@Dogbreath they are not license keys, they also allow you to install the games without an internet connection.
If you don’t like disc games and prefer digital that’s a you problem.

But they are not a waste nor unnecessary.

@LazyDaisy 2TB is not enough, specially if the console is going to be backwards compatible with PS5, they should include at least 4TB, it will be a next gen console after all.

I am struggling to have all my games with the internal 2TB from my Pro plus 4 extra from my SSD, and that’s only for my PS5 games, my PS4 games are installed on an external HDD alongside some PS5 games that I have stored there.

@nomither6 why not, Sony did the same many years ago and for a higher price point.

So this version not only won’t include two characters, but also won’t include the costume DLCs? Then what’s the point of this re release.

The real question here should be, why do you want a 2027 release? The potential of the PS5 has not been reached.

Their fault completely, if the game were great it should not have these problems. I don’t understand people blaming the players.

2028 sounds great for a PS6, 2029 would be a lot though. With how technology is taking more time to evolve than before it makes sense to have longer console generations.

@Max_the_German no one is going to be confused and buy the old version which is in a completely different storefront not accesible through PS4, PS5 not even PC or mobile, only available via PS3.

I hope Sony does not bend the knee to the weak minded and keep those minigames/scenes.

I was surprise to not see this game in yesterday State of Play especially since it was announced almost an exactly a year ago on another SoP.

4 characters per year seem too little for a 4v4 fighter, at least it seems the Season Pass is only going to cost $25, too bad it’s also only one new stage.

Sorry but this doesn’t look like Fire Emblem at all. Just because this is an anime inspired strategy RPG doesn’t make it similar to Fire Emblem. You are better calling Final Fantasy Tactics or Triangle Strategy Fire Emblem like.

Not that great of a sale at 15% but I am very tempted to buy Sword of the Sea.

Megaman is also coming as premium DLC.

• Another live service game after they confirmed they were stepping back from that.
• From the same studio that makes the main games.
• There is already another multiplayer spinoff in development by another studio.
• Artstyle totally different from the main games so it clashes.
• Sone of the character designs are Concord level horrendous.
• This game existing will delay they release of Horizon 3, in a generation with fewer release by the first party studios.

But yeah, let’s keep pretending people criticizing the are the problem, even when the comment section of this very site will prove you wrong.

@get2sammyb it’s not the same, those games had single player components and in most of them the si glue player was the main attraction, and none of those were like the current liver service games cancer.

The issue with these games is that they were a huge waste of money and specifically time, there have been far fewer games released by Sony studios this generation than the previous one.

Thank God. I was annoyed when the S2 version was announced with 60 FPS while this game is capped at 30 FPS even on the PRO.

I don’t want to sound like a hater but, the other one not made by Guerrilla looks better. The artstyle of this one is vastly different from the main games. This feels like a waste of time and they should be developing the third Horizon instead.

@DTfearTheBEARD yesterday I was speaking about this with a friend that wants to upgrade, but he has a Xbox One, and he wants to wait for next gen. I told him to not wait because we still don’t know when and prices are going to be high, instead I told him to buy a PS5 or XBSX at possible half the price or more of the next gen consoles.

I bought a PS5 since day one, and I also own a PS5 PRO since launch day and to me this is a really tacky move from Sony. If you are going to encourage PS4 users to upgrade at least offer them a discount or something.

And Reddit mods showing off how useless they are as always.

This is a stupid move from Take2 and Rockstar if true. It is not worth to delayed the game for possible spoilers of leaked copies.

And if they are doing it for people to double dip on digital and physical copies that is also stupid, there would be more people buying waiting and buying the game when it releases physically than the people that would double dip to not wait.

The fact that a name has been chosen, yet not revealed , is newsworthy is ridiculous to me.

This feels like those announcements for an announcement.

And everyone plus their mothers were swearing last week that this game was going to release this month.

I have been waiting a long time for this update and I am glad they are also updating the rest of the missing Far Cry Games.

Hopefully they do the same for the Watch Dogs games and the rest of the Assassin's Creed games.

And different publisher/developer but I would love to have the Dishonored games and Prey at 60 FPS.

These updates are a waste of time and resources.

It’s going to be forgotten by then. I don’t remember the Indiana Jones game winning anything despite it being praised a lot when it launched last December. The show should be hosted in January.

Also I don’t understand why the game was not elegible. In the Game Awards FAQ page it mentions the cutoff date being November 21 and the last episodes were released on November 12 so it should have been eligible.
