I would love it if Megacat Studio released a Mega Drive/Genesis physical CIB version that I can buy from their website. I feel playing this with the good ole SEGA six button controller with text boxes and amazing 16-bit quality sound would be awesome.
MSFS is cool for the gamers that want it but there's just not much to do in it. Aces Of Thunder has missions and online dogfighting, which is fantastic.
The PSVR2 games I am looking forward to are Little Nightmares, Grimlord, Sword & Sorcery, Legendary Tales Castlevania update and old-school battlefield style game Forefront.
There's a much better shooter on the way for PSVR2. Forefront is a 32 player with cross-play battlefield style game. When is Push Square going to do articles about Forefront and inform readers?
@4fold There maybe a time in future when VR becomes mainstream, only if it ever gets to the point where it's as easy as wearing a pair of sunglasses. For the time being it will definitely remain a niche for the hard core enthusiast.
@4fold VR2 holds its own even after competitors have released minuscule updates for their products. The sense controllers, sense haptics, headset rumble, eye tracking and foveated rendering are still ahead of the competition while remaining affordable to the average punter. The PS5 Pro significantly boosts the graphical output to PSVR2, so PS6 should take it into the next gen just fine.
It's good to see an article about PSVR2 without the fake doom and gloom, a step in the right direction for Push Square. 👍
Now you need to follow up with articles about 32-player cross-play Battlefield style game Forefront, Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes, Aces Of Thunder, Blade & Sorcery, The Boys: Trigger Warning, Iron Guard Salvation, Unmourned, Automa, Legendary Tales Castlevania style update and much more.
@Shepherd_Tallon Also, by the time the game is fully patched it's heavily discounted. My discount is found in the bargain bin 2 or 3 years after launch. 🤣
I am not surprised by the way the industry is heading. The last game I bought at full price on launch was something like 3 years ago and I mostly just play through my backlog now. The majority are doing the same as me and the casuals still flock to a handful of GaaS crap.
Yeah, Sony need to forget about the petty mustard faces and just get back to making their console great again. We can safely say Xbox is dead now so they don't need to release their games on PC to compete with Microsoft anymore.
And this is what I knew would happen when they first announced digital only. Alan Wake was already a niche thriller game to begin with and cutting off potential customers was a massive mistake. It doesn't matter if your game reviews well, the negative reaction for 'no physical version' before release far outweighs the positive.
Xbox really isn't in a good position right now to demand people buy mediocre games or else they won't release more mediocre games. We don't even know if Hellblade 2 is going to be any good yet until they release it. 🤣
The game is trash, nobody cared when it released and still nobody cares now. Your review is an embarrassment and please stop trying to defend it in articles like this.
@thefourfoldroot1 I can't take anything Sammy says seriously anyway. We're talking about a guy that was praising that terrible GAAS dinosaur wave shooter (I have already forgotten the name it was that bad). 🤣
I think what happened he was known as the PSVR reporter/reviewer, so the PSVR2 job was just left on his desk one day because nobody else in the office was interested.
There has been 10 times more PSVR2 games in its first year compared to the entire PS5/XSX life.
I don't know guys. I still have my PS3 hooked up to the TV but whenever I go back to try games from that era it is mostly just boring brown/grey corridors, bad enemy AI, clunky controls and awful screen tearing. I am happy with my PS4 & PS5 games thanks. 🤣👍
Phil Spencer was most likely hoping the Bethesda/Activision purchases, gamepass debacle, US politician palm greasing and the long drawn out court process was going to end Playstation for good. I guess you will get Sony next time Phil, next time!. 🤣

@danzoEX Look up Forefront video's. It's like old-school Battlefield before EA ruined it.

PSVR2 & Portal will definitely be compatible with PS6 moving forward. I believe Sony made these devices premium and scalable for that reason.
