Having an OLED / VRR TV, 60 fps over 30 very much makes a difference! Graphics dont make a difference if a game feels like crap to play

Well its a British poll and honestly whats a more iconic British game/character? So not really suprising! Now if it was a poll of Americans, im sure Mario would be up there at No1.

The resource grind is no way near how it was, you can literally ammned your game to play however you want.. ie resources, abundant! or switch your save to creative and never ever worry about having to pay for anything or run out of resources ever again.

They deserve the world to be honest, its a small team and they have slogged their guts out to deliver high quality updates and all for free, they have more than earned the right of "being redeemed"

No Mans Sky is a game I play weekly, its just a lovely vibe and to do whatever you want, and with no microtransaction stores or overpriced DLCs or login bonuses its just a game that respects your time however you want to play it.

Super refreshing and super chill, and its always the game I turn to for a bit of escapism if im having a hard time of it in the real world.

Cant wait for all those new quality AAAA games like Skull n Bones!

Call me old fashioned. I'd rather just have a well optimized game, couldn't give a single plop about ray tracing on a puddle or window that you see for less than half a second.

Combat based on Parrying? Well at least I can take another game off my to buy list.

An absolute waste of time, money and resources. I was a day one PS4 Pro buyer as by that point my OG PS4 was CREAKING along and games were pushing its boundaries, not a single one of the few true PS5 only 1st party games released have even tickled the PS5s capabilites.

Theres no way games should be struggling to achieve 30 or 60fps on a PS5 if the games were actually optimized properly.

Bought this a couple months ago, and was very cynical but curious about it, only finished it last week and it ended up being one of my fav ever games! I just wished there was a NG+

I would have been interested in it, but the performance and frame rate drops are massive red flags for me, hopefully it can be improved.

Finally took the plunge on Friday as I was a bit sceptical of the co-op side of things, but been having a tonne of fun with it! But theres a couple of big issues need sorting asap,

Ive not been able to add any of my friends on PC via friend request, and having to resort to picking a planet, a finding a mission we all have at the same time and try to join, so not ideal at all for a co-op game, hopefully this gets sorted asap.

Quite tempted by Prince of Persia at that price tbh

Im actually not really enjoying it as much as I thought I would which makes me sad, im about 30ish hours in and Its starting to feel like such a chore. When its good its great! But theres just too much bloat for me atm.

I guess people are getting real comfortable not owning Ubisoft games, The CEO should be thrilled!

Of course the 4chan basement dwellers are over the moon at the news, but for most people its a bit of a shame (but understandable) to hear, the guy wasn't afraid to make bold choices, push stories / games / characters forward in a way nobody would expect, and quite often as a massive FU to the loud minority and will leave a legacy that is, nobody will ever forget the games and stories he made.

It really doesn't get any better than that for anyone in the games / entertainment industry.

Nothing for me, but a good selection of games! Witch Queen is actually a very good D2 expansion, so if your a lapsed Destiny player something to at least check out!

From the outside it seems like they took the money and ran.
It absolutely doesnt feel like a success nor does it feel like they have any desire to support it properly with 1st Party stuff, a bit like the PS5 atm.

Its a bit of a weird gen all round in lots of ways.

Time for Sonic Mania 2

I literally tried this Demo last night for 10 minutes, Its all I could last, does every single character HAVE TO SHOUT AT ME IN MAX VOLUME AT ALL TIMES. Along with Foamstars this will be dead in the.... water (ahem) by the end of its year long support cycle.

I'll never forget how this game made me feel when I finally finished it, I dont think I played a game for about a week! It was absolutely brutal from "that" point in the story, It didnt even feel like a game at points, more like you were just existing in the experience and seeing it play it out.

Such an experience of a game and im glad they told they story they did in the way that they did, I dont think there will ever be anything like it for a long time.

The only MS game I'd like to try would be the Forza games and honestly I dont think games like that would be coming to PS5, it'll be the games that havent sold terribly well / not played on Gamepass being offed to other consoles after a specific time period.

Same games from a month ago at the same static sale prices?

Was gonna buy but like Ubisoft said, why pay for your games just wait till they go on a subscription service, so that is precisley what I am going to do, considering pretty much every other Ubi game is available that way.

That trailer is a graduate from the Bungie School of Hype Trailers, good trailer, looks fun but the co-op nature of it will ever rule me out of playing it, but good to see a lot of people are looking forward to it!

Dina was the only character in the game that really really annoyed me, I was somehow hoping they might have forgotten to cast her in the show, good casting though, I guess.
