Hopefully this will get slightly more consistent support from devs than those Activity Cards. Does anyone even remember that those exist?

After Starfield, I don't know if I even trust Bethesda to make a good follow-up to Skyrim at this point.

Cost of living is vastly different in Japan. When I visited Tokyo, I was astonished at how cheap it was to do certain things like eating out at a restaurant. Close to 50% less than what I would pay at home.

This might be the first time where I think a remake is completely unnecessary

no, Crystal Chronicles has quite a bit lower score. Chronicles is the ps1 compilation of FFIV and Chrono Trigger

I'll admit, I naively thought that Embracer would be good for the industry when they started buying up some of these studios. Turns out they represent everything wrong in the business world.

ah excellent, one more opportunity to hold off on playing AC Valhalla because of how darn long I hear it is, until it inevitably leaves the service again.

I'm fully on board with remakes IF they're actually needed. There are so, so many games from the ps1 and ps2 eras that would greatly benefit from a remake. Yet, we keep getting word of ps3 and even ps4! remakes (Until Dawn). It's hard not to feel like they're just going for the lowest effort cash grabs.

Not sure why that's relevant. State of Plays never have big first party reveals. Anyone expecting that was setting themselves up for disappointment

This is just sickening. If any normal product were to drop in price by 90%, you would think they would be losing money on it, or losing any margin at least. Microtransactions are a complete scam

it's just kind of sad that after 8+ years, this is what we're getting from Rocksteady, a mediocre live service. Assuming it doesn't end up killing the studio, when's the next possibility of getting something good from them, another 5+ years likely?

I haven't played this yet, but was planning to. However, I absolutely do not care for roguelites/likes. To clarify, is this a separate mode or area within the game? Or is the whole game a roguelite?

Well, I guess Push Square and Pure Xbox readers have something in common. The first party exclusive is the winner no matter what. At least Spider-Man is a more reasonable choice than Starfield...

A victim of releasing in a stacked 2023. Had it released in the last couple of years, I have no doubt it would be getting far more recognition during awards season.

That's kind of a tough one. Should journalists pretend that the information is not out there and widespread already? I don't think it's such an easy answer.

must be tough for a site like push square to have to ignore the information coming out of this hack. There are some VERY newsworthy revelations in there. Some of it I really wish Sony would just be more open about and share publically anyway, regarding sales numbers etc.

can't really relate to the concern about spoilers. I never play games day 1, so effectively every game is 100% "spoiled" by time I get to it.

I really dislike roguelite/roguelikes unfortunatey, so I wish that there was no story content here, so that I could safely ignore it

Surprised to see all the negative reactions. Personally, there are 6-7 games here from my wishlist, which is fantastic.

Wow guess my tastes are quite different than most on this site. A roguelike add-on for God of War would be right at the bottom of my list

Interesting that this is coming to playstation, considering it was originally published by Xbox Game Studios.

@Shinnok789 yeah this is actually disappointing to me, because it has actual postgame story content, which I want, but in a roguelite mode, which I have no desire to play.

It was a nice movie trailer, but I don't really anticipate games until I see some gameplay, and that's going to be what? a year from now?

@dskatter It may sound silly, but when you lose a benefit, of any kind, it hurts company morale. Not so much because of the benefits themselves, but because it leads to the fear of "what's next?"

I guess this is a good option for some, but to me it makes leveling feel completely pointless. One of the most satisfying things in an RPG is to go back to an early area with all your endgame godlike powers and just obliterate everything.

Not that I like the price increase, but it's kind of funny to see everyone expecting the service to improve in some way because of it. When the price of a banana goes up at the grocery store, do you march to the front and demand to know how this banana will be better than the one you bought last week?

GameMill is right up there with Tokyo RPG Factory for bad game company names.

I guess all aspects of the game need to be considered when giving a review score, but if the single player is great, but the coop sucks, then I guess a 7 or 8 would be the appropriate score for a single player only gamer?

Everyone who keeps expecting Sony to offer something more to "justify" the price increase, it's not going to happen. If you think you're no longer getting enough for your money, cancel your subscription. Simple as that

It's one of those games that I find amusing for a few minutes and then inevitably regret my purchase.

With all of these game showcases, I care about only two things. New game reveals and gameplay reveals. So from that perspective, the Nintendo show was a whole lot better. Once I know I'm interested in a game, I definitely don't need 10 more trailers for it.

@FatalBubbles Gotta say it's the opposite for me. English voices feel so out of place in most Asian-made games.
