Fair play to Dead by Daylight. I find the game a bit toxic and complicated to enjoy as a newcomer, but it really has assembled an all-star cast of classic horror villains.

And it’ll practically complete the set on 16th June, with the addition of Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees as a DLC killer.

Obviously this character was the star of his own asymmetrical multiplayer game several years ago, but it was shut down for good in 2024.

That and a variety of complicated licensing issues have probably made it difficult to add the hockey masked maniac to Behaviour’s game.

But he’s almost here and fans are understandably freaking out.

If you don’t play Dead by Daylight then understand he’s joining a cast that already includes the likes of Leatherface, Pinhead, and Chucky. It really is the Super Smash Bros of schlock!
