This game, shadow of Mordor and metal gear five were the first games I bought on PS4. Bless Nintendo for royally screwing me over forcing me to leave the perfect company for the evil empire aka Sony. Never knew what I was missing out on.
@get2sammyb Double the sales from the previous week sounds like a lot of new interest in the console doesn't it? A company can really sell the hype if they statistically sold double this week than the previous week. Perhaps they can finally close the gap that is the PS4. The PS4 lost sales whereas the Xbox doubled sales.
@dark_knightmare2 A microtransaction riddled game with pay to win mechanics gets an eight out of ten. It's a bit of an insult to genuine good games with the same score don't you agree?
@Bonbonetti Yes, it's the .hack/recode series. The world design is very bland so far, combat hasn't been very fun yet, and I'm about ten hours in. It has a lot of cutscenes, and even then the plot seems to be a bit slow. I also do not like the main character so far. First impressions aren't that great, but everybody swears it's a good title.
@toffeecrit BOTW was not what I was looking for in a Zelda game. I imagined that I would find real dungeons out in the wild, find items to help traverse the world, and experience a real story with the announcement that it would feature voice acting. I found the dungeons to all be small and mediocre, the items weren't as valuable as the ball of chain, spinner, and the hookshots would have been, the enemy variety was too bland for this entry, and all the characters I would have cared about were all dead, with the exception being the gorons. They were cool. I don't know, everything just seemed pointless.
I was conflicted on the last question. It was because of konamis insistence to have lootboxes and pay to save that makes the game itself deserve the hate and makes it a stain on a great franchise. Let me pick both.
@JoeBlogs I don't really care about who beat who, what I care about is that perfect score across the board for what I felt was a mediocre Zelda game. I was a Nintendo fan first, and so I should prove I have no bias.
@Neolit How so? The dungeons were a downgrade, the story, somehow, was a downgrade, the combat was a downgrade, and the enemies were a downgrade. Rewards were mediocre, and it was plagued with technical issues. I don't understand why they turned weapons into glass and why they decided to make rain completely halt my progress for twenty minutes at a time. It was one of my least favorite Zelda games. Where's the ten?
@JoeBlogs Even then I still felt like horizon was a better game than Zelda. These people just seem to have a weird fetish toward this game. Zelda for best sound? Something was up.
It's very obviously a cash in. They designed it like a mobile game full of mindless button mashes and microtransactions galore. Only EA can eclipse them in their laziness and greed.
@Gamer83 Hey, a game with tons of monsters, quests, and loot and without lootboxes is a very big deal. It'll be interesting to hear who bought monster Hunter.

Re: Japanese Sales Charts: Monster Hunter: World Tops for 5 Straight Weeks on PS4
@Derpie1 whispering, "I'm just trolling"
The PS4 obviously sold more. Just using faulty logic for funsies.
Re: March PlayStation Plus Games Announced
@Ridwaano Nah man, it's a decoy for when they announce ratchet and clank 2!
Re: March PlayStation Plus Games Announced
You know it's a great month when I already own both.

Re: Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Looks Like a Tactical PS4 RPG to Keep an Eye On
Daffy duck and porky pig? Sold!
Re: Prices Cut on Acclaimed PS4 Titles in NA PlayStation Store Sale
@Neolit I heard it was really good, but EA deliberately screwed over the developers to kill them. I'd give it a shot.
Re: SEGA Accidentally Released Yakuza 6 in Full on US PlayStation Store Instead of Demo
@Tsurii Problem was, the game was trash. Color trash that is.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: Monster Hunter: World Tops for 5 Straight Weeks on PS4
@Derpie1 A console that sold double from the previous week is quite significant wouldn't you say?
Re: SEGA Accidentally Released Yakuza 6 in Full on US PlayStation Store Instead of Demo
Nuts! I had to fix my car instead and so I had no time.
Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn Sells a Stunning 7.6 Million Units
That's a million copies for every year they worked on it.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: Monster Hunter: World Tops for 5 Straight Weeks on PS4
Is nobody here going to talk about the 100% increase in Xbox one sales?
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 is 'Even More Ambitious' Than The Witcher 3
I'm more excited about this than rdr2.
Re: Unbelievable Breaking News: The Battlefield 2018 Reveal Trailer Is Underway
No. It would seem like we'd learn after the last two hundred disappointments.
Re: Bethesda Softworks Was 2017's Best Publisher, According to Metacritic
It probably helped to re-release Skyrim. Nevertheless, they had some good new titles as well.

And survive got an eight. 🤔
Re: Josef Fares' A Way Out Has Gone Gold
It's being published by EA. You can imagine how I feel about that.

Looks to me like somebody got paid.

Finished shadow of the collosus, and so I'll go back to .hack.

@toffeecrit Persona 5 for me. Bloodborne probably as my all time favorite.

@toffeecrit Why?

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn Comes Top in Two Categories at DICE Awards 2018
@Derpie1 I think the issue with Mario kart winning is because it's just a port. It's not a new game.

Re: Furries in Frenzy as SEGA Lines Up Sonic the Hedgehog Feature Film
I'd love a Whitehead figure also working on the movie and watch as the lower budget movie get more praise and sales than the big block buster.

Aha! Another payment method for EA to utilize; pay to enter.
Re: Soapbox: Why Burnout Paradise Makes Perfect Sense as EA's First Remaster

No. Maybe for the two million though. I have way too many games right now.
Re: January 2018 NPD: PS4 Drives Most Revenue as Monster Hunter: World Dominates
It pleases me to no end to see battlefront 2 slipping from the top ten.

Re: Soapbox: Why Burnout Paradise Makes Perfect Sense as EA's First Remaster
@Tasuki I'm betting EA will have some kind of "game service" in this one even if they don't call it microtransactions anymore.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: Nothing Can Stop Monster Hunter: World, Now Closing in on 3 Million
@Feena It's just a port so no surprises there.
Re: Not Even EA's Greedy Enough to Add Microtransactions to Burnout Paradise Remastered
They will include microtransactions at some point. It's EA after all.
Re: Soapbox: Why Burnout Paradise Makes Perfect Sense as EA's First Remaster
I am placing bets right now that this remaster will have microtransactions.

No. It's not you, it's EA.
Re: Monster Hunter: World Actually Broke 2 Million Sales at Launch in Japan
@Bliquid Precisely.
Re: The Burnout Paradise Remaster Rumour Mill Keeps On Turning
I think they'll bring it back with modern features like microtransactions and pay to win models.
Re: Monster Hunter: World Actually Broke 2 Million Sales at Launch in Japan
I think they had EA and Activision to thank for good sales in the west too.
