I've been an Ultimate subscriber for years. I'm switching to PC only now. I Do play LOTS of games on Game Pass. So technically i probably get my moneys worth but this is way too big a price jump. Hopefully they don't price me out of PC too...

Fortnite is weird...

I know its a sequel but it looks just too similar to the first one for me to be THAT excited about it. Combat looks the same, duelling rings look the same, wind blowing the same. I might just wait a bit on this one.

Borderlands is a PC game to me. I'm gonna wait till they iron out the performance issues.

I know they won't do this but I wish they would allow me to use the PS5 disc drive on the PS6. Even if its just connected by a cord.

I was never upset at their strategy to make live-service games. I'm upset they made most of their best single-player studios develop them, then cancel them... Now since game development time is so high we may not even get a single new game this entire generation from some studios.

I know it takes a while to make a mainline Persona game. But surely if they skipped 1 or 2 spin offs we would get it faster?

Seems like a good candidate for Game Pass.

I was going to play it but on PC it requires you to change a BIOS setting that I'm not willing to mess with for their anti-cheat system. Leave it to EA to always disappoint in some way.

I played the demo a few weeks ago on steam. I wasn't really feeling it. Maybe good reviews will convince me to try it again.

@LifeGirl During the event they had the developers kept saying "We are listening to the fans". Which bothers me because yeah, no ***** you should be listening to the fans. It took 2 entire failure games for them to finally say "gee, maybe we should ask the fans what they want". Selling anything 101

It does look good but I've been fooled before... multiple times by Battlefield so I will be waiting a week or 2 after release before deciding to buy it.

I'll never get over the fact that PVZ 1 was so damn good and they put out an insane microtransaction mess as the second one. Such a waste.

@TimeDelayedGamer If this law is "needlessly authoritarian" you can also argue age restrictions on cigarettes, alcohol and drugs are. You could also argue that having to register to buy is gun is "needlessly authoritarian". Or to get a drivers licence. Or to vote. Yes kids still get alcohol and cigarettes. But we have had laws for decades that require ID for it and it hasn't been some crazy slippery slope to authoritarianism. There is a weird, desperate defence for porn these days. Its never for the reasons people say. Its because people are addicted and they are ashamed they might have to admit it by registering.

@TimeDelayedGamer I will never understand this mentality "Well they will get their hands on it anyways so why bother". So why do we bother having age restrictions on alcohol, cigarettes or drugs? By your logic they will get it anyways right? If people are so hard up to watch porn they can confirm their age. Just like they do for many other things in society. You willingly give your information to endless amounts of ***** online already so I don't buy this "information will be stolen" argument.

@Olmaz I think the people who claim porn isn't bad for kids are porn addicts themselves and use it as a defence mechanism to justify their addictions. Porn is bad for kids, period. Excessive porn is bad for society in general. I grew up in the 90's. If my horny teen self had the access kids have today I would never have left my house. Something needs to be done.

@tangyzesty A few things in Shadows really annoyed me. The motivations of the characters were so up and down. Like why would Naoe be so willing to work with Yasuke after what he did? Also the ties to the greater universe of assassins was weak as hell. So its a bunch of abandoned assassin's bureaus again...? Just like in Valhalla... A small mention of Ezio in Rome... Its just so lazy and low effort.

Ghosts on the other hand, the story is beautifully told with very deep and interesting characters who all have arcs. The combat remained fun and challenging the entire game. In AC you eventually become so powerful nothing is a challenge...

I'm genuinely curious what you found better about Shadows?

I finished Shadows when it came out and I'm replaying Ghost of Tsushima right now because I never did the DLC. It's honestly disgusting how much better Ghost is. Shadows feels like some kid hastily copied the smart kids homework.

Thats weird I would have at least thought Stranger Than Heaven was next year because of how fast RGG gets their games out.

This is a really smart move by Xbox. As it stands now I'm not planning on getting a PS6. Why would I? Sony has made it clear they don't believe in generations. So I'm sure 95% of the new games will be playable on my PS5 Pro. As for the exclusives, they will be out on steam eventually and I can get them at that point. The game is changing and I don't think Sony is ready for where its going.

Wait so there was this Black Panther game and another Captain America and Black Panther game being made? No offence but Black Panther isn't that compelling to have 2 games being developed.

I was kind of bummed when they announced MK1 because their last game was MK12. I wanted Injustice.

I know for me specifically I've lost general hype for Playstation over the years. That is due to the low key marketing they are doing. I play on everything and will say Xbox still keeps the hype up their consistency with directs and showcases. Take the Ghost of Yotai release announce for example. Can you get any more anti climactic than that? Show us things Sony! We want to be excited!

What even is a Playstation Showcase at this point? Say what you want about Xbox but we still, every year, get a big fun showcase in June. Keeping that old E3 energy alive is a huge + in my book.
