@Matroska Well if the demo is like 2 hours of cut scenes, and they said the game is basically 40 hours and you can double it with bonus content, it sounds like it's going to be a final fantasy 13 situation where they hold your hand thru cutscenes until you get to gran pulse, I mean the end game.

@Sakai Squares problem is media oversaturation. They spend too much money so everybody talks about them all the time and more often than not, We don't have anything nice to say anymore. They make it kind of easy when they drop stuff like babylon's fall and forspoken, And then beg and panic over final fantasy.

But yeah people will say this is sony this time, when they do this for every FF and oversaturate media w PRs for everything else.
They had pop up cafes in jamie oliver restaurants for final fantasy fifteen.

But yeah, they DO blow a ridiculous amount of money on marketing for everything and then complain they didn't get their money back, because they don't know how to market for crap. They just throw a lot of money away because they have a lot of money to burn.

@rachetmarvel When I was like ten the scifi channel would run some classics in the morning like Akira, Roujin Z, Record of Lodoss War, Vampire Hunter D, etc.

I've never been a fan of the DMC "style over substance" combat. FF has been kinda SoS since Nomura though, so that fits actually.

@Fiendish-Beaver There are features in the game, like items you can equip, that will auto complete combos for you, etc.

Accessibility features are present, should have no worries

@themightyant true, but the guy is all about blockchain, so this Is just a changing of a guard, not going in a new direction. Matsuda is very unpopular and said some very unsavory things, But nothing out of corporate has suggested this is going in any other direction.

A year is the Longshot guesstimate for SE GaaS ventures.

As for NFTs, They had to hype symbiogenesis with some gaslighting a la parasite eve, and that project was basically DOA. No one talks about it.
