About how we feel

Another week, another edition of WAYP, another attempt at an "original" introduction. What Are You Playing This Weekend may be a popular feature here on Push Square, but by goodness, you try coming up with a new pre-amble each and every week. Perhaps we should hold some kind of competition for this – this author's fresh out of ideas.

My Bloodborne addiction is beginning to become a bit of a problem. While I'm thoroughly enjoying the game, I'm kinda looking forward to the end – just so that I can divert my attention elsewhere. I will not rest, however, until every Pthumeru nasty has been purged.

Having not played any traditional Japanese role-playing games for a long while, it's quite refreshing to get stuck into Suikoden. I'm almost ashamed to admit that Konami's series has passed me by completely, but I intend to rectify that by ploughing through the first and second titles on my Vita. I might even review them, if you're lucky.

After two long years away, I've finally found myself dragged back into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. With the big expansion Heavensward arriving in June, I've got two months to finish nearly all of the current game content. It all should go according to plan as long as I can stay out of the Gold Saucer.

This weekend, I'm writing about and trying to figure out the complexity behind US law in regard to video games and rights of publicity. Sounds fun, right? Unfortunately, I've discovered that writing about video games isn't always a joy. Regardless, I will spread out this work by playing some more Bloodborne this weekend and Ghost Recon Future Soldier campaign co-op with a friend.
