Re: Hands On: Marathon Is Dense, Demanding, and Drop Dead Gorgeous

@Weez there is no saving grace to this, movement does not make it easier to read anything on screen.

There is a reason why visual weight as a concept exists, it's not just so that it has always been done in one exact way, but because if you can't rest your eyes, can't gather information at a glance it becomes confusing and irritating even if it's just a still image. This can be great effect for stills, but if you are doing it in a competitive and interactive environment... It's a disaster.

Re: Major Monster Hunter Wilds News Expected Next Week

The only thing that could be major news is if they finally fix performance issues and make the late/endgame not toss. Little chance of that. Any other thing they do is just a bandaid and after the initial excitement people will leave in droves again.

Re: Preview: Avatar PS5 Is Transformed in Third-Person, Expanded in From the Ashes DLC

Yeah nah, the main campaign was agressively mediocre, trashy millennial writing, non-existent threat, empty one dimensional checkbox fulfilling bland characters, little enemy variety and weapon variety, absolutely abysmal upgrade system, useless hunting/gathering.

Nothing they did with the DLC's fixed anything with the core systems.

So no, nothing they add or change will fix this mess and I'd advise anyone to not buy this hot mess, even the trashiest FC episode runs circles around this travesty.

Re: ARC Raiders (PS5) - A Triumph in Multiplayer Immersion

This game is dog****. 99% of the gameplay is boring nothing then it's a dice drop of either you biting the dust with zero way of winning, or you steamrolling some idiots. Then there are the times when the arc swarms you and you literally have no way of surviving because they block all paths and simply mow you down the second you leave cover. What an amazing concept...
