So, locate the defect, repair and clean? Exactly what happens when you send your console in for repairs... Don't get why people are fretting. They probably just push out a new console for the customers that sent in for repairs that aren't quickly repairable. It's good they take the time to repair them eventually and don't bin them.
@LavenderShroud Yeah, if the files ever were to get deleted, you still wouldn't own anything, disc or no disc. For a while now I've been keeping a list of my digital purchases, should they ever disappear from my account somehow.
Viva la revolution. Seems reasonable, it's overdue that the artists, designers and coders (You know, people who actually do most of the work) get paid more for their labour and treated like actual humans.
@Gaia093 Genshin started like that, but just like it, Zenless will probably grow into multiple events, lots of characters (Making it harder to get the one you want) and plenty of side content.
@Scottyy Wouldn't Dragon Age be a better comparison? FF VII is more of a slow down than pause. If they implement slow mo, I'd be veeeeeeery impressed haha
Was it announced you can't switch characters? I can't recall, but it certainly will be less engaging if you can't and I can see that here. Everything looks mid, but this will be the last in the series, right? I may finish it if so, as I was vaguely interested in seeing what Elfy man got upto later on.
Fair that he actually doesn't just bs everyone, but from his statement, it sounds like he would do 0 for charity, regardless of how much he had. So, also sounds like a bit of dic (I'm talking about the entertainment company, of course).
So, it's a bit like Twilight Princess in that you get 2 different realities with a similar layout? Sounds cool, but these games take either a lot of money or 7 years of your time to finish, I never got past Inazuma because I was always kept busy hunting chests and doing side content, trying to level and WITH spending real money here and there, too. It started to get difficult and I started to get burned out and never returned.
@Colour Agreed, the War Table was fun, but if you were trying to maintain it perfectly like myself, it became a really big chore. There were a few fetch quests as well, but I guess I didn't mind at the time, as it wasn't a big negative in my mind.
@Lup I'm sorry, what? I really don't think I've ever heard anyone say they prefer 2 over Origins. Origins Ultimate is probably one of my favourite games of all time.
Well, I wouldn't have expected that, purely because of how rushed and bad DA2 was. What a way to stick it to the fans. However, I was pleasantly surprised with Inquisition. Not sure I'd play it a second time, but I really enjoyed my 100% run in the game. The combat was just as good as ever IMO, but a little more focused on keeping you in the action. I think it deserved a GotY for sure.
@Jill_Sandwich Clock Tower 3 was fantastic, but I always preferred Haunting Ground, completed that one a few times. As for this, I'll probably stick with the SNES version myself, it plays just fine with the mouse accessory.
@Th3solution AHH, didn't get that myself, but you bring me back! I completed Puppeteer with my ex playing as the helper, it was a great experience! I was playing Plucky earlier and actually thought it could have easily have had a drop in/out 2 player mode, too.
@Jacko11 That's an argument of false equivalence. Most people require a phone to remain social and maintain their livelihood, as well as have security in emergencies. I don't think you could argue you need your big headed plastic figures for any of that... Also, just because we may be supporting one unethical thing, it doesn't mean we may as well support all of them.
@Jacko11 We probably live in a hate culture because big corporations like Funko choose to bury their stock instead of give them out to poorer children in 3rd world countries because money. Maaaaaybe have a look at why a company is generally disliked more than others, it's usually deserved.
@Mikey856 I was scratching my head and honestly could only think of the ps5's pretty garbage looking ray tracing, but that's what you're upgrading for? Guess money is no object for you 😆
Every real musician gets the offer of pay in exposure when they start. Every. Single. One of us. Quite troubling it's got to the point that more successful artists are starting to get these kind of offers again. I got tired of "exposure pay" a long time ago and moved on to other ways to make money from music.
You have to weigh it up... Is it worth your time to give an already successful song over indefinitely to this company for 4 months minimum wage? Probably not!
I literally saw the end of my trophy hunting days just a couple weeks ago TBH. I've turned off notifications for them and vowed to never look at my list again. It doesn't exist to me anymore and I'm very glad I did, because I did a grind a little like this for Knockout City. Day after day of playing catch or something equally silly, then having to connect my PS4 to my phone for a broken trophy and then grind away vs. bots and busing crossplay off functions. In retrospect, I didn't really have any fun, other than when I was playing real matches vs. nice players (Had some people who would throw you off to win MVP and such). It must have been nothing but a chore and it's shocking how quick this game died.
I've recently totally legally procured all the DS, 3DS, SNES/Mega Drive games I have any interest in (and some 2 player stuff that I wouldn't play alone). There are certainly a lot of places they're competing with that give these games for free (That I DEFINITELY never used), so I'm not sure how this will gain popularity. The real problem I have with these Minis/Services are the total lack of improvement... Anyone ever tried playing Spawn or Super SWIV/Firepower 2000 on the SNES? Good luck! I added extra life cheats and romhacks to all the 2 player games for SNES so far (nearly 130 on my Hakchi mini) and they're a lot more fun that way.
TL/DR: Nobody plays most of these games for more than 5 minutes because they're just a pile of frustration and they're offered free on the net.
@RoomWithaMoose I loved Alien Isolation (STILL disappointed they never added the VR), but I don't think the AI is as amazing as you describe. The NPC is hilarious to kill because it's so stupid and I always easily evaded the Alien (In hard mode first time) by hiding under a trolly or something equally flimsy. The alien has a tendency to haunt the same area for a while, or double back on itself to try and catch you off guard, but I realised that straight away. You can also lead all the androids around like lambs to slaughter at the bridge area. It's a good game, with good AI, but not a high bar.
I do like the newer IPs, but you point it out yourself, Last of Us took any chance of Sly Cooper away and Ghost of Tsushima will no doubt be the vision of the future now. Many of the charming action platformers and oddball titles we loved are gone and that is that. It would have been nice to see more balance, but I'm betting Astro will be our last look in to Sony games, other than high-budget AAA action or online multiplayer titles now. We will see Astro again on Ps6, perhaps... Or maybe never again, depending on how this one sells.
@cburg Sure, if they outright buy Sony, but they won't be able to do that. Their last console was the lesser owned and it's arguably that their current one outright failed, they should have tried harder with Games for Windows instead of pushing the console market TBH.
@AhmadSumadi I was one of them on PS4. They really shove it in your face on that console and it triggered my OCD for a long time, so I stopped playing. The interface of the PS5 is much nicer as it hides them unless you hover over individual games. It's much less an itch now for me, I only bother doing them for games I want to.

Lol! More like Vacation Prison for those that want this. You'd probably be better off with an escort, might cost the same with the DLC. 😆

@Balosi AFAIK the game should be fine if you don't update it, you just won't be able to do anything online at all.

@BoldAndBrash He definitely was not.
