@playstation1995 I cannot disagree with your comment more. Nintendo produces original content. While I do not want to have a console war discussion, it's my perspective that Sony has copied many of Nintendo's ideas and there is plenty of proof to back that statement

@Adam47 since when did better graphics and being multi-platform equate to the quality of a game? Hint: the answer is never.

@get2sammyb 7 is an appropriate score for Days Gone. For me, the slightly frustrating part is that you can see the potential the game had. It could have been outstanding.

Wipeout is amazing. The PSVR mode is top notch also.

This is a good game that is consistantly getting better.

The option to send the audio to the TV instead of the controller is a huge upgrade. Those NERO audio files were so loud through the controller that it broke any immersion into the game, and you can barely hear anything else.

Has anyone see the latest run from Surrounded ? This guy's high score is at 77 million. It's crazy.

Yeah these patches are massive but fortunately I have the space and the desire to keep playing. Most of us have finished the story by now so the stat boosting patches don't really help but the challenges have been fun. They also provide an extra incentive to those that have not picked up Days Gone yet. I thought I would set the game aside after completing the story, as the game drags on too long for my tastes. But the weekly updates have kept Days Gone in my rotation of games currently being played. It's on sale for $40 now, in the States at least.

This is shaping up to be an amazing experience for MH fans. I'm hoping the remaining fated four monsters will also be included. Regardless, I'm stoked to fight these new, and returning, monsters
Also, the developers just announced that they are bringing all 5 of the seasonal celebrations back to lead into the release of Iceborne. So many more fireworks for me!

Sand Barioth in the desert zone would be awesome! He would create these sand tornadoes in previous games that was very entertaining to fight against.

I'm enjoying the challenge although I'm not very good at it. High score around 30,000 thus far. Looking forward to the bike challenges the most. And as the article states, free DLC is always appreciated especially in this era of gaming.

@seanobi I agree with those criticisms but you didn't mention any positives. There are things that the game does well also.

I am absolutely stoked to play this but committed to finishing a few other games before buying any more.

I can't speak for the majority of gamers but if I believe most of us don't care which one is more powerful. It's all about the games and Sony is the leader in quality exclusives. That will likely continue with the next generation.

I picked up NBA2K19 for $3. Not sure when I'll get around to actually playing it, but I couldn't pass up that deal.

I hardly ever play the monthly free games but Sonic Mania will be my jam tomorrow

I love these colors but controllers are just too expensive for me to buy one based on anything other than need.

@BezBot I paid $45 for a year of online access, ps plus sales, exclusive content as well as at minimum 24! "free" games. If I have to break down the math for you as to why I said these games are essentially free, let me know.

I'm very happy about this month's offerings. Then again, I'm always happy to receive what is essentially free stuff. June's games are exceptional though and I will certainly play the heck out of BL and Sonic.

@playstation1995 gangstarr was my hunter name in Generations so they're up there for me too. Gotta say though I think EPMD is overrated. I'd throw Jay-Z and Eminem in there but I like your East Coast flavor.

Sad to see this franchise flame out. Travis Touchdown has so much potential as a world building character but this went south after the first two games.

So much for longer time between updates! But this is excellent news. I've shelved the game while I move and will benefit from these patches without experiencing the bugs and glitches. Thanks Bend!

Thank you for a thorough review. Castlevania is one of my favorite franchises in gaming , but I am disappointed at some of the excellent games that didn't make it into this collection. The GBA and DS ones are excellent. Here's hoping for V2, with the "Metroidvania" games represented. I would love to see a complete collection some day. That would be glorious.

It looks fun. Likely pick it up at a bargain price eventually.

Surprised that I'm the first person to say Monster Hunter World
I'm struggling to beat AT Nergigante but it feels good playing this game again.

A demo never does this game justice as the depth really opens up at high rank. When I see MHW on sale for $20, I say to myself, "how can anyone pass that up?" It's a value and quality in line with Horizon Zero Dawn complete at $15. AT Nergigante tomorrow!!! Icebourne in a few months!!! Good times. Happy hunting!

Congratulations Bend Studios! I'm curious how Days Gone has been selling in Murica. This game will continue to sell well, in my opinion ironically in part because of a couple of trash reviews. Free publicity is a good thing. Deacon out.

I'll jump back in as soon as we get new content. AT Nergigante and Icebourne can't come soon enough. MHW is my favorite game this generation. Capcom did amazing work here.

Some people are hating on Bend Studios. I'm impressed with their response time and am enjoying the game. I haven't experienced any major glitches or crashes. Sounds to me that my experience is shared by the majority of gamers that are playing Days Gone.
