Great Games arent everything on a Gaming Console? LOL the absolute clownery that comes out of this mans mouth, if games dont sell gaming consoles, what does?
This was a miserable experience, tried it for an hour and just Nope, see also that Ratborne game, felt like my controller was about to break just moving about. Pretty dreadful month!
Good news! It also just reminds me that I only just noticed something the other day, that highlighting a game on your home page ribbon now tell you how many hours you've played a game for, I have no idea when this was introduced but thought it was pretty cool.
Capcoms' re-emergence is a thing of beauty and we love to see it! I hope they keep growing and take some of that new confidence and push it into a new IP or two.
Giving it a solid 8! The atmosphere and world is incredible as is the attention to detail, but what brings it down for me, is the incredibly clunky movement, one min your sprinting then its just a dead stop for no reason, camera movement is also a bit janky, so its not perfect, but its a great game despite those little flaws.
Surprising? How is anyone suprised that another average live service game and one based on dodgeball at that is shutting down? Im honestly surprised its lasted 9 seasons really!
Lines up with my gut instincts about PSVR2.. while the tech is impressive, its just too expensive for many people, esp these days and when theres so few games ready at launch. I dont think it will catch on they way they were hoping it would this time round, but also has been mentioned several times the guy behind this "news" is a proven liar and a hack, so it all remains to be seen.
Actually "feel bad" for Ubi, they were on a pretty decent roll with AC Origins / Odyssey, The Division and Far Cry 4 / Primal last gen, but the whole unmentionable scandal, and the soulless bloat of Valhalla, Far Cry 5 and the trash that was Watchdogs Legion and Riders Republic and the never ending delays of this game and the doomed Prince of Persia remake just make them seem creatively bankrupt and out of date, Hope they can regain that spark somehow, perhaps scaling back on the size of their games might be a path to follow.
Honestly, Valhalla put me off the modern AC games and I adored Origins and Odyssey. So Mirage just sounds like the perfect pallete cleanser before whatever this live service AC Hub nonsense they have planned is. Hoping we see some gamplay soon, but im not expecting this to release until Q4 or early next year.
Some absolutely horrific "sale" prices in this tbh But I can absolutely recommend Oxenfree and Nobody Saves The World which will cos you less than £14 for both. And Sonic Orgins is a very decent price as well.
Until Dawn remains the winning fluke then, have played and unfinished the first couple in the Anthology on PS+ and they were rotten frankly. Shame this seems like its turned out the same, was hoping the SAW inspired traps would have been more of a thing, oh well!
I feel very confident this will actually be great. Chernobyl was excellent, and HBO rarely faulters with its big boy tv shows, so fingers are hopefully crossed!
They let them rebrand to then shut them down, the money wasted! Poor people, hope they find new jobs and quick. And tbf Hitman Go was actually a pretty decent little mobile game, one of the 3 mobile ive enjoyed playing every now and then.
@SerJosh97 Chill down mr... also stop assuming everyone is interested in all the 1st party games? Ive got no interest in Ragnarok and there will be lots of others feeling the same. So far its only been Returnal and Ratchet and Clank thats appealed. Super glad you've been loving everything so far, some of us havent and thats OK too
Just bought a 2nd hand Series X today, my first ever green machine, feeling rather dissillusioned with Sony this Gen, and things like this dont help, so im open minded to what the other side is offering up.
Im glad Silent Hill is back, but BLOOPER remaking it? Conflicted thoughts, more excited for the Silent Hill TownFall game from the people behind Alien Isolation / Observation tbh
LOL £210 for a controller, a CONTROLLER! Absolutely revolting pricing especially in the current economic climate. Quite honestly, hope this backfires on them, spectacularily! Anyone thinking VR2 is going to be less than a PS5 is in for a shock.
Im guessing VR2 is going to launch at least £399 in the UK but that is going to be a VERY hard sell for anyone, esp if the winter is predicted to be as bad as it will be, disposable income will pretty much be non-existent for a lot of people, who knows, maybe Sony will shock us all with a £299 launch price, but after they've bumped up the price of the PS5, thats not likely.
Crystal Castlessssssssssss! I broke several of the joysticks playing that game much to the fury of my poor parents... shame theres no Joust there, but will def be grabbing this collection when it comes out
I thought it was better paced than their previous, but none of the games were appealing to me and that includes GOW! Loved the one a few years back, but im just feeling suprisingly indifferent to Ragnarok and I dont know why!
At this point im looking forward much more to Mirage if the rumours about it are true.. A live service game or whatever it is has the potential to completely ruin the series, hoping the idea of Infinity is based around the Animus.. ie the social hub where we can hop into other points of time, but I have a feeling its just going to be a cash grab and go horribly wrong at launch, prove us wrong Ubi!
If its a Valhalla sized game, i'll be skipping. Give us a good coherent straight forward single player game 30ish hours max and i'll preorder right away
I sincerely hope Bungie / Sony stay away from Netflix for whatever Destiny story they decide to adapt for TV, unless they get they people behind Castlevania on board.
Not really sure what poor Geoff does to warrant so much negativity.. dont watch his shows much these days, bit too long and padded out with fluff, but it is important and nice we still have someone willing to bring and give games some good media presentation, otherwise we would have nothing.
Says Phil "the gamer" Spencer, head of the company whose just about to buy up a 1/3 of the gaming market because they cant compete game wise, the same company who introduced pay to play online with your friends, the same company who insitigated the whole games as a subscription service is getting mad and stomping his feet, because other companies are being forced to compete in ways they wouldnt?
