I've never gotten around to watching Demon Slayer, and i would have been interested in this; but it looks like it'll be a ***** fighting game.

Struggling to see what is JRPG about it.

Absolutely love Judgment, and the main series, but this is so unnecessary. What is the point?

I appreciate that some people are entitled, and some people whine, but let's not paint everyone with the same brush. Like I said, the value you place on money is not always the same as the value that others do. You don't need to be on, or below, the poverty line to feel the weight of money. There are a plethora of reasons why someone can be tight on cash, but still manage to treat themselves, or their loved ones. Do I really need to go into that? But anyway, in regard to empathising with the consumer and the developers - those two things are not mutually exclusive. Let's have empathy for all.

@TheLightSpirit Have some empathy for others, please. 60 dollars might not be much to you, but it is to a lot of other people. Especially at a time when many are losing jobs and livelihood.

Had a £35 gift card to use, so I ended up getting Kentucky Route Zero, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Wandersong, Donut County, Gris, and What Remains of Edith Finch. Not bad, eh?

The Last of Us Part 2 in top stop, and following, in no particular order: Persona 5 Royal, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Ghost of Tsushima, and Doom Eternal. Easy really!

Great game and great review, although I'm not sure if the listed Cons deserve a docking of 2 full stars.

As a non-Plus user, I had no idea that some games were able to be played online without it. I even thought Fortnite required it. Are there other games that don't require one??

I never played Left Behind, so I'm wondering, what exactly happens at the end of it after Riley and Ellie wait to succumb to infection? Does it end on a cliffhanger like the article suggests, or does it show Ellie having to kill Riley and escape?

@carlos82 While I agree that people have a tendency to overreact and be hyperbolic, I think it's unfair to laugh at and attempt to illegitimise peoples' genuine concerns with the game. We're talking about a AAA title - one of the most anticipated remakes of all time, to be exact. I think that it is completely reasonable to hold Square Enix to a high standard here, and for that reason, it is reasonable that many people feel that they have completely missed the mark. Especially in areas where such a prestigious developer shouldn't. It also makes it easy for people to be cynical because of this - for example, some are suggesting that Square Enix are ruining the original's legacy, just out for a quick-buck, or acting against the consumer.

This thing is sick as f**k! Very bold move from Sony, after the standard Dualshock design being such a mainstay over the generations. I'm glad that they're taking risks and trying to innovate. Looks very futuristic. It was definitely a shock initially though!

This review had me laughing out loud at points. It's probably right to thank the developers, Granzella, along with the author for that.

I'm confused. I'll admit I don't know much about Twitter, but it seems that this article links to a tweet that has been shared 417 times. Not a tweet that has been shared "thousands upon thousands" as someone in the comments put it. I also don't see an account that has been made private. Am I missing something?

I'm curious as to how so many users in this thread claim to have played Replicant, if it was never released in the West. Japanese import?

The article states that "Square Enix and many others [are] giving away free games", but the link only directs to a Squenix sale, and doesn't mention these "others".

The only real solution that I can see is the formation of some sort of regulatory body that could find this unethical. Gamers will have no effect on this, because we are disgusted by it, and then buy the game anyway. Me included.
