I'll die on this hill, but Returnal is still the best 1st Party game of this gen, for its creativity, visuals, gameplay.

It feels wrong to somehow play this game for "free" Its an incredible game and the devs deserve for people to actually buy it

@carlos82 This exactly how I felt! Loved 1 & 2, hated 3 and had very low expectations for 4, but theres been enough change to well.. everything! that im debating Day 1 for it.

Looks cool, and If it was free to play / try I would have given it a bash, but pvp extraction games are not my thing, so I wont be paying & playing! Hope it does well for them with the target audience they're aiming for though!

The Art style is great, the music is great, the hints of story / lore behind it are great, but all of it seems wasted on just a pvp extraction shooter.

If they ever bring out anything PVE / Single player mode i'd be there.

Ruiner was surprisingly awesome, checked out the Demo for this and yeh this super clunky and just not fun to play

Theres nothing actually really wrong with Veilguard tbh its a perfectly fine and fun game, a bit tedious with the awful marvel-esque character dialogue. But had a pretty good time with it really.

I just... dont believe this? The focus on AAA games only needs to die and quickly. Perhaps as a market leader Sony could have led the way and made more effort in developing better AA games with their Studios instead of chasing live service vaporware and over bloated AAA games.

If as they said, Indies replaced AA then why didnt they get Japan Studios developing fantastic indie games as a way of reacting to the market instead of shuttering a studio and wasting all that talent.

It gets a steady handed 7 from me. Good fun as always sniping Nazis but the maps are def not as epic in the main games which is absolutely fine, and its a bit gentler on the difficulty scale, all in all a good time is being had!
