With sets from Playstation, Meta, Valve, HTC, and HP, there appears to be more sets available than games I'd play for more than a few hours. I'm guessing in 10-15 years there will either be enough companies developing quality VR games that I'll get a set, or they'll disappear like the 3D TVs.
I skipped last gen consoles entirely, and got a PS5 two years ago (it took 1 week of following a twitter account that said when a retailer was getting some PS5s...not sure why ppl thought it was impossible). I'm 100% content with the PS5, and looking forward to developers really tapping into it's potential as they kiss last gen goodbye
I'll have to give this game another shot soon. I got so overwhelmed and confused with where, or if, I can set up my guns, and the battlepass system, that I just haven't played it at all. I had a blast with the last game so I want to figure it out... just not enough time in a day 😔
I haven't played the games (my backlog is a sight to behold) but even if I did, I can't imagine thinking that that first episode wasn't absolutely brilliant. Also, "Kim, you don't have a f'ing ear on your f'ing head. Could you please?" literally lol'd 😂. Can't wait for next Sunday!
I absolutely dig Stephen Tailby prediction about Spiderman 2. If we get to play as Venom I would pre-order. Venom is top 5 on my favorite comic character list. Spiderman doesn't make my top 20 lol
I started playing it about a year and a half ago, and mostly think it's fantastic. I've put it down for month or two here and there, and have 31 characters, 16 of them in the 80s, a max lvl (90), and have spent $5 on it in total. Also, I play with Japanese voice over and have found it to be excellent!
I'm playing it for the first time, currently lvl 6, and I'm having an absolute blast. I've had it crash one time so far after a death at the loading screen which isn't a big deal to me. I'm playing on the "Blood and Broken Bones!" difficulty and I'm pleased with the challenge in combat. Noticed last night that I was starting to use signs with the fast cast a lot more seamlessly and that was pretty gratifying as I've been dying a bunch lol. To me, so far, it's perfect.
The first one is on the backlog, and this one looked very interesting. I actually got to the first planet in Fallen Order and just wasn't interested. I'll try it again tho
Bought Hades on PC, and again for PS5. Absolutely love it. 2 will be like $25 bucks which is crazy considering how many hours I'll put in to it. If it's as good as the first, I'd pay $70.
@UltimateOtaku91 I can see them honoring their promise of keeping CoD on other platforms, but only for the amount of time they are saying, and not a second longer. Their long term goal is in 15-20 years, have gamepass be the only real option, and raise the price astronomically. Think when NBA 2k was $30 15 years ago, and the disgusting mess it is today.
I played Mass Effect 1&2 when they came out, and finally played ME 3 earlier this year when I bought the Legendary Edition. I loved all 3. I hope maybe a few people will play them for the first time and be blown away like I was
So, just going off of what was linked in this article, a twitter user was upset about a 3 day early access period and had some serious entitlement. The EA person told them that they're dumb.
The social media manager was being rude...in response to a little jerk. I'm very much okay with that. I've seen some of my favorite games ruined by the vocal minority, so I'm fine with this person being lit up
In the update to this article, it doesn't seem like they are denying anything.
Makes me realize that it blows my mind that Supergiant just kinda didn't do anything with Hades after release. I bought the game on two different platforms just to support them.
Freaking awesome. I bought the complete edition last year for the update. I've almost caved a few times and played it after clearing up my backlog. Glad my first playthrough will be at 60fps 🙂
There's a scene in season 2 where Ciri says something to the effect of "Just because I where a dress, doesn't mean I'm not badass". And Geralt responds, "I know". The way that Cavill delivered that line has stuck in my head
Played the 2018 one earlier this year for the first time, and was blown away. Looking forward to Ragnarok, but I'm having a blast going through my extensive backlog that I probably won't get to until this time next year.
I played OW on pc until about 2 years ago. Just played a few competitive matches on PS5, and it was definitely fun. Going to 5v5 lost something big though (besides a player a team). Losing a player on each team may make games faster, but you're losing offensive and defensive strategy, so winning doesn't feel as satisfying. The "oh *****" moments of players popping ultimates at the right time together is even harder to find than it was before. That was the coolest part of the game to me, and it feels like that's been taken away.
Just spent $5 on some in game thing, gave me 53 points, which... that's cool I guess. Funny thing to me though is Hades is 6,250 points, and it's the only physical PS5 game I own.
Also, I'd donate my 53 points to anyone who doesn't have Hades. It's there with Castlevania 3 and Ocarina for me
I lost interest in this game quick, so maybe this will get me to play it again. Enemies were bland, and the final boss was extremely disappointing. Played 20XX and Hades before it so maybe I'm spoiled
I personally find English dubs to usually be awful. I think that's why I've only recently started to watch some anime over the last few years. I'd check one out on tv as a kid and it sounded corny as hell.
I hope they take all the time they need to make this a good one. I can't say I'm hardcore One Piece fan cause I've only watched what's on Netflix, but what I've seen is absolutely fantastic.
Also, I need a Tony Tony Chopper peaking around a corner the wrong way tattoo someday 😂
I mean, how do people not see what Microsoft is planning down the line? It's blatantly obvious. As if the biggest entertainment industry in the world can be had for cheap and there won't be a MASSIVE price increase or SEVERE cut in quality. What's coming is both.

Re: NBA 2K23 (PS5) - Not Even Microtransactions Can Ruin Revolutionary Franchise Mode
"Not Even Microtransactions Can Ruin Revolutionary Franchise Mode" it can though, because it's why I don't buy these games anymore.
