and balanced mode. They both look fantastic and sharp. About the game, it's just simply fantastic. One of the most absorbing game I've played for a long time. I just can't wait to jump back playing it , whenever I have some free time. This is something I very rarely feel...
Could anyone explain me what happened to Pushsquare lately? They seem so out of their role on this one and few other games lately, and pushing others blindly? This is not what I used to get from this site. Not defending Crimson desert, (though I'm playing it and like it so far), what the game gets from this site is just insane. On other hand they treating others so softly, like... I won't name it...
@guacguacboo well, it's probably just a town... At the beginning just outside the castle walls, (right after you have parted ways with the man who was helping you) there is your tent. With a bed and a chest inside.
@lazarus11 stash is already there. I'm at the beginning where you get into the town, and there's a chest/stash in a tent to store your belongings. Game looks very promising by the way, graphics, texture, framerate is spot on the Pro
@KundaliniRising333 No, it is not. But they needed a picture of a character with no direct light on it. No light source from front, side or back. That's how DF could demonstrate the difference between the base model and the RT on with Pssr2. That's not the model itself the point here, but the light and shadows on it
I'm not interested in this at all, but even if I was, would be hard to find a free slot in March-Apr-May, a lot of fantastic single player games coming out. Good months ahead for everyone
@Tsushima Yes, I recommend it. I played through, and it is really fun with some tough boss fight. Forging is quite simple, if you know what you're doing. Graphics and animation while it is not top level, but it looks absolutely nice, with detailed textures. Good game.
I recommend to check the physical prices on amazon black friday sales, many of the games listed here much cheaper than the digital version. Just picked up Expedition 33 for £29 and Astro for £33, also Battlefield 6, Death stranding are cheaper by a tenner
Am I the only one who hasn't played Expedition 33 yet? I'm not a fan of turn based combat at all, but I am really curious why does the game is so hyped? I wanted to try but the combat held me back
@Ainu20 Sorry I was a bit upset reading the article, maybe I overreacted a bit... I just hope their concentration on anime won't affect the numbers and quality of single players games, like the live service push did. Thanks for lighting me up by the way, I didn't know that it is about TV and movies
dear Sony what the hell are you doing? First pushing the the live service nonsense, forcing almost all of their studios to make them. Now they want to do the same with anime, manga?! I just hope they won't force their great western studios to make these type of games countlessly, not making games that made them great in the PS4 era...( I know money money money...)
@MrStark because their experience is different. Like mine. I was fortunate enough to have a PS5 and a Xbox X, then sold them and now have a Pro. NONE of them was loud, not the PS5 nor the Xbox in fact they were absolutely silent. I'm not saying you are wrong, but my experience and many others is the opposite.
Ok, I don't know why is that the third party devs can't solve these problem, maybe they just don't care. What I know is the Pro is a fantastic machine. I just bought one few weeks ago after a year of hesitation. So I just compared a few games with Pro support to the base version. Played Demon's Souls, Stellar Blade, Ghost Yotei, DS2 and Silent Hill F The difference is big, if you play on proper display, it's a much better experience. Is it worth the price? For me yes, for others maybe not. But to call the Pro a useless rubbish, just nonsense
@Fakeplastictree Not with this game, but sometimes I do. Try to set the camera look sensitivity lower, and the motion blur off, which I'm sure you already have
I started to play Yotei yesterday, it's great so far. I bought a pro finally so I am able to play it on Pro mode.
Oh boy... just amazing and beautiful, easily the best looking game for me on PS5 ( haven't played Death Stranding 2 yet). I feel like a kid in the candy shop, trying all Pro enhanced game out:) In the other hand, I played Cronos a bit, and that looked really bad. Everything looks grey and washed out sadly. Is it a Pro thing or it does look the same on base ps5 as well? HDR is switched off, but nothing changed. Anyone else had the same experience?
"would you pay $280 / €280 / £250 for a Collector's Edition of the game?" well... you could ask that question with every single collector's edition of the PS5 era. At least, this one has a physical copy of the game, not like the Sony Studio's for similar price...
@Ricky-Spanish It's not that simple. The thruth is , their game is definately good enough for being succesful. I'm playing it it and it's amazing. The problem is, a lot of people don' have the many to buy 3 games in a week or two, so they have to choose, even if they'd play both. Like me. I had to choose between Hell Is Us and Chronos, and I bought the former. I'll get Chronos probably next month. I hope they both get the sales they deserves eventually
wow...this is embarrassing list, especially the dollar one, though not surprising. I kind a feel proud of myself that played none from that list and only 3 games from the unit list (GOW, Skyrim, Last of Us)...
@ECharles don't decide on one guy's opinion... There's a a Hell is Us demo up on PS store, try it yourself. Me, personally really liked what I have played. Will be good.
I don't really trust Pushsquare on reviewing since they gave Khazan a 6, which is one of my favorite souls game out there. Honestly I don't really care outlet reviews anymore in general, they have far too much power on gaming industry these days. People trust them blindly. I'm more inclined to listen what actual players saying. I definitely give this one a go.
I tried and I'd say it is a very good game. Not fantastic but very good. It seems those game where Pushsquare gives 6 or 7, they are at least 8 for me..., like Lords of the fallen, Khazan, Atlas Fallen:) For me it's worth the launch price
it's definitely worth £45 for me. ( 45 with PSn, 48 on amazon and game collection) I recommend to go with physical, so if you don't like it, you can sell it or trade it.
for those who worried about game is too hard, there is difficulty settings to choose from, I'm playing it on default difficulty which is challenging for sure, but not super hard, but you can switch to easy in the menu if you want to. Although it seems permanent so you can't switch back, you need to start a new game if you want to play on normal again
@Northern_munkey I agree with you, just a little addition: The control display disappears once you completed the tutorial section, after you defeat the first yeti boss. At least that was the case to me yesterday...
I wasn't expected much, but pleasantly surprised. This is actually a very good game (a solid 8 for me), I enjoy most of the quests and a combat is really fun too. I think most of the negativity coming from those who actually never had played the game...
@sanderson72 Yes, there'll be physical edition as it's being listed for pre-order at several retailers like Amazon , ShopTo... I've just ordered mine:)
I have to wait buying a Pro, because of this sh... I mostly buy physical so I actually couldn't play any games because the lack of disc drive. I think Sony should have paid more attention to manufacturing enough disc drives on launch... I hope it will be back in stock, at least on Sony direct, so I can get both.
I did my part I bought it digital on release day and bought the physical copy too when it came out. Amazing game, deserve much much more sales. But people buy and play COD, Fifa, Fornite and live service games instead, and we are moaning and complaining about why developers playing safe with their new games...
@Nightcrawler71 do you meet or see other players if you play solo? If yes, can they kill you? Do you recommend to someone who' doesn't like multiplayer games, but love rpgs?
I never played the original, but of course I was aware of its legendary status. There was no question for me to give this one a shot as I like survival horror games. All I can say this Remake is just amazing, love it in every aspect. The atmosphere is so tense, even more than in my beloved Resident Evil remakes. Gameplay, puzzles, sound design are very well made. For me it is a10/10. Simple as that
It is actually £5 in Cex for the standard edition. So you can play the remake for £15... So here is why so important to retain the physical media, otherwise companies can mess with the prices whenever they want...
