@judgmentarrows I wouldn't go as far as to say that Sony cares much about the good will of their customers. They can be just as scummy as Microsoft.

I doubt that people buying games digitally instead of physically would be a game changer concerning climate change.

Console-only crossplay should be the default. PC players are at such an advantage. You almost need CoD level of aim assist (which is too much) to balance it.

I'm still doubting about getting this. I really like the setting. I'm not really a fan of the PvP aspect though.
Also, the "micro"-transactions in this game are disgusting.

@Deshalu Cheaters pay quite a bit of money for those cheats. I don't think they care about making a new account and buying Arc Raiders again. Besides, it will probably be a lot cheaper to get it on keys selling websites. That barrier might stop a few, but I don't think it's enough.

There were already hackers during the server slam. It will probably only get worse once the game is released. I'd advise everyone on console to disable cross play. Shame they didn't implement console-only cross play.

I'm guessing that you won't need a subscription to play online with the upcoming Xbox. So if you play online multiplayer, the prices in the end would actually be closer. Only problem is that you'll be up against cheating PC players.

8/10 for me. Having a lot of fun. However, when I play with my Xbox friends we end up in servers mainly populated by pc players which makes it almost unplayable at times. When I'm playing on my own against PS5 players only, the game is much better. This game really needs console-only crossplay. When will developers learn this? Arc Raiders is also gonna release without console-only crossplay. Really sucks.

I've been trying Arc Raiders. It's has incredible atmosphere and sound design. I just wish it was PvE instead of PvPvE.

No SBMM means I won't be playing it, lol. Always felt it is a very vocal minority that is always bitching about SBMM and Aim assist. I don't mind aim assist being lowered, but then the default cross play setting should be console-only.

I was close to getting it, but during the build up something just put me off. I liked the combat and katana stances in GoT. I'm not sure if I'll like the new system. Plus I'm not convinced that they addressed the tedious repetitive open world filler from the first game. So, I guess I'll wait for a sale

I finished the ME trilogy for the first time last week. Such amazing games (despite the endings). Would be a shame if the next ME is cancelled. Then again, I don't have a lot of faith in the current Bioware after Veilguard. I'm keeping my eye on The Expanse and Exodus in the mean time.

I guess I'm lucky that I don't know who this is.

I just finished the Mass Effect Legendary edition trilogy. Don't really have a desire to play anything right now tbh

CGI trailers don't really do anything for me anymore. I prefer to see trailers made from gameplay footage

Yeah, you could see this coming. Feedback from the alpha was anything but good. Meanwhile people were raving about Arc Raiders. Unfortunately, I doubt they'll be able to save this one.

I've never played a Kojima game, are they worth it?

They'll keep chasing that fortnite money, but I doubt it will ever happen for Sony. Definitely not with Marathon, which had very mixed feedback from players during alpha.

Seems like there was a lot of hype surrounding this one, but releasing in the fall might be a challenge for Embark Studios. They'll be competing with some big games.

Just finished the final episode of season 2 and I gotta say, this show took a real nosedive this season. I never played the games, only part of the first one (didn't like the gameplay), but the story was intriguing.
Season 1 of the show was quite good, but season 2 is just really bad on so many levels. This scene is just one example. The writing is very poor, acting wasn't great (although they have to work with what is given, which isn't good.. Pedro Pascal really outshines the rest though). Plus it felt downright boring at times...a teen drama instead of a zombie apocalypse story. Then, if you turn it into a revenge story, you better make sure the protagonist is the one to root for instead of making her insufferable and annoying. Maybe it works for games (idk if the story is completely the same), but I feel it doesn't for tv/movies.

The discounts on their games are a joke.

@Ken_Kaniff You could still switch to another ecosystem if you wanted to. You could keep your PS5 and always be able to play those games you've bought digital. That's what I'm gonna do anyway when I fully switch to PC or maybe even Xbox if Steam will be supported.

Easy for him to say. $80 isn't about 5% of his monthly income.

I don't know, I find the 2nd season a few steps down compared to the 1st season. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Man, i hope this is true. Would love a steam/xbox console. Don't think I'd have the need for a PS6 with its closed system then. And these days most games are coming to steam anyway.

Definitely not. I'm patient enough to wait for a sale. Besides, everybody is assuming it's gonna be a great game, but what if it kinda sucks?

PS has been such a disappointment this generation with so much wasted potential and a price hike for their subscriptions. PS5 will probably be my last console and I will fully switch to PC where eventually most PS games can be played anyway. Maybe if Microsoft makes an Xbox with Steam support I could be enticed to buy another console.

This could have used a fov patch. Tried the demo on PS5, but it was unplayable for me. Got it on pc and it plays so much better.

If this happens I hope they keep FromSoftware games multi-platform. I'd rather see FromSoft independent though.
