I think it’s annoying having to pay for the ps5 version, like a few people I got the ultimate edition when it was on sale, however until this gen there wasn’t any free upgrades as far as I know. Remasters are a similar thing in my opinion, pay for the same game with slightly upgraded graphics. Like people are saying here if you don’t like it don’t buy it.

Glad you’ve been having fun with yours too! I think the games are amazing and are really good fun. It is really quiet, apart from the disk drive when that comes on to load a game up hahaha. Overall I think the Xbox is slightly quieter, but doesn’t have any games to push it. Prefer the PlayStation though, better games that look better

@DrClayman I couldn’t agree more with the haptics being over hyped, they’re cool but not revolutionary as everyone keeps saying. Plus the ps button is kind of annoying

Loving my ps5, the games are good and solid. Astros playroom is good, but a bit too easy, but that’s for accessibility to everyone. The dual sense is really good, and haptics are impressive but (and I doubt anyone will agree) they don’t seem that amazing compared to what everyone was saying, however the rain in Astro is pretty good but not really utilised much in other games to much of a significant degree. Still loving it, going to try my series x tonight to see if I miss the haptics

@1_W1NG3D_4NG3L I agree, people are willing to buy consoles etc from scalpers, so if people stop buying them for the scalpers, then they’ll have to stop it. I don’t see why anyone would pay 2-3 times the value of a console for it personally.

I’ve been with Amazon for about 16 years or so, and they’ve always been great, something like this is extremely sad and shocking to hear. Like you say the general workforce can’t be blamed, but Amazon need to step up, find the culprits and inform the police. Issuing priority to the people who’s ps5’s were stolen should be done, as it will have shook their faith in buying anything from there again.

@RevDrGalactus I wasn’t a fan of the design at first, but honestly in person I think it looks pretty good

Mine came yesterday from game, even with the yodel fiasco! Am really happy with it, just need to “git good” as they say at demons souls now

I got a series x too, had to save for a couple of months to afford both, but worth it hahaha. Fingers crossed we get them today buddy!

That’s awesome that you got sent one! I’m jealous haha! I agree and that’s good of you to give another person a chance to get one, shame the scalper (or whatever you call them) don’t think like that. Wouldn’t be as much of a shortage if they did!

@God_of_Nowt I was just saying that I don’t know any cinemas charging £20 hahaha, not complaining about the price of games. I have no problem paying £70 for a game, got 3 ps5 games and 2 series x games plus subscriptions to both Xbox and PlayStation haha

@Athrum i don’t know what cinema he goes to for £20 for one ticket, if you go to vue it’s only £5.99 for any film.

@get2sammyb I’m sure all ps5 games are out on the 12th in U.K. aren’t they? Mine are scheduled for delivery on the 12th so I can stare at them before my ps5 comes

@oldschool1987 good choice of games there to be fair! Half life 2 is amazing! I’m getting assassins creed on Xbox series x, was extremely lucky and managed to get both consoles!

@oldschool1987 I reckon so, I’ve got demons souls, Spider-Man ultimate and GodFall (not sure if it’ll be good but looks shiny at least) for lunch, and not sure whether to get sackboy or cod, think I’m leaning to sackboy though. What other games will you be getting?

I hate spoilers, but I don’t use social media so they’re fairly easy to avoid for me. I can’t wait to play Spider-Man miles morales and remastered!

@Only1PJA it’s an online one from game, I’ve read that deliveries should be as normal on a few sites, however there’s always that niggling worry in the back of the mind, so hopefully it’ll be delivered. Thank you for answering, I appreciate it.

I’d like to know about battery life of the controller, fan noise, how hot the console gets using demanding games and if U.K. online preorders will be delivered during the lockdown, I know the last one isn’t about the consoles performance, however it would be nice to know
