Ouch. Funny, I actually downloaded NBA 2k24 yesterday (funny enough, I know) and I wish I didn't delete it after 2 games now because of how hard I laughed at 90s Bulls gaurd Steve Kerr. I mean I was cry laughing when he entered. Looked like he was morphing into a mfing hedgehog but stopped halfway. Anyway, San Diego Studios should've been able to do $700mil Ohtani justice.

It's in my top 3 with Ocarina and Castlevania lll so I definitely hope that it'll be fantastic, but I can't say I expect it to be.

As far as a release date, whenever it is they should add a week to it so they can get modders to fix it in their free time before it's released rather than after.

Seems pretty cool and exciting for the future from the little that's known and the even less that I understand. Applying this to future games sounds great, but would it affect games already out? Like would Bloodborne all of a sudden run at 60?

I'm sure watching the trailers for PSVR2 games on a TV is no way to judge them fairly, but I just watched a bunch on the PS store and wow...with the exception of a handful like the Resident Evils and Horizon, they look just horrendous. Like the beta for the Switch version of a Wii U game that was meant for the PS3 is how the vast majority look to me...and uh, I don't want that.

Speaking of co-op superhero games, man, I wish I could get X-Men Legends 2, or even an Ultimate Alliance on the PS5 😔 Either would be an instant purchase for me.

I don't dare to dream of a new Legends or Alliance though lol. Be too sad seeing characters that should be unlocked by playing, instead part of a paid pass or just straight up $5+.

Waiting to play it still. I really wish I would've tried the demo on my 1080p tv as well, instead of only the 4k, to see if performance mode looked better on it, but oh well.

Waited until the end of last year to play Remake, which I absolutely loved, and I'm fine waiting years to play Rebirth. It's awesome to see that a lot of people really love it though! 🤘

@JuiceboxMeister Dropped in a game that was in progress last night. Immediately entered the combo for the railgun upon landing, but accidentally hit ➡️ again after, selecting my impact grenade...which I threw at my feet...killing me instantly and blowing my lifeless body into the air. It wasn't easy to stop laughing lol. So yeah, I'm right there with you, haven't enjoyed a game this much in quite some time 🙂

Yeah, I mean when I saw the trailer (think it was during the game awards?) I was just kinda "meh, alright" and had no intention of getting it. Then it came out and after reading the articles about it, and seeing how not mean and nasty most of the community was being about the technical issues, I had to get it.

Read something about lowering the resolution of your tv makes performance mode look less awful. Wondering if the people saying it looks "incredible" are playing on a 1080p set, because playing the demo a day before release on a 4k in performance mode was amazingly bad.

@KundaliniRising333 Definitely. I played the demo last night and performance mode was shockingly blurry. As if the hdmi wasn't connected properly or was damaged.

Played the demo recently and was pretty fun. Didn't buy it mainly because of my wild backlog. But after finally finding Shaolin and Wu Tang without the terrible English dub, I'm super pumped to play!

After seeing the news about the stock dropping 10 billion in value a week ago, I was wondering what would happen.

Glad they got things stabilized, that had to be an immensely stressful time for them.

Can't wait to see what they have planned for it. The game freaking rules as is, and thinking about what they could add is exciting.

Also, the "eradicate automatons" are quick and easy for xp and money, even solo on suicidal difficulty. An Orbital laser and a mortar sentry or two and it's gg 🙂

I personally just don't understand the push from WB for the Suicide Squad in general, considering the enormous amount of money they've lost on the movies. The Harley Quinn Halloween costume was crazy popular that one year, maybe they're going off of that?

There was a game called "Future Cop: LAPD" for the PS1 that some friends and I found to be an absolute blast back in the day. Like, where you gotta stop and catch your breath from laughing so hard. I just checked what score it got and it's around an 8, which is fair I think.

The fun factor was a 10 though, and I have more vivid memories of playing that game 25 years ago than many higher rated games within the last 10.

Helldivers 2 is a 10 on the fun as well, while I think an 8 or a 9 is fair.

Even though I'm currently fighting for democracy one orbital strike at a time, I've wanted to try No Man's Sky for quite awhile. Definitely going to check it out.

@TheCollector316 Bret did a signing near me in the 90's when I was a kid. Me and my friends couldn't afford it, so we waited out back by a limo just to see him when he left. He came out, saw the roughly 10 of us broke kids, and his face lit up. He spent a good few minutes talking to us, and took off. Bret rocks 🤘

Played a bunch of the multiplayer and had a lot of fun for a bit, but I felt the lack of content pretty quickly, and then looking at the wild microtransactions turned me off completely 🙁

If that's true, I guess I'm confused as to why PS was so staunchly opposed to the ABK acquisition yet heard nothing from Netflix, Spotify, etc, hear nothing from PS about other huge mergers and aquisitions, and @get2sammyb wrote here "The challenge for Sony is whether it has pockets deep enough to compete on this kind of level" but if all entertainment is as much of a competitor as Xbox, then did the Fox-Disney deal put pressure on PS too?

A business losing it's largest competitor doesn't usually result with happy customers, so I think the concern is valid.

Going on a journey in 19th century Russia as a nun with the devil as your bud, made by a team that sounds like they essentially fled to Kazakhstan from 21st century Russia that'll be donating to the kids in Ukraine. I mean you can't really get more badass imo.

@Casco I had upgraded to premium for the last month of my sub solely for the trial for Baldur's Gate. Without the trial I wouldn't have purchased it, for sure not at full price, cause I really didn't know if I'd dig it. So yeah, even ridiculous for PlayStation's side, as they're kind of locking themselves out of way more of my money lol

Probably waiting until the complete game comes out and is on a heavy sale. Not sure though, the dlc in the genre is so out of control that I may just be totally grossed out and done with it like sports games.

Looks interesting cause I think Splatoon is excellent, but I hate how "Support from Square Enix will last for one year" sounds too much as well as being completely over "seasonal exclusive content and skins". Hope ppl have fun with it though!

Just got Baldur's Gate recently after not being sure if I'd dig it, and wow, SO MUCH FUN! I can see myself still playing it years later like Skyrim, Mass Effect, or any Zelda.

When I finally decided to check out the current season after it had been out for some time, first thing that happened was the quest item at the end of a dungeon spawned inside a fountain making the item inaccessible. Read that I could exit and run back to the end, but just said "nah" and uninstalled lol. Sucks cause it can be a fun game sometimes, I think

Always been interested in playing Sea of Thieves to see how the pvp is. Starting massive open world pvp wars in Hillsbrad Foothills in Vanilla WoW was as much fun as I've ever had in a game and have wondered if something similar was possible in SoT.

I'm pretty sure Gran Turismo 7 was added for $30. Spotted Remnant 2 also for $30.
