..... I can not believe I am seeing people say 2027 for the PS6.
Naughty Dog and Bend haven't even released a game yet this generation. I shouldn't be surprised. The enshittificatiin of everything has lowered the standards and gamers have been conditioned.
The golden goose Tom Holland... what a joke. The dude is a poor actor, and is nearly the same in every movie. He is a middling Spiderman, and an awful Nathan Drake. I'm not sure why people enjoy him, as he's usually in the bottom 3rd of performers in the films he's in. Just because he was attached to the MCU he's garnered fame. Something Tobey, and Andrew didn't need. As they were just good actors.
MLB The Show is aging poorly. The Shows graphics are unacceptable at this point. DD & UT modes are ***** disgusting and are holding the genre back more than yearly releases.
The game is fun for sure. While it looks good, I feel it could graphically look better. But the city has to be hogging up memory... and the existence of the Series S.
But they will not rid the city, because it gives them a reason to kill the servers and force the MyCareer players to "upgrade" to the next game.
As you stated the MTX are absolutely disgusting and expensive. It's awful
Only Microsoft Xbox could be that tone deaf, and clueless. Game pass, & Series S. You created a lower end console a 3rd of the power of its higher end counterpart.
This is unbelievable. Sony is pushing Horizon hard. Too hard in my opinion. Horizon is bland, and missing the elusive "it" factor in my opinion. Sure it's stunning visually, and has an intriguing idea. But something is off. And I have no interest in a live service.
Live service will immediately put a bad taste in my mouth.
I understand the frustration. As we all want more 1st party games from PS. And I am not sure how this is "less exciting" than HZD. Because I'm pretty excited for this remaster. As I enjoyed the hell out of Days Gone far more than HZD. Yeah, I'd rather have a sequel. But I hope this means that some day we can get a continuation of this story.
@__jamiie Another what aboutism. This is about Microsoft gloating their "success" on other platforms.
It'd be one thing if the games they put on there were all long established Xbox IP. But most are not, and it's laughable.
Also, developers and publishers are not the same.
Yeah, you're right. We will see. Because to some fans like you, many of you like to lump Japan Studio's niche (but quality) products together as if they are on the level of a Halo, (which was bigger than COD at one point) Gears, Fable, and tanking a whole brand (which Xbox is arguably at its lowest point ever).
Talking to closed minded people like you isn't worth the time to type. Which will be my last to you.
@__jamiie Justify this misleading headline however you'd like. It's a evidence based fact. Microsoft bought 2 publishers to achieve this. You used a what about-ism regarding Sony. Without the Zenimax, and ABK acquisitions Xbox would be in a well earned free fall. Time will tell if MS nose dives ABK just like several of their other purchases.
Microsoft bought 2 Publishers in order to achieve this. Microsoft buys their success. I am not impressed by this fraudulent feat. PlayStation and Nintendo gamers buy and support games.
I refuse to touch this game after playing for dozens of hours on my Xbox. Not going near SoT again. SoT doesn't respect the busy gamers time. Between long voyages, accrued booty lost to griefers, and cheaters. No thank you.
Watch Dogs has earned a place alongside Assassin's Creed and Far Cry. It's crazy to think Ubisoft feels like they should create and announce 27 different AC titles, but allegedly have no plans after an okay WD: Legion. It's unbelievable.
Let's over saturate the market again with several AC, and FC titles. While Ghost Recon, and Rainbow 6 stagnate. And Splinter Cell has been absent for a decade. Jaysus, this is wild
I vehemently disagree about the gamepASS point. gamepASS is unsustainable, and bad for the industry. Think about Netflix, and how many subscribers they need. Now, think about how many subscribers gamepASS has and how insignificant it truly is, and how bad it is for the Dev's.
Especially considering that most of their alleged 18 million subs, paid 1 dollar for 3 year's. And some were even free in a box of Pop Tarts.
I do agree that PlayStation needs to be slightly more active. However, if you truly look at all of Xbox's talking. There is never anything of substance. They are all talk. "Biggest and Best this, Largest and most Powerful that", and its hardly ever true.
They went 4 years without any new AAA games! Ran Halo, Gears, and Forza in the ground yearly. Loaded with Micro-Transactions. When PlayStation or Nintendo speaks, generally there is something of significance there.
Xbox is all talk, flat out. Sure the Zenimax deal is big. But all it is, is a portal to try to get gamepASS on PS & NIN hardware.

We will see how long this lasts and if others follow suit. You can bet GTA VI will be more expensive than 69.99
