@NinjaWaddleDee I want to play it on the Switch. If it was a locked PS4 exclusive, I'd get for PS4, but if it's a timed one, as it seems to be the case, I'll get it for the Switch. It's not like I don't have games to play, since Persona 5 and Zelda: Breath of the Wild are consuming all my free time.
@KratosMD I only want Persona 5 this year and since I already played Persona Q, I recently watched the Persona 3 Movies and I'm playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE to get in the mood. I also play them on the easiest setting so I can enjoy the story and its characters.
@get2sammyb From what I've seen so far it seems to be. However, over here, the vanilla PS4 costs R$1.500 (around U$450) and the Pro costs between R$2.500-R$3.000 (around US750-900). So, considering I don't own a 4K tv and that I bought one 55'' this year, I'm really on the fence. Hopefully, black friday will have some good deals.
I don't own a PS4 yet, so I'm really thinking about going straight to the Pro. However, the price gap between the base model and the Pro is a lot larger over here, so I'm keeping my options open. In the end, I'm going to wait until black friday before making any decisions.
@JaxonH @Gamer83 I completeley agree with you. Both Tomb Raider's games excell at gameplay and even if the presentation of Naughty Dogs' games is better, the replayability of Tomb Raider is awesome. It's one of my favourite games this generation along with Bayonetta 2.
I think this will be the game to make me get a PS4. Insomniac is super talented and their work on Sunset Overdrive was amazing. I actually got a Xbox One because of that game and I think history is about to repeat. On the plus side, I'll get to decide if I want the regular PS4 or Neo.
It's not Valentine's Day on Brazil, so I'm good. Also, really happy that it's still coming for PS3, so I'll be able to actually play it without having to upgrade.
@JaxonH I'm actually really excited to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, but I played Persona before and I love ATLUS' games. I'm looking forward to playing Persona 5, but I hope they also release the PS3 version over here. I don't want to buy a PS4 just for this, but I know I will if I have to...
@TeslaChippie I agree with you. I think that Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider are some of the best games of the genre and way better than Uncharted.
@get2sammyb I really loved everything about Life Is Strange, specially the ending. I discovered Foals and it became one of my favorite bands thanks to Life Is Strange. Such a special game and one of my favorites across all platforms.
It's the weakest Telltale game, but I played only The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. Game of Thrones is good, but I think my familiarity with the show hurt my enjoyment of the game a bit. I really think that my complete lack of knwoledge about Borderlands will make me enjoy Tales from the Borderlands more. Having said that, the episodic game of the year, for me, is Life Is Strange.
@themcnoisy I agree with @get2sammyb, you should get Life Is Strange First. Also, between Beyond and Heavy Rain, I'd play Heavy Rain first as I think the story is more engaging.
I just finished it last night and I saw both endings and they are brilliant. There's no right choice in the end and you feel bad no matter what you choose, but both endings really deliver.
The film released the year I was born. I'm definetely feeling a bit old. Bought the game on PS3 when it was 0.99 in a flash sale, but never played it. I love the films and telltale, so I think it's about time to give it a go.
I was playing Splatoon on Wii U, the GameCube version on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on Wii and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops on PSP. However, Rare Replay arrived today and nostalgia kicked in big time, so I'll play Banjo-Kazooie for the rest of the weekend.
@themcnoisy Everthing that @Storytime7 is spot on. I got a New 3DS and I enjoy all the little upgrades that it has, but you can enjoy most games on the regular. The C-Stick is actually good when you get used to it. If you like the 3D effect, it's a HUGE improvment over the regular model as it's VERY stable. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is also a blast to play on the go.
@themcnoisy Remember that 3DS is backwards compatible with very few exceptions, like the games that also needed the GBA slot. Like @Storytime7 said, it has some great JRPGs, great Nintendo games and other excellent games too. It's definetely worth a shot.
Also, the lack of backwards compatibiliy open the path for PS3 users to upgrade to Xbox One instead of PS4 as there is no real advantage to brand loyality, since even the remasters aren't discounted for people whom already bought them on the Plyastation Sotre.
@JaxonH Completely agree with you. If they want people to pay to RENT old games with PS Now, then backwards compatibily must be something a lot of people use and Sony is aware of that...
@JaxonH Completely agree with you. MS did some work to get people excited about Xbox One and have a lot of games coming soon. Rare Replay was a nostalgia bomb and it was great to know it will be coming the month of my birthday. Backwards compatibility was pretty good as there's a chance I get to experience a lot of games I didn't get to play, as I never owned a Xbox 360. Tomb Raider look incredible and I'm really excited about it. Sony did an amazing press conference, and I think it was better than MS. However, they still didn't sell me on a PS4, but made me really excited to play Final Fantasy VII on Xbox One at a later date. Oh yeah, the best announcement for me was FF VII remake and as it's only a timed exclusive, I don't have to worry too much about getting a PS4. However, as it's a remake from Square Enix, it will be a LONG wait until it's released... The Last Guardian and Shenmue 3 were huge surprises. I never played a Team Ico game and never played a Shenmue game, but I always read about them, so it's really good to see that they'l see the light of the day. Shenmue is also far away, but at least The Last Guardian is expected for next year. The thing that lacked on Sony's conference was some announcement for some games to be released this year, as the schedule seem filled with 3rd party games that can be played on Xbox One. I'd be REALLY happy if they gave us the release dat of Person 5... As for the Nintendo Digital Event, I thought it was underwhelming. There was no real showstopper and a LOT of the games we knew about before. It's good to know some of the release dates and that we are getting a few good games this year but it was a bit disapointing. I'm looking forward to Starfox and I liked Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam a lot, but I wanted to be surprised. I think even a confirmation of the localization of Dragon Quest VII and VIII would be better than some things that we saw. They could cut some of the repeated games and show that The Great Ace Attorney or Theathrhythm Dragon Quest would also be localizes. Some more information on Bravely Second, I don't know, something else...
Overall, I think Nintendo did a poor presentation, even though it focused on a lot of upcoming games that are very near, which is good. Sony did a great presentation, but a lot of the games are far away or are not exclusive, which is not that great and MS did a more balanced conference, showing stuff that are coming soon but also a lot of things down the line.
I really liked the conference. It was the best of this year for sure. I didn't really watch any E3 conferences before (always get my news on the web), so I can't say it was the best of all time. For me the highlight was definetely the announcement of FF VII remake, specially since it's only a timed exclusive. But, even though I never played Shenmue and Team Ico's games I'm really glad that The Last Guardian was shown and that Shenmue 3 is happening. I may not want to buy a PS4 right now, but the conference delivered big.
I never owned a Xbox 360, so it was pretty exciting for me, along with that Rare collection. I'm really curious to see Sony's response. I really hope they don't spend a lot of time with Project Morpheus...
Since I, as a kid, always opened my gifts earlier I really like these premature announcements. I got all my E3 coverage on the internet, so it's good to be able to see something a bit sooner. And, as @get2sammyb pointed out, there is more time now to digest all the news. Having said that, this must be the 3rd article that I read today regarding these early leaks, so I guess that a lot of people must be really bothered about it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation on Vita. I managed to play a bit of Mario Kart 7, Smash Bros for 3DS and Resogun on Vita, because I wanted a little break from the other 2.
After finishing Assassin's Creed 3 on Wii U, I'm playing Liberation on Vita and it's pretty good so far. I'm also playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and I love it!
Just finished Ghost Trick, so now I'll be playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D a lot more. If I can manage, Assassin's Creed 3 and DmC are my other options.
@JaxonH I completely agree with everything you said. I just don't get why people obsess so much about sales and want all 3 consoles to succeed. @sinalefa I recently got and Xobx One and didn't regret it at all. Sunset Overdrive is great and most multplats work really well. If I get a PS4, it'll probably be by the end of this gen, when Persona 6 will be released or I'll wait for PS5 and get all the remasters of PS4. I also am trying to limit my purchases because I don't have time to play it all. The sole exception is the 3DS, where I get and play almost everything that's released.
@rjejr The Last Guardian was announced in 2009, but there were hints of it in 2008. @ztpayne7 I'm still looking forward to play this game, but I'm much more excited about Persona 5 and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I have tons of plans but I will end up just playing Persona 4 Golden as I'm reaching the final months on my second playtrhough. I'll also fire up Code Name STEAM which is great after the update. I wante to start TellTale's Game of Thrones before the premiere tomorrow, but I think it's a lost cause, as I also want to watch more of Daredevil.
I always go back to The World Ends With You. Once a year i replay it. Other games that I go back to are: Persona 4 Golden, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid (original and Twin Snakes) and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Some games that I go back from time to time are Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and Chrono Trigger. Recently, I play some songs of Theathrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call every week because it's very addictive and some courses from Mario Kart 8 and some stages from Bayonetta 2.

Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One.

@starhops Every Persona game tell an idependent story. There are some nods for past games, but they are not required for understanding the story.
