@ShogunRok as a matter of interest, in very large games, do you guys at Push Square share the side quests so you can cover all of the game quicker or would one player try do the whole game?
@SurvivorGirl1 why do you hate her do much? What you have done if you were in her situation? Ironically based on you name, I would have guessed you'd have done the same as her. Best way to view Abby is not in the eyes of Ellie but in the eyes of Abby
@readyletsgo I agree that I didn't connect with her on the first play through but I guess it was because of my loyalty to Joel and Ellie. Having said that, on the 2nd play through I found that I actually had a lot of sympathy for her, after what happened to her father and the relationship she built with Lev, shows she is actually a very caring person and would do anything for the people she loves, including becoming strong and giving up her love of her life to someone else. I think when you see her through these eyes, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for who she is, yes you might still not like her but will understand her motives better
Lot of history to get through in the movie, whole of Drake's life but still having to be an adventurous treasure hunter. Not sure you can capture all of that in a 2hour movie but holding thumbs it does the game proud
@MPaulson agree, One show is awful, the dreadful into of trumpets playing us an interlude of what's to come. Watchdogs itself was a stellar show. To now lump it into the One show is sad
Not really related but I have two Fat boy PS3's both backward compatible to PS2, a PS4 and PS5. The PS3s and all my old games have been sitting in storage for years now. Have no need to give them a go with all my PS4 games outstanding. You must really love the oldies if you still want to play them
Finally decided to take Beyond Two Souls out of the 'I'll play it someday, maybe...' bag and fire it up. Got to say I have/am really enjoyed it, yes has it's flaws but encourage anyone who hasn't played it to give it a go. Sammy gave it a 8/10 on ps3 version and 6/10 PS4 revamp. Personally feel 7.5/10 is a fair score. Unique concept of a game
Don't agree that people should be doing this but this actually leaves a bad taste in my mouth with regards to Sony's approach because on the one hand there are a few people are making a few extra bucks a month selling thier account and Sony puts bans for life on them and the other hand, companies are buying 3500 PS5 consels while there is a global shortage and selling them at double the price and Sony takes no action on them. I know who I despise more and its not the guy making a few extra bucks
It appears to me that this game is the 'Marmite' of games, you either love it or hate it, which is fine as everyone is entitled to thier own opinions. What I don't get is that people that don't like it have a vendetta against it and try explain to others why it is s#it. There are a few highly rated games which I don't like or agree as good as others say but I see no need to bad mouth them to the peeps that love them, in fact I think, good for you enjoying a game I didn't, I'm enveyous you got something out of the game which I didn't.
Only game that I have preordered and bought the special edition and loved it. Played it twice, once after each other, which was great as I had a few beers in first played through and missed some of the plot 😂😂. Can definitely see the TLOU3 being the finale... I'm already ready to get my preorder in 😁
@Oz_Momotaro fair challenge, the programmers are probably far cleverer than I will ever be and as you say they probably have created code to activate whenever the product sales become live. Something just doesn't feel right though, just doesn't seem plausible that they can get that many. Also, if they did indeed get that many, wouldn't it make sense NOT to say anything and keep their scadulous trade secrets to themselves, so they can redo it multiple time again in the future on other products without others trying to get in on their actions?
Hmmm, not saying it's true but seems like a lot of speculation. The selling of the PS5 in the UK (and I guess around the world too) was shambolic at best with inaccurate release times, servers been down, instant stockouts... I only managed to get mine when the second and final batch was released by sitting a waiting que for days, watching the clock count down to scheduled opening time and buying it as soon my slot became availabe, there was no waiting around, I had to be quick and no ways I could have ordered two never mine 3500. So my view is that it couldn't have been bots as the release times were all wrong or indeed people as they would have needed an army of people waiting in ques to purchase machines and that just wouldn't have been viable or make economic sense. But if true, then I think there must of been an organised crime syndicate working with specific retailers and getting stock before they were released. If you buy or sell shares in a company to make money or mitigate loss based of information not yet available to the market that will affect the share price of said company , this is called insider trading and is illegal. In a way, if they bought counsels before they were released to market with the intention of profteering this feels like the same thing and should be investigated further by the police and indeed Sony. Wouldn't it be great if Sony could brink the machines they knew had been involved in crimes? Would stop this dodgy business in it's tracks. You might argue that the end consumer loses out, yes agreed initially they would but in other situations this already happens and is accepted to be fair, for example buying a stolen car, police will confiscate it, or buying a bricked IPhone, only worth the parts
Maybe we are all characters within Rick's created game, been advertised to by the creator of his own game, making us belive that we are in control, when in fact this is all just a rouse to keep us knowing the truth...
Am I the only person that feels that Bugsnax is a PS4 game stuck in a PS5 body? I know the PS4 is backward compatible but the game is just so... average. May as well release a PS4 game and call it a PS5 title. Would really love to try Uncharted lost legacy. Talking of Naughty dog, heard rumors of a Last of us movie, after the Uncharted movie, what's next Crash Bandicoot??
I bought mine through Currys, it arrived mid day Thursday. The transparent circle secruitey protector had been opened (weird, but OK...?) took out the controller and it had oily finger marks it. What the hell?! Finally managed to have a Web chat with someone from Currys and asked why if it was brand new on release day would the security tab be open and the controller have finger marks on it. Sounds childish I know but I was really looking forward to treating myself to some new kit. Anyways they said they were happy to replace it because of stock outs across the country I would need to send it back the next day and wait until stock becomes available again. So thought that wasn't a serious option so decided just to accept it as it was. As a good will gesture they gave me £44.44 refund which was appreciated. At this point I took the full system out the box and set her up. She went through all the usual setup requirements, location, time zone, WiFi, latest software installation so it looks like whoever used it didn't want to install any updated information of fear of getting caught, maybe they just wanted to see for themselves what it looked like.
First impressions are Awesome machine, it is strangely more noisy than my ps4 at times but on the whole, very quiet indeed. The controller feels great, well weighted and feels like it has be moulded to perfectly into my hands. Love the tiny squares, triangles, circles and Xs, detailing on the handles, such cool attention to detail and great way to provide grip.
I also bought a SteelSeries Arctis 7 P headset so was testing the both simultaneously
Played Astro's first, what a great freebe game. The haptic in the demo was great, the way I would discribe it would be 360 degree vibration on the controller. Also by pushing lighter on L2 or R2, it reduces the vibration in proportion to the pressure applied. Also love the fact the game gives a nod to days passed, haha calling a PS4 an artifact The sounds through the Steel Series was again amazing, really submersive but I have yet to hear the pin point accuracy of sounds but perhaps as more advanced games come out, I will see the benifit there? Also played Bugsnax, and even though I am enjoying it, feels very PS4ish to me. There is still a (small but noticeable) lag when loading different areas of the map.
From my PS4 titles, I installed TLOU2, graphics look smooth and refined, everything you would expect from Naughty Dog but for some reason, all my trophies had been lost, so maybe it was just my noobess that didn't copy them across properly or something but these should be linked to my profile so I don't know??
Another fav PS4 game I played was Hardware Rivals, (first person car or tank shooter) was issued free on PS a few years ago now. On loading there was a disclaimer saying that some of the ps4 game features would not work on the PS5. Strangely this did appear to be the case as it was a little bit stop start and not free lowing as a game like that should be, this could be attributed to my internet connection but my ps4 seems to be more free flowing
Overall I love the new addition to the family, welcome home PS5
@get2sammyb random question, my work informed me that I will be working in China for a few year starting sometime in the new year. Does the PS5 and PS4 have any Geo restrictions, like playing certain games and having access to the PS store. Also, will I still be able to buy and play digital and disk games bought from and within China? Thank you
