Not at all. One of my favorite genre. Developers making these kind of games for a simple reason, because it's popular. It is a typical human behavior, if you don't like something, you want people stop making them. But why?
There are popular genres, which I don't like, for example Final fantasy and anime or manga types games or shooters like Cod, and they're coming on regular basis too, but that's fine. I just don't play them, there are more than enough games for everyone.
Also Flintlock Siege of Dawn has 3 difficulty options if anyone fancy to try

@lindos you can go with that. I started with my level 215 character. It's going to be manageable, but still tough. The key is to collect those scadudtee fragments which makes you much stronger. Normal leveling doesn't work her, so basically there is no big difference if you have a lv 175 or 215 character. You can collect at least 10 fragments in the early few hours, before fighting any bosses. That means you'd have level 5 blessing which means around 30 percent increase in damage and defence. Or even more after the update. That's a big difference.

Does it mean you've already collected and applied scadutree fragments will have the same increase? I'm on level 4 i guess, and each level gave me roughly 5% increase on damage output and defence. Does it mean i get these bonuses on the top of it?

wow that's a good news. I really like the game, I'm ready for my second playthrough after a 3 months break. Apparently it has been improved lot since, so it might be even better game than it was months ago...

where can I pre-order the deluxe edition in the UK? GAME has already sold out..

for someone like me who never played the original, this one looks amazing! Environment, atmosphere, enemies, all looks fantastic. I'm so glad I can play it freshly, not like a lot of people who will constantly compare every single detail to the original one, which is just killing the joy of playing. Can't wait to play this.

I am not sure about this. Is it recommended to someone like me, who doesn't really like games like Final Fantasy, Nier, or anime style games, but love rpgs, action rpgs, souls games, Japanese and Korean games in general? Played the demo, liked the combat but couldn't decide yet .

@Ravix wow the official Warhorse announcement trailer has over 1Million views in not even 24 hours. That's something, any AAA game dev would be happy with that. This game is quite something, can't wait to play!

I'll turn the motion blur off but definitely leave the RT on as it just elevating the game to a new level for me. Great game, great to have options too

I don't know about this , but there used to be a PS exclusive game called Day's Gone.... Had bad reviews everywhere, then turned out to be as an amazing game for many (including me). Will give it a go despite the critics

@ShogunRok I know the pawn system is the heart and soul of the game, but I'm not really fan of the unnecessary chatting while exploring. Can you reduce their chat frequency or mute them entirely? Thank you

Haven't played it, I'm not a FF fan, but reading the comments , one thought came to my mind...this happens if a title with millions of fanbase gets new releases every year or so. The developer gets content and a bit lazy, knowing their game will be sold no matter what. Reuse the same assets for every game, even downgrading the visuals, instead of improving, as it takes much less effort, money and time. I think quality is more important than quantity, but I know it's all about money.
Happy gaming for the fans though, they'll enjoy it I'm sure

Well, I'm looking forward to play this in February as nothing else picked my interest in that month. I'm not a Final fantasy nor a Persona fan, so it's absolutely fine for me. March looks amazing with Rise of the Ronin and Dragon's Dogma 2!

Lies of P , Lords Of the Fallen and Resi4 are my favorite games of the year. Maybe not in this order.

@Shepherd_Tallon Yes, very good game. I had been enjoyed every seconds of it. The two world mechanism is just amazing. Just an advice, use throwables, they are quite OP:)

It's out of stock in the UK so I couldn't manage to get one...sad. But I am sure they appear on Ebay in no time for 200-300...

Only Dragon's Dogma 2 for me

This is an amazing game for sure. I've been lost in it for weeks now, hardly wait to get back from work and play it. last time I had this feeling was Elden Ring. Lies Of P was excellent too

Of course Sony, thanks, selling your first party Collector's Edition and Special editions with a download code in the box recently, just ridiculous. Pushing gamers towards digital only is not a consumer friendly behavior I think. Nothing wrong with digital, just I prefer collecting games and resell it if I don't like them. Just let us making the choice, simply as that.
On the other hand I'm happy as my game collection is already worth a lot of money, and will just increase if there's no physical available anymore

@WolfyTn Same here, I always buy physical, but for some reason unknown I decided to buy FF16 for 70 pounds...just to realize the game is just not for me. I can't sell it obviously so it just sits on my account for eternity. Never again.

@Northern_munkey Oh all right I didn't even pay attention to the axe at all. I'll definitely give it a go then. Thanks for the advice!

@NoToSheep Yes the second phase is vey though even with the npc help. It feels like I'm doing very little damage to her. I'm definitely going to farm in Umbral maybe a 10 level or so the do more damage. Do you recommend dodging her attacks or trying to parry is the better option here?

@Northern_munkey I've just started to play the game 2 days ago after finishing Lies of P which was amazing. This one looks good to however I am quite early in the game , trying to beat the first boss Pieta. Experienced only one major crash , unfortunately during my best attempt on this boss which was a bit frustrating. What level were you when you fought this boss? I am level 25 and honestly I feel underlevelled for this fight. She is tough for a first boss I think.

@Northern_munkey I can't wait to start playing it on 19th. I'm glad to hear they tweaked the control. I played the demo and enjoyed it, but the response of the controls was terrible. I really struggled with the last boss because it seemed I was always late in a second with rolling an attacking. So is it better now?

Marvel, Final Fantasy and live service games over and over again. I really hope Sony has something else as well for us in the near future. Not everyone likes these games. Glad for those how do though. I was expecting a death Stranding 2 release date at least

I'd really like to play Starfield but I can't afford to buy an Xbox only to play this game. I think it's a nice success and they did great with this one I must admit. As PS fan I'm little bit concerned about Sony western RPG output in the future, ,but we'll see...

Lies of P for me in September, Lords of the Fallen, Alan Wake 2, Alone in the Dark in October. Looks great for me. I have no interest in superhero games so no Spiderman for me, but I'm glad for those who are counting the days back:) Good to be a gamer for the next few months

I don't really care how the main character looks like, I'd rather care about her personality. I just hope she's not going to be another annoyingly "cool" character like heroine in Forspoken.. Game looks very promising so far.

Can it be played solo or it is just co-op only?

Normally I always buy physical , however I just decided to buy FF16 digitally as i had a top up card of 70 pounds... Well I'll never make this mistake again as the game is just not for me couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. So it'll sit in my library forever without touching it . I'm afraid digital only future is inevitable because that's what publishers want, but I hope I we can enjoy physical releases still for a couple of years

It's easy for me: 1. Resident Evil 4, 2. Dead space, 3. Jedi Survivor

Well...I'm not totally sold to be honest. This is my first Final Fantasy game ever and I expected something very convincing. The combat is my biggest concern as I found it too easy and boring. A flashy numbers and effects are quiet distracting but I'm sure there'll be an option to turn it off. Graphics...well not too great in my opinion. Everything looked a bit blunt overall. The story looks interesting enough to keep my eyes on this. Overall it was an okay experience for me, keeping in mind I'm not a Final Fantasy fan. I can imagine fans are really enjoyed it

This one looks amazing! How long is the demo guys? This and Lords of the Fallen are my most anticipated games this year.
