@BritneyfR_ee I think a lot of people are playing through the first game in prep for this game like me, for the first time, so please avoid spoilers even for the old game. Your first comment was a joke spoiler, so when you post another one with same header, it's deceiving.
@Flaming_Kaiser it's the "wild west" because people keep doing it. It's kinda hard to blame companies for putting out bad products when people keep buying them without learning about them beforehand. It's very easy to read reviews and don't pre order games before you know they aren't busted. It's pretty easy to do, I do it. But if you don't do that then you can't really complain and have it be valid if you keep buying things without having any caution. Those companies have no obligation to put out a good product if people keep spending money on poor & half finished products. They don't care if it's good or finished, they care about sales.
May continue some in GoT Director's Cut & Spider-Man Remastered, I'm liking that the game is going much quicker since I've already beat it on PS4... I'm racking up XP & skills like crazy.
Besides that, I bought Demon's Souls, Alan Wake, & FIST in the sale so I'm really looking forward to playing Alan Wake & Control back to back.
Demon's Souls is my first Souls games so wish me luck!
@Flaming_Kaiser the only thing you, as a consumer can do is stop pre-ordering games and make informed choices on what you purchase. Not giving these developers your money is way more effective than going on message board tantrums. That's how you get them to listen. Make informed & intelligent decisions with your purchasing, that's really the best thing you can do.
I've had a hard time getting into VR for some reason. And I've tried VERY hard to get into it. I own an Oculus Quest 2 that I bought to try Resident Evil 4 & GTA San Andreas when it launches and I also had PSVR I bought secondhand, which had some really fun games like Resident Evil 7, Batman Arkham VR, Skyrim, Trover Saves The Universe, Accounting+, Blood & Truth, Iron Man, and of course Astro Bot. But I have a super hard time just keeping the headset on for longer than an hour or so, I'll start sweating, I'll get uncomfortable, and it just takes a lot to get me to play it. PSVR was really a chore to set up but there were games I REALLY wanted to play....RE7 was full stop incredible & terrifying the first time I played it....ive not had a better VR experience since. My Oculus stays in the case most days and I think the big reason is, there's no "Killer App" for it besides RE4, I'll definitely play GTA but besides that Half Life Alyx is really the only VR game I really want to play & I'd have to get my friend to let me link up to his gaming laptop & stuff just to let me play it, which I haven't tried to ask him to do yet. PSVR2 I think has much better possibilities for software than the Oculus does but price & availability will obviously be big factors, ease of use....but I'm definitely open to the idea of getting one, knowing they'll have some great software for it.
@ATaco ok I wasn't really trying to refute your opinions or have a debate about gatekeeping cosmetics or whatever. I was really trying to explain why I think you're overreacting & being a bit over the top. Your opinion on cosmetics being sold as optional DLC is really the only thing that correlates to this game & really that's not even about this game, it's you just crapping on something over a preconceived notion you already have, which I find to be a bit silly & petty. But ok. Be mad all you want over costumes. This isn't a game you purposely went and bought...it's about a game that you're literally getting for like a dollar. Just.... nevermind. Sorry you can't just enjoy a good game when you get one for almost nothing.
And you did say they were "a worthless thing anyone could buy." So... please don't act like I put those words in your mouth or projected that onto what you said.
@ATaco Are you really that bothered about the value & the accessibility of costumes for your video game character? Just.... it boggles my mind you're bothered that someone can pay for an imaginary costume and how your deem them worthless yet your whole speech is about you being upset that it doesn't come already bundled in the game. You're upset that this game, that you're getting for pennies, doesn't come with some worthless cosmetic.... that's worthless because it's accessible to "just anyone." Really it seems like a long winded justification to what boils down to "I want to complain because I can."
Gah.... it was an ordeal just writing that out & trying to comprehend your complaints through the filter of my own reason, logic, & maturity.
@Milktastrophe no one forgot that we have to pay for electricity sigh. We are just reasonable adults & attempt to have a level of maturity when we react to things like video game cosmetics for games that we are getting for peanuts. As adults, we understand it's really not that big of a deal & really probably not worth the time & effort it would take to complain about something so petty & miniscule. Because it's really just a video game that you shoot guns and stuff in.... if I don't get some stupid outfit to wear on my video game character, that's ok, I realize the people who made the game need to feed their families & have an income too, that they need to pay for their electricity too. If selling some in-game items is a way for them to do that, that's okay, I don't have to buy them.... it won't effect me or my enjoyment of the actual game. Get some perspective & maturity complain about something that isn't so petty & irrelevant.
About games I'm getting on a service that AT MOST costs $5 USD per month.... that I got on one of the MANY 50% off sales, so I'm paying $2.50 USD per month for.... the price of a can of pop, of a candy bar, of a McDouble...
@themightyant are you speaking to me about the Adata S70 Blade? If so, 105 British pounds is 140 USD so the price I bought it at and that it's still at, is technically a bit cheaper that.
So I bought the Adata Gammix S70 Blade off Amazon for $129.99 which is by far the cheapest I've seen these with a heatsink included. Installing it was a breeze & I've never really done anything like this before. The PS5 recognized it immediately and transferring any game onto it took 60 seconds or less. One thing to mention is it advertises read speeds of up to 7400mbs but the PS5 test was 6500, so there's that. Other than that, I've had it for almost two weeks & it runs games just as fast as the PS5. No complaints from me so far! Very happy with the simple installation & the wide array of options. Couldn't be happier.
God of War, Horizon, Suicide Squad, Gotham Knights, Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk. Plenty of others but those are my most anticipated. Partially because we've seen gameplay from them all. Ghostwire Tokyo looks really fun too.
Trying to clean up side quests in Ghosts of Tshumia Director's Cut on PS5 before I finish the story & do Iik Island. Probably try to finish Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, I finished Astro's Playroom last night & what a fun trip down memory lane.
Playing through this right now on my new PS5 I bought on Christmas Eve. This was one of the first purchases I made and my first R&C game.... and so far, it's my favorite PS5 exclusive & the best looking game I've played.... probably ever.
The very early level that's a futuristic, cyberpunk-style level with the flying cars & such.... I've spent so much time just staring at the details in the environment. The skies are just chock full of traffic & there is so much going on, it's truly like nothing else I've ever seen in gaming. It's the one game that I really couldn't ever imagine running on last gen, it's something that really has shown me what is possible this gen.
It's a really easy game & nothing groundbreaking, it may be "short" but it's the one game that has consistently blown me away & made me excited about the future of the hardware. It's the game I will show my friends what the PS5 is capable of.
@JamieO wow, those are real trophies?! Kudos to you for getting them but those are really, really overboard especially for bronze. I can't imagine how ridiculous the silver & gold trophies are.... or what percentage of players that get them & the platinum are.
To the people saying that they are worried about buying a Ratchet & Clank game because it's only 20 hours or whatever..... I had no problem paying $50 for it. Because for me, it's quality over quantity. Same with Metroid Dread. I'll happily pay for a shorter game if the quality of the hours spent in it are so high. But if you'd rather play something that's longer but a little watered down, then I understand.
It's been sitting in the backlog since it went on sale during the Black Friday PSN sale. I plan on starting it after I finish Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart & Astro's Playroom. Though kinda weird it's PS4 only game but it still looks pretty great graphically. The art direction & aesthetic is top notch....it really should've won for that at the Game Awards.
If you think a PS5 upgrade is just a "60 FPS" patch, I feel like you've not played them. GoT is a new experience after I switched my save file over to PS5 last night, it's not a different game but it's a different experience. The haptic & adaptive trigger implementation of the dual sense, the 3D audio, the 60 FPS, the cut scenes being real time, the reflections & shadows, the lack of loading screens, it's just.... It's very different, as someone who just began playing it on PS5 after playing up until Act Three on PS4 Pro. It's not just a 60FPS patch, if you just want a 60FPS patch then you can play the PS4 version on PS5. It's a true PS5 game now.
15 for me, eh decent. I missed a ton of the first dozen just because I didn't really pay much attention to news until this summer when I started preparing to find a PS5.... I pretty much got the last 10 all correct.
So I finally got a PS5 on Christmas eve with my Christmas bonus from work! I ended up paying a local scalper $750 for it which.... I know, don't judge me.... But I'm so happy I got it. It's like my childhood all over again.
So I got Deathoop, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Stranding Director's Cut, Spider-Man Remastered, Guilty Gear Strive, and a bunch of games I can upgrade whenever I finish these. I've played some Returnal & Spider-Man just to check out the ray tracing & such. Great system but the home screen leaves something to be desired, PS4 with themes, folders, and custom organization was much better, but I do like the library integration & the fact I could just plug my PS4 4tb HDD straight into it.
Best Christmas in years! I don't think I've ever gotten a console this early into it's life cycle! Merry Christmas everyone & hope yours' is as great as mine!
I got a PS5 on Christmas Eve!! I got a Christmas bonus from work & I bought it from a local scalper off Facebook marketplace of all places for $750, I met him at a Starbucks & tested it on a portable monitor there to verify it worked. Yeesh it was expensive...I know but it was worth it...it's like my childhood all over again, getting a console for Christmas. I'll make some of it back from selling my PS4 Pro & accessories but next thing I really want to get is an SSD to expand my game storage.
I'm super excited though, first thing I booted up was the Matrix tech demo. I've got a bunch of games I can upgrade for free, then I bought Returnal, Death Stranding Director's Cut, Ratchet & Clank, and Deathloop so I can experience the PS5 exclusives. I thought about Demon's Souls but I'm scared of FromSoftware heh.
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope some of you are having as wonderful a holiday as I am!
Ni No Kuni 2 Scarlet Nexus Dragon's Dogma Observer Nier Automata or Replicant Immortals Fenix Rising Dead Cells Watch Dogs Legion or 2 Yakuza 3, 4, or 5 Judgment Days Gone
All of these games are games I kinda want but haven't bit on and I'd be quite happy with any of them. Anything that's well regarded & well made for what it is, I'll be happy with.
Started GoT Director's Cut and it's very pretty looking... story is good, combat is fun, I'm liking it.
Maybe some more Persona 5 Royal, I'm in June now.
I also got an Oculus Quest 2 because I wanted something for Christmas and I can't find a PS5 or X Box Series.... I've been playing Resident Evil 4. It's pretty amazing, I can't wait until this technology gets further along. It'll be fun.
My real takeaway from this article is that I'll now be listening to Sacred Symbols.... always looking for more podcasts to listen to at work, after seeing the praise for it in the comments, I'll be checking it out. Thanks guys!
I like BioShock, particularly the first game & loved the setting. Never played Infinite despite some interest. So I'd definitely play this, the setting doesn't sound all that intriguing but I'll wait to hear more about it.
I don't need something that's the equivalent of Game Pass but it would be really nice to have something comparable. I won't lie and say I haven't been tempted to make the leap & get a Series system just to give Game Pass a try. If Sony had something even comparable, it might stop that temptation from lingering in the back of my mind. Plus, I really wish I could use the X-Box style controller on my PS system, I love that design.
I mean.... they're okay. Could be worse. It's not a golf game & it's not something boring like First Class Trouble. Mortal Shell seems okay. Godfall would be cool if it's wasn't endgame stuff. Lego DC would be okay especially if it's local co-op but I don't think it is.
So I'm a bit through the Blood & Wine expansion of Witcher 3 and I just needed a break, I've played nothing else for pretty much the last month.
My roommate has spent all his time since 4am Friday on FF XXIV, I've thought about starting it on PS4 while he's on PC but it feels overwhelming trying to start it out.
I've just started Assassin's Creed Odyssey because I really like the Ancient Greece setting & the mythology. First AC game I've played since 3 & Black Flag....I've got Origins & Valhalla too but haven't played either, Odyssey really got me interested after I looked through the season pass content & saw the Atlantis & Underworld stuff. I'm about 4 hours in and it's a ton like The Witcher & very pretty. Alexios is goofy and so far, it's fun.
Besides that, I might try to play a little bit more of Guardians of the Galaxy, I got stuck at the mission where you gotta fight a whole ton of Nova Corps & kinda gave up for awhile. I also might drop in for some more Persona 5 Royale.
If anyone wants to be friends on PSN, my friends list is sorely pretty pathetic. My username is GalacticBreakdwn
@kingbreww lol yeah no, I'm with you on all that. I really do wish I could find one. I'm def a lil bit jealous of those who have one but it sounded like maybe your expectations were high of new games like this. But fair enough, everything you just said I agree with. Everytime I get a load screen on my PS4 Pro, I want one just a bit more.
Been finishing up The Witcher 3 Blood & Wine DLC, I'm at Chapter 4 in GotG, and finally started Arkham Knight which is really cool but there's too much Batmobile stuff. I like it but it's total overkill when I just want to do Batman stuff but I've gotta pull something with the car, do this race, shoot this drone, etc. I'll still play it but the Batmobile consumes way too much of the play time.
On Switch I'm a few hours in on Shin Megami Tensai V.
@thefourfoldroot yeah I got my subscription for half off for the year a few months back. So I paid $30USD, which so I'm paying $2.50 a month.... which is less than a gallon of gas.
@AV_aka_577_ex-Xbox sigh. So I guess they should just ignore PSVR and their users? Sorry that we are happy with the offering & you disagree with their choice to acknowledge those users. I guess some people just can't be happy and want to use statistics to justify their negativity. That's okay, hopefully you are happier with future offerings. Probably not though.
@AV_aka_577_ex-Xbox it's the PSVR anniversary month, do people not understand that? I got my PSVR for peanuts on Facebook marketplace and I love it despite some of the flaws. It's five years old and they are celebrating that. I'm sure there will be other similar promotions for other anniversaries. Calm down, most months are going to be very mild. The expectations and entitlement of some of you guys is just ridiculous. Like you deserve AAA games for peanuts when all you do is complain about their business decisions & their choice of promotions. If you want AAA games that is competing with Game Pass, get PS Now. Plus isn't the equivalent of GP, it's the equivalent of Games with Gold, which also gives away games of varying quality that are usually budget releases. Plus has given out several AAA titles this year like FF7 Remake, Days Gone, and whatever else. Control isn't AAA but was another top quality game they gave out this year. Persistence is first party and can be played without VR, so maybe you'll like that? Besides that, I'd recommend picking up a PS Now sub if you want AAA games for your money, it's a great deal & has a ton of quality games.
I really, REALLY have considered picking up Guardians this weekend. I really shouldn't, I can't really afford it with the trip I'm taking to Indianapolis next weekend to see GWAR, Napalm Death, & eyehategod in concert. But I really want to play it lol.
I've been trying to get into the Halloween mood with games this weekend but almost all my gaming time has been devoted to The Witcher 3, all my gaming time period has been with it. It is SOOOOOOO good and quite fits the Halloween theme. So much to do, so much gear to get, and the story is wonderful & engaging. I played a bunch of this on Switch but I picked this up on the PS Store, the complete version for like 8 bucks. Best deal I've ever gotten in gaming lol. I've just finished the quest in the garden with Yen and I'm sure I'll stay up until Sunday morning playing.
I really would like to play some Resident Evil 2 Remake & maybe finish Leon's campaign, play some more RE7 in VR, maybe play some more Bloodstained, or finally make some progress in SOTN but I'll need a guide for SOTN, I always give up whenever I get stuck or die, then have to start over from scratch. Besides those, I may finally play Arkham Knight... Only Arkham Game I've never played after beating both Asylum & City back on PS3. I have both the remasters on PS4 & have played through about half of Asylum again but idk if I have the patience to play through them both again before playing Knight, so I may jump into it.
I really don't understand some of the gaming community. I must not be diehard enough or something.
I love PlayStation, I love gaming, I have so many amazing games to play & I don't even own a PS5. It's simply been too difficult to get ahold of one & I don't have the time to put the effort in to get one when they pop up in stock for an hour.
PlayStation Plus the last few months hasn't been great but I've gotten a few things here & there, I've played a ton of stuff from PS Now that I wouldn't be able to play otherwise, and I'm excited for the future when I enevitably get a PS5. Until then I can still play most of the new games on my PS4 Pro, which allows me to still get really excited about the new stuff coming out.
I wish I could play most of my collection with a higher frame rate at 60FPS, enhanced visuals, faster loading times, and other improvements....I wish I could play Rift Apart, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Deathloop, Death Stranding DC, and others that have gotten native PS5 upgrades. I really do wish I could get a PS5, I would really LOVE to get one, and I know I will eventually. It would make me unbelievably happy to get one soon even if there's not a ton of next gen exclusives, there will be eventually.... Spider-Man 2 & Wolverine have me so excited, as do Horizon & GoW, I cannot wait to dive back into two of my favorite worlds in gaming.
I'm very excited about the future even if I'm just playing on my underpowered PS4 Pro for awhile. I really appreciate it & am grateful my life allows me to have such a luxury, to spend hours gaming on it. So all this negativity & pessimistic attitudes in this comment section really feels weird to me because I do love PlayStation & I will continue to. No matter what decisions they make I don't agree with or what they offer on PSPlus...
I love the fact that I have the privilege to own one & have the time to spend playing it at this point in my life. There was a time I didn't, so now that I do.... I'm very grateful that I do.
If how I feel or my positive attitude makes me a fanboy or shill to other gamers on this site, that's okay I guess. I'm sorry that bothers you & that I don't really have the desire to put my energy & time into negativity & reactionary criticism. Sorry for the essay. ✌️
I've been interested in Kingdoms for awhile, I almost bought it for Switch. Todd McFarlane's contributions really interested me.
I have PSVR so I'm super jazzed to get Walking Dead and Persistence, have heard really great things about Saints & Sinners. When the devs of Persistence became first party, that caught my attention too. Never heard of Until You Fall but I'll definitely add it to the library.
The other two games don't interest me but that's okay. The others are enough. Good month!
I finished the story campaign in Spider-Man: Miles Morales and just started the Avengers campaign offline. I don't understand the hate for this game, the opening was REALLY good where you play as the whole team on the Golden Gate Bridge. I love all the different mechanics with each member, the story is different & interesting, and Kamala Khan is such a good character. I love this campaign so far, can't wait to play the Hawkeye & Wakanda expansion campaigns. No interest in the online multiplayer aspects or cosmetics.
Besides those, I want to get through more Persona 5 Royale, I'm on the 2nd Dungeon in May. I'd like to get through & possibly finish Yakuza Kiwami so I can play Kiwami 2 or 0. Then I'd like to start GoT DC or Arkham Knight. Or Witcher 3 Complete. Or one of the 3 AC games I've got Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla..... so many games.
I'd be super into this if it wasn't so expensive. Clone or not, most of these characters were a huge part of my childhood as a 90's kid and I'm obviously the market for this game. They clearly were very tight on funds, for instance only two of the TMNT members are on the roster. All they really had to do was recolor their headbands, maybe throw in a few special moves, a few different animations, and that's the other two. I know that's oversimplifying it but it can't be super difficult considering the way characters can be reskinned. Other than the price, I'd love to spend some time with this, I'll definitely pick it up on sale.
Whoever said Metroid Dread being 60 bucks is a disgrace...then comparing it to Cuphead because they're both 2D... just smh. Ohhhkay....
I hope everyone enjoys it, I'm sure it's a well made game & will please those who are excited for it.
But I can't just really be any less interested in this. I thought about it maybe being a co-op game to play with my friends but.... I'd maybe get something like Blood Dragon for that, that seems like a ton of fun. I kinda see it like this, I don't get near as much time as I'd like to play games. I've got a ton of games I still want to play and I'd rather spend the time I do get on things I'm 100% all-in on. I hope everyone else loves it though!
I'm jumping between all kinds of stuff at the moment. Yesterday I finished the story of Trover Saves The Universe in PSVR, loved it, hilarious game. One of my favorite VR games.
I'm trying to get through Kamoshida's Castle in Persona 5 Royale. I'm still learning all different things you can do & I didn't realize I could leave the Dungeon and let a day pass. I really love this game and it's style, it really makes even the most mundane things into entertaining gameplay elements. It has the most charming cast so far of any game I've ever played. I'm only 12 hours in and I already really care for the core cast. Can't wait for it to open up more. I'm trying to get through it a bit more because I bought Persona 5 Strikers in the current PS Store sale.
Besides that, I'm jumping into Castlevania SOTN for the first time in Requiem, chipping away at Horizon Zero Dawn before the sequel comes out, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and will probably start Last of Us Part Two after finishing the remaster of the first game.
I loved IV when it came out. It's what made me take notice of it, having the whole "They Live" tribute and having the ridiculous opening with "Don't Wanna Close My Eyes" by Aerosmith playing. Before that, I just saw it as a GTA clone....I loved flying around the city, it was a game where I legit felt like Superman flying around the city. Though you did get overpowered at combat.
I got Mass Effect Legendary Edition and I'm playing through the first game for the first time. Back on PS3, I only played 2 & 3, the first game wasn't released until after I finished them. I'm glad I waited, so I can now play them back to back.
Besides that, I'm playing through Resident Evil 2 remake, I'm trying to get caught up on them.
I just recently bought a PS4 Pro with PSVR after getting frustrated trying to find a PS5 for a decent price. I've not owned a Sony console since PS3 so I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Re: Best PS5 SSD 2022: Boost Your PS5 Storage Capacity
Re: PS Now's January 2022 Update Includes Mortal Kombat 11, Final Fantasy 12, More
@solocapers I would guess so you could play it off of your external HDD or SSD rather than use your internal SSD for it.
Re: Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games of 2022
God of War, Horizon, Suicide Squad, Gotham Knights, Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk. Plenty of others but those are my most anticipated. Partially because we've seen gameplay from them all. Ghostwire Tokyo looks really fun too.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - New Year Edition
Happy new year!
Trying to clean up side quests in Ghosts of Tshumia Director's Cut on PS5 before I finish the story & do Iik Island. Probably try to finish Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, I finished Astro's Playroom last night & what a fun trip down memory lane.
Re: Game of the Year: #3 - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Re: Game of the Year: Jamie's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2021
@JamieO wow, those are real trophies?! Kudos to you for getting them but those are really, really overboard especially for bronze. I can't imagine how ridiculous the silver & gold trophies are.... or what percentage of players that get them & the platinum are.
Re: Game of the Year: Jamie's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2021
To the people saying that they are worried about buying a Ratchet & Clank game because it's only 20 hours or whatever..... I had no problem paying $50 for it. Because for me, it's quality over quantity. Same with Metroid Dread. I'll happily pay for a shorter game if the quality of the hours spent in it are so high. But if you'd rather play something that's longer but a little watered down, then I understand.
Re: Game of the Year: #5 - Psychonauts 2
It's been sitting in the backlog since it went on sale during the Black Friday PSN sale. I plan on starting it after I finish Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart & Astro's Playroom. Though kinda weird it's PS4 only game but it still looks pretty great graphically. The art direction & aesthetic is top notch....it really should've won for that at the Game Awards.
Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5, PS4 Remake, Remaster, or Re-Release of 2021
If you think a PS5 upgrade is just a "60 FPS" patch, I feel like you've not played them.
Re: Push Square's PlayStation Quiz of the Year 2021
15 for me, eh decent. I missed a ton of the first dozen just because I didn't really pay much attention to news until this summer when I started preparing to find a PS5.... I pretty much got the last 10 all correct.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Xmas Edition
Re: 10 PS5 Things You Should Do First This Christmas
Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for January 2022 Do You Want?
Ni No Kuni 2
Scarlet Nexus
Dragon's Dogma
Observer
Nier Automata or Replicant
Immortals Fenix Rising
Dead Cells
Watch Dogs Legion or 2
Yakuza 3, 4, or 5
Judgment
Days Gone
All of these games are games I kinda want but haven't bit on and I'd be quite happy with any of them. Anything that's well regarded & well made for what it is, I'll be happy with.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 406
Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year 2021?
My top five were Mass Effect, Guardians, Tales of Arise, Village, and Psychonauts 2. Death's Door was a close one.
I also liked GoT Director's Cut but it's really a game from last year. I didn't get to play any PS5 exclusives as I don't own one.
I also liked Hades & Narita Boy but played them on Switch.
Re: PS Now's December 2021 Update Includes GTA, Final Fantasy, John Wick, and More
Definitely downloading FFX and X-2....
The GTA timed thing is ridiculous. Especially with the state of it.
Re: New BioShock Set in a Fictional Antarctic City in the 1960s
My real takeaway from this article is that I'll now be listening to Sacred Symbols.... always looking for more podcasts to listen to at work, after seeing the praise for it in the comments, I'll be checking it out. Thanks guys!
Re: New BioShock Set in a Fictional Antarctic City in the 1960s
I like BioShock, particularly the first game & loved the setting. Never played Infinite despite some interest. So I'd definitely play this, the setting doesn't sound all that intriguing but I'll wait to hear more about it.
Re: Reaction: Merging PS Plus and PS Now Makes Sense, But an Xbox Game Pass Competitor Can't Be Half-Arsed
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for December 2021?
I mean.... they're okay. Could be worse. It's not a golf game & it's not something boring like First Class Trouble. Mortal Shell seems okay. Godfall would be cool if it's wasn't endgame stuff. Lego DC would be okay especially if it's local co-op but I don't think it is.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 405
Re: Mini Review: Chorus (PS5) - Stunning Space Exploration with Slick Combat
@kingbreww hah well good then. Fair.
Re: Mini Review: Chorus (PS5) - Stunning Space Exploration with Slick Combat
@kingbreww lol yeah no, I'm with you on all that. I really do wish I could find one. I'm def a lil bit jealous of those who have one but it sounded like maybe your expectations were high of new games like this. But fair enough, everything you just said I agree with. Everytime I get a load screen on my PS4 Pro, I want one just a bit more.
Re: Mini Review: Chorus (PS5) - Stunning Space Exploration with Slick Combat
@kingbreww it kinda sounds like you shoulda maybe waited a few years to buy a PS5.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 404
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for November 2021?
@thefourfoldroot yeah I got my subscription for half off for the year a few months back. So I paid $30USD, which so I'm paying $2.50 a month.... which is less than a gallon of gas.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for November 2021?
@AV_aka_577_ex-Xbox sigh. So I guess they should just ignore PSVR and their users? Sorry that we are happy with the offering & you disagree with their choice to acknowledge those users. I guess some people just can't be happy and want to use statistics to justify their negativity. That's okay, hopefully you are happier with future offerings. Probably not though.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for November 2021?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 400
Happy Halloween to you all!
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for November 2021?
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for November 2021?
I've been interested in Kingdoms for awhile, I almost bought it for Switch. Todd McFarlane's contributions really interested me.
I have PSVR so I'm super jazzed to get Walking Dead and Persistence, have heard really great things about Saints & Sinners. When the devs of Persistence became first party, that caught my attention too. Never heard of Until You Fall but I'll definitely add it to the library.
The other two games don't interest me but that's okay. The others are enough. Good month!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 397
Metroid Dread next Friday, maybe Tales of Arise.
Re: Mini Review: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (PS5) - Featuring Absolutely No Trace of Doug
Whoever said Metroid Dread being 60 bucks is a disgrace...then comparing it to Cuphead because they're both 2D... just smh. Ohhhkay....
Re: Round Up: Far Cry 6 Reviews Paint a Familiar Open World Picture
I hope everyone enjoys it, I'm sure it's a well made game & will please those who are excited for it.
But I can't just really be any less interested in this. I thought about it maybe being a co-op game to play with my friends but.... I'd maybe get something like Blood Dragon for that, that seems like a ton of fun. I kinda see it like this, I don't get near as much time as I'd like to play games. I've got a ton of games I still want to play and I'd rather spend the time I do get on things I'm 100% all-in on. I hope everyone else loves it though!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 394
Have a good weekend everyone!
Re: God of War's Norse Story Won't Be a Trilogy Because the Games Take Too Long to Make
@Jaz007 Ragnarok was always announced to be on PS4.
Re: New Saints Row Game Reveal Teased for Gamescom Opening Night Live
I loved IV when it came out. It's what made me take notice of it, having the whole "They Live" tribute and having the ridiculous opening with "Don't Wanna Close My Eyes" by Aerosmith playing. Before that, I just saw it as a GTA clone....I loved flying around the city, it was a game where I legit felt like Superman flying around the city. Though you did get overpowered at combat.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 388
