The ps3 remaster of San Andreas was good, but it lost that sort of orange hue that made it feel like a 90s West Coast music video or something. Hopefully they can keep that sort of colour scheme and make it looks as smooth as the ps3 remaster at least. If they can at least manage that and some small improvements I might be interested in this.

Best play it before then, then. I saw a video where the ball was flying through the air and straight up stopped and then fell on the spot, though haha The visual bugs are funny, but stuff like that is absolutely ridiculous as you can't know if you've lost or won fairly.

@RubyCarbuncle That's what I thought when I read the first part. Though, that game wasn't massive. Also, it looks like it will be something else probably.

@RobN Yeah, I found quite early on sometimes higher level players drop in and smash everything for you haha I explored Dragonspine before Liyue (haven't done anything in the latter except making the map visible), have it at 80% complete but having trouble doing the story mission that will get rid of the wind in the centre. Also have the same sort of percentage in all the Mondstat places. Then I did main quest and everything melted haha I still haven't done the dungeons for the weapon level Ascension stuff, though.

Yeah, I was going to try downloading it on my phone but I figured it would be pretty poor compared, too.

@Ward_ting Was going to make a comment about it looking more like what I'd hoped the first and second Jovovovovovovich movies would be, so personally I wanna see this. Surprised they're not going for a later october release, though. Probably too many other horrors to compete with.

@Integrity It wasn't a bad version of the song, but it should have been the amazing 90s house version known to be on the he-man meme video. I still occasionally put that video on when drunk enough.

@RobN I played this on my pro all yesterday. Finally got a bit more hooked, unlocked a few more characters, too. Also, managed to fix my base ps4 after the 9.0 update just now, so happy days. Guess Sony will leave Mihoyo to sort the problem, though because they're slack af atm.

More importantly where is the update for the ps4? It's been over a couple weeks with the not-so-stable update. Sony are getting a bit too big for their boots tbh.

@ATaco The adventure in Ultimate was fantastic, all the stage variants and hazards, costumes, trophy assists and music made it unbeatable even if copy cat games came along, such as this. I didn't expect it to come close but getting the combat great is probably 70% of what's needed... The other stuff is easy. I can't understand how they would fail to polish it. I think it would be more worth your time to put that 40 quid towards a 2nd hand Switch and then find a cheap copy of Smash then buy something that is half baked.

Well, it has to be better than the VR title but that doesn't set the bar much more than an inch above ground. Probably not for me if it's another Dead by Daylight type thing.

@Integrity That's probably it, I was on base ps4 when I played. The tougher fights at the end drove me nuts when I was trying to 100% everything. I did every crime in progress both halves of the game and it felt draining. Would like to play it again new game plus and skip most of the side content, though.

@Integrity Have to disagree. Spider-Man had nearly as many collectables as Far Cry 5. You don't have to get them, but even for those with OCD you can buy maps for all the collectables when you find the associated missions. Also, I think with Spider-Man it was worse because of the crimes in progress that radio in. Until late game they take a considerable chunk of time to tackle and then all the other things you need to do to 100% each area also has big big fights, so it became a massive chore for me and Far Cry 5 felt less so. I just turned up and quickly blasted everyone grabbed whatever it was then went on with my game. Helicopters made everything a cakewalk and I was able to snipe and kill big groups of enemies with the bear/cougar. It was just all so much quicker to move from area to area.

The Netflix show must have been directed by Guy Marvel. It best contain the scene you helped shoot in Far Cry 5.

I bought a 360 for the exclusives back in the day but never managed to get this one, though I had heard of it. Wasn't planning on getting full price by any means. Will take me some dat Nick Cave soundtrack, though. Tupellooooooooo!

@somnambulance The universe decided to keep in line with the games atmosphere and slipped it into another reality. Hate it when that happens.

I have 3 of the Sword Art games (2 vita ports and the cross plat title) but probably not going to invest in Tales. My flashdrive turns up tomorrow anyway so I'll know if I can fix the HDD on my old ps4s hdd sony broke. >_>

@NickTheGeek What is a cat 6? At first I imagined a little feline sized bump moving around your carpets haha Yeah, we have 18mbps (with fibre, believe it or not!) If I ran LaN cable but it's like 3 walls and a whole lot of cable wall clips to nail in so I've just kinda dealt with it. I always have just enough to play online now, but I remember the days I didn't haha

I would usually vote positively if there was a single game I like and if this was any month other than October I would have just selected "meh" even though there's nothing I want. However, the fact we didn't get a single proper horror makes me vote "crap" on this occasion. Happy to voice my distaste and all you who don't like that know what you can do

@Flaming_Kaiser Well, honestly, with a game like Death Stranding I would like a demo. A lot of people said it was boring and not so much a game, I watched a bit of footage and it looked that way. Yet, here it is with a new director's cut and selling well, so it may well be more fun to experience first hand. I won't know because the time starts from the moment you begin the download, not when it's playable. As a result I can't be convinced and I probably won't get the game. This is theoretical, anyway, because I'm using a ps4 pro, not a ps5. Just saying, it could be that way for a lot of people. If they're going to try this sort of thing, mightas well get it right.

@Xaessya I didn't think about it before but... If it IS a remake of MGS3 that is in the works then we can have Snake Vs. Monkey from the Subsistence disc, at least.

@GADG3Tx87 I got the online trophies in Mercs 2 via LAN play and 2 ps3s. You could try that if you have a co op partner.

@Deadhunter My only complaints are that the enemies weren't clever enough to climb scenery (but there were few points where this really made it immersion breaking) and that there were no underwater combat sections. The harpoon did nothing so you just had to avoid the enemies.

So, not purchasing anything until either my ps4 is fixed or they compensate me and I won't be adding any of this. Back log time this month! No problems, got a few games indeed.

I have a fondness for FF 13 so gave it an 8. 13 2, however... I at first thought 6.5 but then I realised there only like 3 parts of the game that I remember at all and I remember them just being "Good". So then realised I had to round it down, it's avout as good as Dirge of Cerberus lol 9, 10, 10-2 and 12 I have started before but yet to finish. 8 was good, but I give it the same score as it's number. 7 will forever be my favourite and a 10/10.

Would be interested in Dreams but currently not purchasing anything from Sony. Those 9.0 update rumours turned out to be true for me. Updated my old base ps4 (which I had listed to sell on) and it gave me an error code, froze my menu and now won't turn on. I have tried everything except reinstalling the old 8.52 as my only usb reader is too big for those stupid front 2 usb ports. Unfortunately the base ps4 also doesn't have a back one. Until I get this fixed or some sort of compensation if I can't, I won't be buying anything from Sony again.

Jurassic World Evo isn't part of this sale actually. It ended earlier than the other titles.

Surprising how many golf fans are here, but at least some people will get something from this. The rest of us will no doubt be adding nothing. If it had been MK11 I could have maybe enticed my couple gamer friends to come round for a drink (even though one just got a new job and 1 promoted) but I already have MKX from the collection and everyone has played it to death. Tbf, every month I have added 1 or more games but I was really looking forward to October and they couldn't offer us a single horror? Should have held off on the Days Gone/Zombie Army month and offered this stuff back then, at least.

Saw Judgment in CeX about 10 months ago or so and was curious as I hadn't heard of it before. When I knew it was a Yakuza spin off I pretty much lost interest. Never had any real interest in those games. Is there something more unique to this series, though?

Whole thing narrated by one man? Does that mean character speech, too?

@The_Pixel_King Hollow Knight was ps+ this year, I believe or maybe the end of last year. Possible it will be on sale soon ish, though.

The SNES version was better tbhm let's face dem fax. I loved it as a kid. The genie level after the cave with the brass soundtrack was my favourite I think. Was tough as a kid but me and my sister managed to make it to Jafar now and then.

@Bartig Yeah, the ps2 ones I had were Rayman Revolution/3, Ratchet and Clank 1/2/3/4/5, Jak and Daxter 1/2/3, Legend of Kay, SpongeBob the Movie, Spyro 4/5 and Anubis II. Only just recently played through Psychonauts HD as well. Pretty dark, that one. On my to do list of that era cartoon like platformers are Blinx, Dr. Muto, Voodoo Vince, Scaler, Haven and the Sly Trilogy. If you know of any other ps2/xbox ones let me know. We could also include wii I suppose but there are probably far too many on that platform. XD
