A big fat meh, mainly the same games same sale prices as usual, only game on my wishlist for sale is Crisol Theatre of Idols for just over £7 so will be snapping that up
Damn.. the whole thing is sad. Maybe Bungie should pivot away from live service games full stop, crank out awesome single player games again, I think thats the only way Bungie survives all of this.
Sad end but definitely for the best! The game was literally creaking and breaking with every update they did. Maybe a hot take, but I think Destiny is done as an IP, and I think they all need to create something brand new to re-energize themselves.
I didn't like either of the Kingdom Come games, am not about washing clothes in games lol so I'm hoping it's not a LOTR game in a Kingdom Skin, but interested to see how this turns out, would love a proper big LOTR RPG game
They aint gonna be showing off Fairgames in a State of Play lol That game is destined to die even if it turns out less terrible than expected.
Like someone mention earlier Sony 1st party games are too predictable for me these days, but I am loving Saros and Intergalactic is the only one im remotely interested in of the announced ones.
That's a big ouch! Would be a bit surprising to see Bungie continuing as they are without Sony getting more involved now, though Sony still made an ridiculous amount of profit its not a good look to have a company you bought for billions keep returning negative value and profits.
Somethings gonna have to change, whether that's D2 (finally) getting shuttered from its death support it's currently on and they take the hit continuing with Marathon while a D3 or new shooter IP is getting worked on in the background with more Sony say in it or it's bye Bungo really
Actually quite liked having no new sale, the constant sales just get tiring esp when its mostly the same games on a rotating loop ie every other sale
I'd be well down for 1 sale period a month, with actually a differing set of titles each month where you didnt know most of the games you were gonna see for sale.
MK1 pretty much killed my love for the games, while visually amazing, it just felt like a cold, empty cynical cash grab. A long rest from the MK games is def needed.
I only watched the 2021 movie a few weeks ago, was great fun! The sequel (for me) has a much better line up of characters as well, looking forward to watching it!
Lol @ IGN.. as usual! Always on the wrong side each and every single time, quite the skill! Anyways I'm all pre-ordered up and looking forward to this taking over my weekend next week.
Somehow I have sunk about 7 hours into Tiny Bookshop today and it really only feels like I've just gotten out of bed.. what a super chill, addictive game
Nope Nope Nope not ever would I pay that for any console. If that does come about, I'll be playing my 5 Pro until its dead, and then? Maybe I'll source a Megadrive from somewhere and enjoy some great retro games.
Extremely grateful I managed to get a good deal on a PS5 Pro a week or so ago, will be clinging onto that for dear life for the next 5+ years waiting on these "innovative, high-quality gaming experiences to players worldwide".
I think it's really really good in the 5ish hours I've played so far, but I'm gonna hang back for a few patches before getting properly into it.
Some of the controls are a..choice! At least let us remap them, and the lack of storage is truly mind boggling, the couple of puzzles I've done so far have been fairly fine to solve but mainly by brute forcing it cos the "hints* it gives you are wilfully obtuse.
But it's Def gonna need a good few patches to get upto where it's meant to be and to give the Devs credit, they seem to be on top of stuff and quickly.
Im so confused by this doom headline, high 70s to low 80s seems pretty good! Just been watching a couple of reviews on youtube and the game seems pretty solid? Main complaints are Inventory / lack of storage (which is being added post launch) and the complete lack of info about how some things work (like fast travel points and how to heal your horse) so its on the extreme end of not hand-holding (theres no way points) pretty sure they will patch some of that stuff into the game pretty quickly though.
Pretty much seems like a single player MMO packed with exploration, hidden secrets and puzzles etc which some you can do on your own and some your gonna need to follow a guide / ask the reddit / discord community to help solve stuff.
Still looking forward to playing it, seems like you are getting a LOT for your money which is a good thing. If your wanting a fairly balanced take watch the Luke Stephens / Paul Tassi / Game Ranx reviews, they give good examples of the great, good, bad and frustrating things. Anyone still paying attention to IGN reviews, well thats on you.
I cannot wait for this, Returnal is still my game of this gen so far so I know its gonna be good. 2026 has been a great year for games (for me) so far.
I like everything i've seen of it enough to hover over the Pre-Order button, but I still have no idea what its all about, like whats the plotline? Someone said it best earlier, But I hope its not a chuck everything at it, look what cool things you can do Sandbox but none of it comes together to make a "good" game. At this point im still thinking of waiting for a few reviews before buying.
Oh LordT, just watched the video, for the 1st time its making me want a Pro! For everyone wondering they did say the base PS5 video is coming in a couple days, guessing they just wanted to prioritize the Pro version first.
@JoeNobody Another American saying the UK is somehow backwards in the comments, what's that 3 profiles in 3 days now? Something funny bout that maybe it should be looked into..
The main thing it's making me feel is that I'm glad I still like buying physical copies of my games. Dynamic pricing on anything is an absolute scum practice.
I was reading about this, the main point seems to be customers (in the UK) are paying vastly more for digital games than physical ones, and they are querying why that is? ie theres no physical product attached to a digital game so it should it cost less, and Sony are charging far more for digital. Fully support this case, there is absolutely no reason digital games should cost much more.
Im still holding out for game reviews and PS5 Performance reviews before buying, its just seems too good to be true atm with everything its offering and promising
@Brigurugi BOLD and BRAVE of someone with United States as their location to share that opinion in 2026. Anyway Requiem is fantastic, finished it last night, Def in contention for being the best RE game so far, awesome to see hopefully new players pick up previous entries as well!
Not a big PVP / Extraction player, but the server slam really surprised me! Played a lot more than I expected to! One of those games that got better the more you played, understood etc Didnt buy it as I know I would drop off quickly once it got toooo sweaty, but if you like a semi-hardcore PVP shooter with a learning curve, and builds etc would totally recommend it.
Does look pretty damn good now. I was on the side of this being a DOA, but now think its got a pretty good chance of being a decent sized success for them.
While its not a game i'll buy cos I dont like pvp extraction shooters, i'll def check out the server slam to see how it plays etc but deep down I'll always wish it was a single player experience cos the art style and music is incredible.
Delay it to 2028/9 There is absolutely no desire from most people for a new console yet, Its only really felt like this gen is just getting started from last year.
Beyond baffling why Sony haven't revived Ridge Racer as a proper big budget modern day arcade racer, it would be such a good companion to GT with that being the more "serious" game

Absolutely wild.
Re: Further Evidence of PSN's Rebrand Uncovered on the PS5 Console
Maybe next gen will bring a full brand refresh with it and they are just blank-slating everything ahead of time, maybe not.
Bit of a weird thing really, PSN just seemed to flow better saying it etc
Re: Screamer (PS5) - Finally, a Racing Game Doing Something Interesting
I miss Drive Club Forza 5 in on sale atm so I might check that out instead of this after reading about its controls.
Re: Crimson Desert Dev to Patch PS5 RPG's 'Uncomfortable' Controls
Ive hopped out of the game before I get any further, just until a few patches and updates have been made, good game but god damn its a clunky beast!

Re: Crimson Desert Release Times: When Can You Start Playing?
86Gb for the PS5, that is much smaller than I thought it would be! That's equivalent to RE Requiem, crazy for the amount of stuff thats packed into it
Re: PS5 Pro Firmware Update Adds PSSR 2 Upgrade to PS5 Games Today
Just sold on my base PS5 and managed to get a Pro over the weekend, so im excited to see the updates especially on my Requiem replay!

@Kienda my guy, Requiem has sold over 5 Million copies in its FIRST week alone, am gonna say a hell of a lot of the general public like Horror Games!
If it wasn't for GTA6 later this year, it's prob on track to be one the years biggest sellers
Re: Resident Evil 2 Director Says Requiem Needs a 'Non-Scary' Mode for Fraidy Cats Like Him
Resident Evil without the horror would be like a football game without the football..
