Pc gaming is all but paying money to Intel, Amd or Nvidia, once that is sorted the Devs are practical screwed as its so easy to get a pirated Horizon Zero Dawn right now on PC. So which means Guerilla did a lot of porting work for at best nothing.......
I have had my Ps4 since 2018 and have spent over $1000 on games, I do also have a PC and I terms of gaming I could get over 30 games by just spending at most $60.
On pc Once your graphics card can load the game the devs can go over the clip really cause the mods makes the games ever better than the original games. So Sony should tread really carefully.
Is the PC money really big enough to warrant Sony chasing it at the expense of the PS Plus money, I mean with the exclusives gone why even subscribe to Ps Plus when you can play online games for free on Pc and wait for the PS exclusives to eventually launch at dirt cheap prices were you can still pirate them and get them for free.
I mean this is a middle finger to people who supported Days Gone, I mean if they kept it Exclusive on the Sony platforms then get Bend to update it for Ps5 with new content then people who did not buy it in 2018 may take a dip in it, but now it's actually better to prorated it for free on PC.

A ff7 remake that was not high octane close up view graphics would not have worked with the fans, if it did the remember that ff7 was remade and this is not the first remake and those remakes did not sell and actually everyone has forgotten they released, so no ff7 ps1 with better texture would have dismally failed and tarnished the name and rep of ff7 ps1.
So no a facelifted only remake would have flopped badly.
If you really do respect the story of the original ff7 ps1 then you would appreciate that it requires more that 1 installment to retell in its glory..

Bluepoint have not created an original game in their existence, and have not taken any financial or creative risk, everything they have done has been safely taken off risk wise by Sony. Also Bluepoint have done Remaster of mostly silent games hence they work has been largely graphical overhalll hence they have done 1 to 1 Remaster and once off Remaster.
Final Fantasy is the very definition of Square Enix as a developer and publisher, i.e. It's their baby, which means they cannot just release a graphical overhaul since unlike Demons And Colossus, Final Fantasy is actually a story intensive and has a lot of dialogue unlike Demons and Colossus which are more game play based games and it would have actually been weird if Bluepoint deveviated from the Originals.
There is a reason the game is being Remaster not as 1 game but parts, not because Square is greedy but if you think of the original FF7 on ps1, it would not do justice to the original to try and cram the remake into one release because of the level of gaming we are in at the moment.....
E.g, Hitman reboot is a minimalist game in the sense that it is a sandbox of not very big areas, yet IO had to release the game in 3 parts in order to release the game in its full scope using modern technology, so if Hitman which does not have a lot of dialogue and about 22 to 26 locations /levels takes 3 released to fully realize, then we have to give Square Enix the benefit of the doubt as surely they love FF7 as all its fans and dire hard fans......
I think square have been on a roll and I think they deserve a chance for us to give them so they can give us their modernised version of FF7

Elie is a naive, inquisitive, annoying, bubbly, free spirited, loving, caring young girl who has grown up in a hash world. She adds color and brightness to the grim world.
But Niel is part of casting so he would be better placed to see the actors and see who can fit Ellie's characters, maybe it's just gamers 's bias but from first look she does not have that Elie feel but we shall see as she is a brilliant actor.

My only issue is that I prefer the background story to the foreground story, in the sense that I actually when to play it out to actually see the robots being created and the world behind destroyed to its current state, I hope Gorilla has the background story as the opening of Forbidden West sort of like Rockstar did with the open chapter of RDR2

More of the same in this case means "More of the same when Uncharted went from 1 to 2", Naughty Dog had an idea in Uncharted 1 and when Uncharted 2 launched it showed that they firmly into grips with their vision and execution of the idea of the game.
HZD was Gorilla's fleshing out of the idea and giving the Decima Engine a first run in the wild. Forbidden Worst is Gorilla finally flexing their muscle and segmenting themselves on the same level as Naughty Dog and Insomniac.

Yes it was flat on the forward storytelling direction wise since the open of the narrative is excellent. The exploration is the appropriate amount in that Alloy is not necessarily a scavenger hence she does not have a need to go out an explore hence the world not needing to be combed through.
So apart from that, everything about the game is masterpiece/ game of a generation level.

So why would they low price games when they have so many different economic status buyers to go through.
Whether you buy it at 70 or 5 dollars, fact is you eventually bought the game.
The game only needs critical acclaim, it just needs to review well.

I had it cleaned about 9 months back and replaced the thermal paste, I did open it to clear dust a few weeks back, but it seems it burns through the thermal paste quite quickly, could this be a defect? More of the same in this case means "More of the same when Uncharted went from 1 to 2", Naughty Dog had an idea in Uncharted 1 and when Uncharted 2 launched it showed that they firmly into grips with their vision and execution of the idea of the game.
HZD was Gorilla's fleshing out of the idea and giving the Decima Engine a first run in the wild. Forbidden Worst is Gorilla finally flexing their muscle and segmenting themselves on the same level as Naughty Dog and Insomniac.
PS: Remember the stars of the show are the Robot Dinosaurs.

@emj2010...... Not sure what you are on about but the last 10/10 game was HZD.
Yes it was flat on the forward storytelling direction wise since the open of the narrative is excellent. The exploration is the appropriate amount in that Alloy is not necessarily a scavenger hence she does not have a need to go out an explore hence the world not needing to be combed through.
So apart from that, everything about the game is masterpiece/ game of a generation level.

EA do not sell or advertise FIFA as a digital only game on PC yet it is. Buying a physical PC disc of FIFA will not result in your playing FIFA when you insert the dics and install it on PC, as a matter of fact you will not be able to play the game offline even though the game is sold physically in a stonebrick store on a physical disc. SAME THING WITH ACTIVISION AND CALL OF DUTY.

I personally don't see how visual or physical damage helps with immersion Ina racing game.
Actually visual and physical damage are annoying in a racing games.
For example a car really get boring wants you crash and it gets damaged.....

So the DAY1 buyers i.e all the 13 millions who bought the broken CP2077 are the ones who will take the initial $70/€70, then there will be the "I will only buy it when it around $40-55/€40-55" that's who the first price drop will for, after you have the Deluxe and GOTY editions buyers, the sale buyers and lastly the bargain bin buyers.
So why would they low price games when they have so many different economic status buyers to go through.
Whether you buy it at 70 or 5 dollars, fact is you eventually bought the game.
The game only needs critical acclaim, it just needs to review well.
I mean The last of Us took 7 years to reach 20 million, and it reached that going through the different economic level buyers, heck i picked it up at it at its bargain bin price.

So the game will be fantastic, so why price a game $15 when it is still going to drop in price anyway, buy the time this game gets to the rogue like price point it will feel like it's a sell there driving more its sales.

What does it mean for games integrity if CP2077 gets given the opportunity to be nominated for a Role Playing Game Of The Year when it not a finished game and released in a broken state and has been removed from the gaming store of the current number 1 gaming system.
I would have thought for integrity of the industry surely CP2077 should be barred from being nominated for anything.
It robs the hard work other devs put in to get their ready and released in finished state.
I mean why finish a game when it can be nominated for a game of the year award.
So if it wins, what does it mean for RPG released last year. Are they so bad that they get beaten by an unfinished broken game.

AGENT 47 and 007 are totally different people working for tottaly different organizations doing totally different thing.
One is a gun for hire and the other is a government agent.
It's like asking for SNAKE or BIG Boss to be a gun for hire or having a Metal Gear game be a Hitman game.
It just might not work. And also probably the same reason agent 47 has not cleared 10m in sales for a single release in its entirety bar I think Absolution which lo and behold was a more narrative /story based title.
So I am not sure 47 disguised as 007 would work.

As in all honesty I. O. have struggled to come up with a good story or narrative for the entire Hitman series bar maybe Silent Assassin, heck the resent reboot is loved for its repeat game play, not its storyline and if we are being honest we don't know what even is the agenda or story is about or aiming to tell in the resent reboot trilogy. I wish I. O. don't think they can use the James Bond name's popularity to push their stale Hitman formula(Story wise that is).
This is the IP I wish the likes of Naughty Dog / Insomniac / Rockstar would take on.
I hope we get something above GOT, cause I am getting those vibes as seen with Sucker Punch transitioniong from game play only based games(infamous) to gameplay/narrative mix(Got) as GOT is fantastic gameplay /graphics wise but you can see Suckerpunch are still babies in terms of immersion and story.
Fingers crossed I. O. are having their Guerilla Horizon Zero Dawn moment or their Creative revival Ala Square Enix and Capcom in the past decade.
Can they go above MGS on psone and Goldeneye on the N64 as those are still the standards to be passed in the spy/espionage games.

I had it cleaned about 9 months back and replaced the thermal paste, I did open it to clear dust a few weeks back, but it seems it burns through the thermal paste quite quickly, could this be a defect? Cause surely the thermal should at least last minimum a year and a half to 2 years. At this rate I will be replacing the thermal every 6 months.
Right now I so wish I could be able to buy a Ps4 but funds are tight and all that.

CDPR have one hit and are currently one hit wonders, you can bet your house they will keep singing its praise till they have a new thing to sing about.
When you have one trophy in your locker, it will always look shiny cause it's the only thing you can polish.
When you have trophy laden room, there trophies are too many to shine them all and sometimes you are too busy winning new trophies to have time to shine them all.
Hence CDPR's constant trumpet blowing of TW3. I think it's no coincidence that prior to the launch of CP2077 they suddenly gave some attention to TW3 cause they knew of the state of CP2077.

It think that's what the furore regarding the game comes from, Naughty 🦮 decided to completely cut the fantasy with regards to how protagonists have prominently been white male macho/bad/James bond or Rambo wanna bee's and women have been mostly just been portrayed as barbie doll eye candy.
So Naughty🦮 shattered that viewpoit /perspective and some people lost their undies over this.
2 of Sony's 1st party studios have already put the main protagonist of their blockbuster games in the background(Insomniac with Miles) and the other studio even completely killing one of the main protagonist(ND telling Joel get the F outs her), So just Imagine if Kratos dies in the opening act of Ragnarok, the internet will really break this time
