@Matroska most of what you’ve described is my normal day just getting around my kids toys and getting to work

@theMEGAniggle it works out at less than 1% of ps5 owners bought it.

I think it’s also the fact that it’s not in shops and other online sites.

I like the bloober games in general, I think they’re interesting. Just hope they nail the combat as they don’t seem to have done much in the way of combat in the past as far as I know, although I’ve only played the layer of fear games, the medium and part of the Blair witch. Fingers crossed it’s as faithful to the original as they say. Looking forward to this as silent hill 2 is one of my favourite horror games.

I wonder what people would say if playstation were attempting to buy Activision?

Am really looking forward to the psvr2. I know there’s a lot of negativity etc and everyone’s entitled to their opinions. Loved the psvr and can’t wait for this one. Day one for me too

The switch is doing amazingly, especially since it’s only been on sale for 5.5 years or so, compared the the ps2s 12 years. Still doubt the switch will dethrone the mighty ps2 though.

Next level edition was £50 last month so preordered it then as it was cheaper than the normal version for some unknown reason

Good sale, I don’t think resident evil village was scary at all to be honest, was a pretty good action oriented game in my opinion though and enjoyed it.

Can’t wait for this game. There’s a few varied reviews out there but all mostly positive. Can’t wait to play this and see how good the ray tracing is on Friday! I hope it’s actually scary and tense, resi 7 was tense for a couple of hours then I didn’t find it scary really after jack

If they include digital sales things may not change as they’d have to include other consoles digital sales who also sell many games digitally.

Had it preordered the day preorders were available. Literally the reason I bought a ps5.

@Grimwood I like the “free” and agree with the air quotes . A lot of people think ps plus games are free but games with gold or game pass aren’t even though they’re both subscriptions and both very good services. Really impressed that this initiative is fully free and really respect Sony for this

@JJ2 fair, it is subscription so I see your point there. I guess I class it as free as I mainly pay for the online aspect like with ps plus.

@ORO_ERICIUS does it really matter about owning it or renting it? It’s the same game and I think it’s good, just glad I didn’t pay for it. I don’t see why people get so defensive over games or consoles, it doesn’t matter where you play it or what you play it on as long as people have a nice time and enjoy it. I have a ps5, but I would rather rent something for free rather than paying for it if I have the option. Both machines are amazing and the game is good and I am enjoying it. We are all here to appreciate games, so let’s appreciate them and not have silly little arguments. I’m really glad

Got it on game pass on series x, glad I didn’t get it on ps5 as that would have been frustrating paying for a game that you can’t play sometimes due to the servers. It’s good so far, really enjoying it.

Resi evil and ratchet and clank are the only two I’m excited about to be fair, returnal looks cool but I wouldn’t pay full price for it

Loved the first game and looking forward to this one. I’d rather them take their time and make a decent completed game rather than rushing it and releasing a broken game cough cyberpunk cough

@__jamiie I guess the people who won’t miss them on ps5 have both consoles. I’m lucky and have both, but would much rather have the games on ps5 with the extra dual sense features.

Love ps5 and xbsx. Looks like the Xbox has the advantage in this scenario, but ps5 has way better exclusives so both have their strengths I guess.

@Voltan aye I know, it’s frustrating but it’s the world we live in at the moment and need to get used to it I guess. I’d rather wait and have a complete game and not a rushed mess

I think under normal circumstances the launch window should be 3-4 months, but due to the current pandemic id say 6-7 months. That being said I would much rather have a delay and have a full finished amazing game, rather than a rushed, broken game needing a million updates cough cyberpunk cough....

Got one at launch, was lucky on game, managed to get a preorder the night of the PlayStation reveal. Was just extremely lucky, just wish scalpers would stop making it so hard to get a console
