@danlk1ng I'm sure your right, I mean it is a game with perfect graphics, game play, performance, storey line and ability to choose difficulty level so nothing to be improved on, oh wait...

You are obviously a fan, and for that I am happy for you that it is has come out and you can have many happy hours of gaming but if you can't conceded that a game to get 10 /10 it must be perfect, then I don't know. I wonder how you would feel if a game you didn't like got full marks, would you still be so passionate in your view that your opinion of the game has no relevance?

For the game and the fans sake, I hope it lives up to expectations and I hope that players give honest ratings (unlike the bombing of Horizon recently)

@danlk1ng I was very careful not to give the game a rating, firstly as I haven't played it but more importantly because if I don't like it, doesn't mean it isn't a good game. However, I do disagree agree with you implying that if it isn't to players taste that shouldn't come into the games rating as there must be reasons why I don't like it and for that reason the game can't be perfect. If the game was rated 8/10 with a statement somewhat like 'best game in a generation but may not be to everyone's taste' , I wouldn't have a problem with that, but to give it a perfect score is not possible

Not to be a hater but I am allowed a view, how can a game get 10/10 when it hasn't been finished and even more importantly not everyone will like it, myself included? I played bloodborne and didn't like it so my view is based on that. Surely if a game is rated 10/10 it is perfect and has no fault to it and as such, everyone should love it, that is just not possible. Appreciate people have different tastes, but to score a game a perfect 10 is being disengenerous

@get2sammyb not sure you know the answer to this but I went onto PS store and could only find the legacy collection for £44. 99 and not the £10 as stated. Any idea why?

I have to say that I think Sammy is right but he missed a massive point, Sony could do waaaaaaay more to stop the scapler practice.
I have a PS5 from launch but can imagine how others will feel that they are being ignored buy Sony, surely there is something they can do to ensure everyone has a fair chance of getting a console. Even worse is they are punishing those who don't have one with these practices

I know I am in the minority here but I prefer none leaking as the time before I get to try the new games are greatly rescued. Leaking=additional waiting time before playing

I know release date doesn't change but me thinking about playing the new games starts earlier. Like planning Christmas in January

@TheRedComet cheers for the reply, I admit that I have my prejudge thoughts on the Switch before even picking one up (to be fair, I think a number of players do, as this article above shows, and various fanboy comments on multiple website), however I would be willing to give it go to see to see for myself. I think nowadays we are all spoilt for choice, when going up all I had was a Nintendo with a dodgy cartridge, with a 500 in 1 games. The cartridge was always dodgy and had find ways to hold it in position to get it to work and the 500 games had the same game over and over with slight variations, there was no way to save progress which meant getting past your previous high score or level completion was an all night slog but know what, I loved it

@UltimateOtaku91 thank you for taking the time and effort to reply. Yes I think you nailed it for me, the games look very cartoony and I like more of the realistic feel. I am interested, what is it that made you buy (I assume you bought) a Switch?

Honest question, I have never played the Switch because when I see it advertised it looks like it target market is kids (7-14 years old) and that gameplay immaturity just doesn't appeal to me.

So question, is the Switch as good for the older generation gamers like myself or do the high sales represent my thoughts that mommy and daddy want to appease the kids at Christmas or birthday with a shiny new toy?

Wow what a recap, fantastic job. What an incredible story line.
Often I try explain to people who don't play video games, how excellent story lines in games can be (lots come to mind, Last of us...) and they are truely epic experiences unfolding as you play. You just don't get that with tv IMHO.
My favourite part of the article was when they found out all life was doomed and he used this line

"That is about as bad as bad news can be. Was probably a Monday as well."

Sony has Naughty dog, if this means that this will force them to setup more studios with a similar quality, then I say buy MS, buy away! Force Sony to create more independent games, because us playstation'ers will love that, so thank you in advance

Money Money Money Sony is making some their games available on other platforms for more money and loosing their advantage. MS is buying out developers to get that advantage and earn more money money money

Wow, First time I have appreciated being a rubbish player because if someone good plays, takes 60hrs, but it takes me 70hrs, so pound for pound, I have got more value from the game as it lasted me 10hrs longer - win for me
