The good news just keeps coming: Shadow of the Colossus has a confirmed release date. We're not sure why it wasn't mentioned during Sony's Paris Games Week 2017 press conference, but we'll take it.
The remake it due to launch on the 6th February for PlayStation 4, adding to an already packed first few months for the system.

Q1 2018 is packed with quality Japanese content. I wish they'd release stuff throughout the year instead.

That's earlier than I was expecting. Finding the time to play all the upcoming great games will be tricky.

Ive not played the game before, although have struggled to get into the last guardian. In spite of that, would I like this? The trailer looks wonderful.
It looks great, it really does. Personally, for me, after having bought and played through it multiple times on both PS2 and PS3, I just can't get excited for it, even with a shiny new coat of paint. Anyone else who hasn't played this though, don't miss out.

there's nothing else i really want before feb (except horizon dlc), so looks like this is my next purchase. my pre-order is in. hopefully i'll finish it this time!!

@get2sammyb I loved Ico and The Last Guardian and they were built on the relationship between the main character and Yorda and Trico. Does this have a similar mechanic?

Looks great. I played some of the PS3 version and couldn’t get into it. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.
I have beaten this a few dozen times on PS2 but am still hyped for this remaster. Already preordered on PSN.

@shafedog247 Agreed I could never beat the final boss in Heavenly Sword so I'd appreciate a remake.
Man! The first quarter of 2018 is looking pretty expensive. Monster Hunter World, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Shadow of the collosus, all released so close together. I'm really looking forward to this because I've never played the game on ps2. Looks amazing.

January is monhun time, february is sotc time. I hope gow, spiderman and detroid doesn't release on these month.
