@DLB3 I was thinking about this article as well, but the trailers are slightly different. So it is not the exact same trailer, but it's still almost the same.
I only paid 10€ for the three additional DLCs, so I don't count playtime hours when it's that cheap. For me, it will be exactly what I want this DLC to be: a good excuse to get back into the game after getting 100%
I played Day of the Tentacle the exact same way for the exact same reason and I don't feel like I cheated or robbed myself of an experience. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have played the game without a guide.
Happened to me yesterday, I noticed a corpse glitching through the ground before the frames dropped. A few seconds later the game froze completely and didn't recover.
At this point, I think of Dreams as a wasted project generation-wise. If this takes until late 2019 and the PS5 may arrive at the end of 2019 or more likely in 2020, this should either be a PS5 launch title or at least cross-gen. Otherwise, it will be forgotten within less than a year after launch.
I don't care much for scores. I want to read about the ups and downs of a game. What difference makes 1 point more or less if the downs are a game breaker for me?
I pre-ordered this game to sate my hunger for more Diablo and up until now, I'm having a lot of fun.
There are a few things that seem odd to me, though: All the in-game descriptions and loading screen tips seem to lack the word "the". You enter Shadowrealm, not the Shadowrealm. You play as Devourer, not the Devourer and so on.
The other thing I'm not quite sure about are the mini-bosses. Not only that they're all the same and also only have two AoE attacks, they don't seem to take any damage and instantly regen health. It's stupid button mashing until they eventually die.
@get2sammyb 10€ seems like a good deal to me, even if I don't really know whats in the package. In the worst case, these chapters only add an extra hour per DLC, but that's still OK for me, as long as the base game is as entertaining as it looks.
@get2sammyb Now I'm very confused. I pre-ordered Marvel’s Spider-Man Digital Deluxe Edition which includes The City That Never Sleeps, for €79,99. That is only 10€ more compared to the Standard Version (€69,99).
Digital Deluxe Edition Includes:
Full Game
Three chapters in Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City that Never Sleeps series* – Available post launch, each chapter contains:
Additional missions
Additional characters from the Spider-Man universe
Additional suits for Spider-Man
If pre-ordered before September 7, 2018, receive all Pre-Order Bonus Content + a custom, one of a kind physical pin** for Marvel’s Spider-Man
*Users will receive DLC by March 2019.
**Only available to US and Canada customers

@Quintumply "He also explained that ..." Wiebke is a common name for women, at least in Germany. German gaming sites refer to her as "Kollegin" which is the female version of colleague.
Do they really think all these reveals will help them survive better against Spider-Man? If that's the reason they're thinking SotTR has nothing to fear from Spidy, then, by all means, they already overdid it.
I will buy this game sooner or later, but with all the reveals over the last weeks, I feel I already finished the game twice. But maybe it's just me playing Rise of the Tomb Raider over last weeks
@get2sammyb How'd you describe the Peter Park parts of the game compared to the web-slinging parts? Are these fun and entertaining enough on their own or are they more like the Desmond Miles parts in the old AC games?
I really hated being pulled out of the Animus only to be forced to play some Desmond story snippets.
My concern is, that I'd rather have my fun with Spider-Man and not want to be forced to play boring story parts as Peter Parker or MJ.
I barely buy games on disc, the last was so heavily discounted that I had to buy it. But apart from this impulsive moment of weakness, it's all digital for me since dunno 2010 or so.
@Neolit Meanwhile you could also use psprices.com and setup your whishlist there. The site even notifies you about sales for games if you wish to be notified. And on top of that, you can see if the discounted price is a good discount or not.
As I grow older, it seems that I care a bit less about achievements/trophies compared to 10 years ago. But I still try to get 100% in most of my games.
The Tokenizer Super Stardust HD First Trophy 10 years ago
To me Warframe is one of the few games where I never had to put real money into but still did just to support the devs. I really need to get back into the game and try out all the new stuff they added during the last couple of months.
I don't think this new bounty system will be there only for the civilian kills. Hopefully, we don't have to be on the run constantly, I don't want to be rushed while playing such open world games.
I enjoyed the beta, played it until I hit lvl 25. During these two days, I had some good fun with the game/beta. But I'm not going to pay that much for an arcade racer, that I may very well lose all interest in, after a couple of days.
My only concern is, that the servers may be deserted at the time the price drops. This could be one of those buy-at-release-or-don't-buy-at-all decisions.

Re: Poll: Is Assassin's Creed Odyssey One of the Best Games in the Series?
I've almost spent 100h with this game and still can't stop playing it. In Origins I only spent 109h getting everything to 100% incl. DLC.

By that time I'm most likely almost completely finished with the game. I was hoping for these events to start this week.
Re: Red Dead Redemption 2's PS4 Trophies Will Force You Online
No Platinum for me then, same as with RDR1
Still getting this game day one.
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man Looks to Be an Easy Platinum as PS4 Trophy List Emerges
@bbtothe There is no such trophy on the list. Dunno where he's got that from.

I got a dynamic theme with the Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order, haven't tried it out yet though.
Re: All New ANTHEM Trailer Details Different Parts of the Game, Including Character Interaction
I'm still looking forward to this and hopefully, it does for me at least the same as what Destiny did. In a good way of course.
Re: Review: Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4)
@FoxyGlen Thanks for not calling it "Spider-Man PS4" a single time. Really, I meat it.
Thank you <3
Re: Review: Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr (PS4)
I'll get this somewhere in the far future when it's on sale. Hopefully, they've ironed out all the kinks until then.

Goosebumps <3
Re: Raiders of the Broken Planet Relaunches on PS4 as Spacelords, Goes Free-to-Play
I played the beta of the initial release and found it pretty dull, tbh.
Wow, an elite skin, for every campaign that came for 10€ each? This will surely please everyone who's put money into this game
Re: Gamescom 2018: Great Assassin's Creed Odyssey Trailers Ask Which Character You're Playing As
Kassandra, played enough male assassins in the past. Nonetheless Ezio is still my favorite so far.
Re: Unreleased Psygnosis Shooter Launches on PS4, PS Vita Next Year
I loved SWIV on my C64 <3
And Turrican as well. Will keep an eye on this one.

@3MonthBeef I totally agree with you, but bringing this up after seemingly no one talks about it anymore, feels wrong in my book as well.
Re: This PSone Theme for PS4 Deserves a Commercial Release
I'm still using the 20th anniversary theme, which also comes with the PSone start-up sound, but just the sound, not the logo.
Re: The Elder Scrolls Online Is Free to Play for the Next Six Days on PS4
@ShogunRok @fisher And you'll need the exact same space twice if a patch is released. Not funny with a 500gb SSD

I couldn't care much less about Replays, but why the hell wasn't this trivial feature in the game from the get go?

Nice, I really like the first game. Hopefully, it's online co-op, not just local co-op.

@Flaming_Kaiser May or will be eventually someday in the future. Right now Borderlands 3 "is" nothing but speculation.

There goes my hope for RAGE 2 being our next Borderlands
Re: Soapbox: Spider-Man's E3 2018 Showing Needs to Come Out Swingin'
@wiiware Or maybe in one of those planned DLC stories.
Re: Legendary Shmup Ikaruga Brings Bullet Hell to PS4 Soon
Played this on xbox360 I think, very good game, but hard as nails. At least for me
Re: Soapbox: Spider-Man's E3 2018 Showing Needs to Come Out Swingin'
Venom and/or Carnage.

Such a huge letdown. I was so hoping this to be good. I loved Space Marine. Maybe they can patch it to be at least moderate.
