Thats weird I would have at least thought Stranger Than Heaven was next year because of how fast RGG gets their games out.

This is a really smart move by Xbox. As it stands now I'm not planning on getting a PS6. Why would I? Sony has made it clear they don't believe in generations. So I'm sure 95% of the new games will be playable on my PS5 Pro. As for the exclusives, they will be out on steam eventually and I can get them at that point. The game is changing and I don't think Sony is ready for where its going.

Weird. Its like people WANT a big E3 type showing of new game reveals... Who would have thought?

I was kind of bummed when they announced MK1 because their last game was MK12. I wanted Injustice.

I know for me specifically I've lost general hype for Playstation over the years. That is due to the low key marketing they are doing. I play on everything and will say Xbox still keeps the hype up their consistency with directs and showcases. Take the Ghost of Yotai release announce for example. Can you get any more anti climactic than that? Show us things Sony! We want to be excited!

What even is a Playstation Showcase at this point? Say what you want about Xbox but we still, every year, get a big fun showcase in June. Keeping that old E3 energy alive is a huge + in my book.

I really wish that Steam wouldn't allow reviews to early access games. No Rest For The Wicked has lots of potential and its getting better all the time. But I won't write a review for something that isn't officially released. review bombing positive or negative an unreleased game should not be possible.

I already don't have time to finish all the games I want to play. More 12-15 hour games please.

For me its going to depend on the writing. If the humour is super cringe like the last one I might skip it.

I would gladly have paid for the upgrade to play this from the PS+ copy they gave. But since they want full price you get NOTHING, good day sir.

@Pixipantalon Well to be fair to me the Outlaws that exists now would never have happened. I would have just pitched a pre episode 4 Han Solo game. Sorry if some people were so enamoured with the oh so interesting Kay Vess... but a similar game with Han Solo would have certainly sold better and been received better.

I wouldn't spend more than 39.99 for this. And that would be after positive reviews hit. Also here's a crazy thought. Why don't they include the first battle pass for free. Just throw people a bone and give them a reason to keep playing that doesn't involve reaching into their wallets right away.

I still don't understand the point of a random shadow drop? Xbox has a crazy lineup for the next couple months. Why not hold Oblivion and drop it during the June spotlight?

I've played every AC game. Shadows was profoundly disappointing. The 2 character system was just annoying because each was half a regular AC character. Had lots of problems with the story and characters motivations. No way to mediate or wait to move time along. So half the game is pitch black which sucks because the game does look good so arriving in a new town in the dead of night was just lame.

Not for 700$ Canadian... These new consoles are way too expensive and Mario Kart is not good enough to sell a new console.

Hopefully its enough to keep them going. I know they are not making enough money off me. I bought a month of Ubi+ and I'm playing Shadows, Outlaws, Prince of Persia and possibly Mirage. Then cancelling.

AC shadows is really disappointing. Each character is half of a character. You used to be able to sneak and if you get caught you can fight your way out. Naoe can not fight well. Yasuke can fight really well but he can't stealth or climb things. It is so frustrating. I give it a 6.

Good thing they spent so much wasted time developing Last Of Us online just to realize "oh *****! we need to support this thing?!?!?!" dummys...

Very weird to compare steam all time numbers of Valhalla with Shadows. Valhalla didn't launch on steam so obviously the all time players for that would be lower. Its not a flex for Shadows to beat that...

They forgot the first and most fundamental part of making a Saints Row game. Fun...

@Pandalulz Sacred Symbols is certainly an acquired taste. But take it from me I was all in on many many gaming podcasts and Sacred Symbols is one of the best. Back in the late 2000's I listened to Gamespots On The Spot, many different 1up podcasts, and of course the Giant Bombcast. I've been a patron of Last Stand since it started and I love all of their podcasts. 5 dollars a month is a steal for how much you get. And damn some of the interviews Colin gets are crazy. He's had Ken Levine on twice and did 2 hours with Shuhei Yoshida.

@Pandalulz I used to love Jeff. Back when he was at Gamespot and then Giant Bomb. But I just grew away from them after awhile. Now I get my podcast fix from Sacred Symbols. It would be awesome if Colin had Jeff on or vice versa.

I've wanted this game but it never seems to go on sale. Guess I'll keep waiting.

I bought this game on Steam when it first went early access. It has a lot of potential. I would describe it as Diablo souls like.

@LikelySatan It doesn't take that long. basically once you get telekinesis the combat really slaps.

I'm still excited for this but I'm not thrilled with the 2 character system. Particularly the fact that Yasuke can't parkour and climb well. To me that is the bare minimum an AC character should be able to do.

I would have been ok with Rock Steady shutting down over Monolith.

Wait a second. I thought Dragon Age was an amazing game and it did so well and scored so high in reviews. "A return to form" for Bioware. Why is it so quickly dumped onto PS+?

@wildcat_kickz This isn't merely just "making a new account". This is one of the biggest game publishers on the planet not being able to figure out how to sell their games in all the country's that even tiny publishers have figured out. I would say this is pretty warranted outrage.

@AhmadSumadi Absolutly not. Even thought its pretty much completely finished we had no idea that it would require people to support and maintain it. You get NOTHING good day sir.

@BirdUp Only 6 people got laid off. But all these news stories that say "Entire US team laid off!!" makes it sound so much worse. I'm honestly not sure why or how it ended up being such a big story.

I'm not defending this move but if you have a studio in Seattle that costs X amount and you can do the same thing in China for cheaper they will probably make that call.

Should I play World before I play Wilds? I've never played Monster Hunter but I'm curious.

I'm always more optimistic for State of Play when they don't say specifically what they showing.

I've always wanted to try this game but its never been on monthly PS+ nor PS+ extra. Why don't they put this on as a monthly game and gauge some interest in it. Feels like they just want to forget it.
