I think a demo of this game could help people find out if it's their cup of tea. I'd like to play a demo, but I wouldn't buy this blindly, even if it were on sale.
The golden age of the PlayStation will be over the instant MS declares its retreat from the console market. That would be awe full for every player around the globe. As much as I do like to play Forza or Gears of War on my PlayStation, the market will die without competition.
I do like these online games as a service from time to time. But I don't have time to play more than one and I'm also not willing to play more than one at a time. Last year Neverwinter was my go to game, then came Skyforge, Marvel Heroes Omega after that and now it's Destiny 2. As long as I'll be playing D2, the other games don't even exist for me.
I got the game during last sale and now I wonder if I should wait for Frozen Wilds to release, so I can play with the main game incl. the DLC. Or if you can go ahead and play the main game already without the need to start all over again after DLC was released.
I wonder if all players are connected to the same servers. As in European players being logged in on servers situated in America. That would explain the downtime during European prime playtimes. If not, it's just a boot to the face for us European players, again, again, again, again.
As a trophy hunter I find this a very distasteful approach. But imagine the huge KFC and Snickers banners in our News Feed Tab, when one of our friends unlocks one of these two trophies. I must admit, it's an awesome idea. I don't like, but clever nonetheless.
I like the game, playing it at least every Monday since release while Destiny 2 is being maintained
There's some neat event going on in Happy Dungeon since last week, where you can grab some pretty helpful stuff. But this as well means grind grind grind.
I played the demo of MvC and didn't like it much. Also as was already mentioned, the art style isn't my cup of tea either. MegaMan and the likes look so out of place.
Never heard of this game before. I searched the web for this and found the official web site: https://www.forgottonanne.com/ More beautiful screenshots can be found over there.
You sure, that it's misspelling? The logo in the web site replaces the o with something that looks like a clock.
I don't see why SMS would be a good pick for a F&F game. It they were talking about lending a hand with games like Forza or Gran Turismo, that would be fitting.
I played the beta a couple of times, most of the time waiting for other players. The final version will also be playable solo (with AI comrades), so the waiting might not be an issue anymore.
I wouldn't call myself a real Warframe fan, but I do like the game. Whenever there's a new trophy for this game, I get back into it until I have my fill.
I like that exact mission so much, I already played it thrice
The only thing I do not agree upon is, that you land directly in front of the CPU. I always fall to my death because the vent shaft collapses and get respawned directly in front of the CPU. I played this mission with a friend, non of us managed to get to the platform without dying.
But the visuals, when you first enter the New Pacific Arcology are astounding. I was really impressed how everything visually changed just by stepping through a gap in the wall.
This doesn’t mean you’ll need PlayStation Plus though. As with all PlayStation titles, PS Plus will only be needed for the online multiplayer, portions of the Arcade Mode, including limited two-player split screen, single player races on select tracks and time trials can still be played offline.
To be honest, I would've expected you mentioned, that much stuff has been copied 1:1 from D1. There are almost no new enemies, everything literally looks and feels exactly the same in D2 as in D1. They tweaked every aspect a little bit here and a little bit more there, but except the story and the planets, nothing new really.
I'd really like to customize my storefront in a way, so that stuff I don't want isn't shown at all. I remember the days when Evolve filled almost two store pages with DLC.
And I don't need to see games listed I already own, when I'm on a sale store page. They should be filtered or at least give a an option to filter them manually.
Dunno what time that would be in Germany, but I guess it's not far from the BST time zone. So yeah, it messes with my plan playing D2 after work. I just hope that this is an exception, in D1 I never had to wait for maintenance to finish when I came home from work.
I loved and hated Vanquish. Very good game and fun to play. But these Challenges...grrrrr. There was only one challenge left between me and the platinum trophy, that's why I hated that game
In my opinion, you should've left the "didn't buy answer" out in the second poll. It was already fully covered in the first poll and it just doesn't fit the question of the second poll.
I don't care much about shaders. I liked them in D1, but now I just scrap them for glimmer and bright...er...stuff and then trade 'em for something different with Triss.
I paid 30€ for the game incl. TTK and for that price it was a blast. Even bought RoI on release and still think of D1 as a superb game. Pre-ordered D2 and can't wait for that stupid timer to reach 0d 0h 0m xD
I don't care much about mods at all, so they can keep their stuff. Paying for user created stuff just doesn't sound right to me. But as long as there are enough paying customers, this will live on.
I've got no problem with free stuff, they can add as much as they like. I recon we can skip this event and all the costumes just like that. What buggers me though, is that they're obviously putting so much effort into some "stupid" non-FF-esque stuff and then dare to release these half-assed episodes all season pass holders paid for.
"if you go in and you buy the game today with everything that's in it today, I believe that that's a game worth buying, personally"
If that's what they're aiming for, then why could people pre-order the game and why were people able to play the game when it was released? Next time they should polish it first and then release it.
I'm still thinking about getting the game nontheless, played the demo and really liked it. Maybe when it's on sale again, I'll grab it.
Yes, I agree. But it's only complicated because it was made complicated on purpose How about a "light" version of the raids, where you can matchmake with other players and learn the patterns of the bosses, but with downgraded loot tables?
No, it's not that simple. I too am one of these rare solo players nobody ever seems to even notice. I can handle myself pretty good in the Crucible and always perform above average in Strikes. But as soon as I'm interested in a raid, there's no way for me get into one. During all my time in D1, I only went into one raid solo (the one on the moon) and ended that try at the bridge, which I couldn't cross solo. So I joined a clan, one with many hundreds of players from all over the world, one where you have to fill a form in order to get an invite. After joining the clan I only got invited into one raid (the one on the dreadnaught) and that was it.
Only because a clan made everything different for you (or most people you know), that doesn't mean this will apply to every other player. Besides of that, most solo players have their reasons for playing mostly solo. For me it's a time issue, I have child, I'm in a relationship and I have to work 40h per week. So for me a matchmaking that helps me join a raid at a time I really am able to spend 4-6h straight playing, is the "only" thing that would help me seeing everything the game has to offer.
I’m still going to play D2 at release and will enjoy the games as much as I did D1, I’m sure of that. But there’ll also be a good chunk of content, which I’ll most likely never see for myself.

I'm so hyped for The Frozen Wilds. I thought maybe an AC would help me fill the gap until the DLC comes out, but nope

Re: You Can Take Gran Turismo Sport's PS4 Demo for a Spin Now
Tried to play this an hour ago. Stupid thing crashed three times in a row.
Also I'm not too keen with the required online connection for everything.

I still don't get it why they have to literally ruin every European player's (Destiny 2) day with these stupid maintenance times.

Guess I'll give Happy Dungeons a go until servers are back up.

What really helps finding these things is, that they have a distinct glow, when someone looted them before you. Same as with chests and caches.
