I hate that Sony has made State of Plays not exciting anymore. My expectations are so low that I may not even watch it live.

Why would anyone be sold on buying this thing? Paying an insane price to get fidelity and performance mode combined? They should have showed a new game running on it. Give us a reason to buy it.

almost 1000 bucks Canadian for nicer graphics running at 60 fps? They didn't even show anything new that would give us a real reason to buy this thing. For that reason... I'm out.

This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. We are all hours down the track just watching a boulder on the track waiting for the complete derailment.

You should buy this anyways because the game is awesome. Would be an amazing bonus to get a sequel.

If we are being honest Ubisoft probably thought that Yasuke would be a shield against all criticism. I guess they never thought about Japanese people being upset by it... I'm still really excited to play it. But I see what you are doing Ubisoft.

I played it for about 2 hours. Tried a few different heroes. This game is honestly DOA especially when they are charging the price they are charging. Why wouldn't you play Overwatch or Valorant or any other F2P shooter that has already ironed out their problems long ago and are totally FREE. Concord is clunky and unoriginal. I'm sure this game is going F2P in a few months and even then its going to flounder.

Man these guys can really pump out games. Good quality games at that.

If only we had some good examples of why not to go live service... oh well, another one bites the dust.

I'm going to try it next weekend. My issue is the price. 50 bucks Cdn is just a bit too much for something like this IMO. I mean like seriously convince me to spend that money or download Valorant for free? They both look very similar but one is free...

I haven't played it but it just seems so generic. It just looks like Overwatch or Valorant with literally nothing new or interesting. Like what's the hook to get people to try it or switch games?

Personally I still find great value with Game Pass even at this higher price. But I recognize its getting harder for a casual player to get that same value if they only play a few games a year. I play many games a month on Game Pass so its still amazing for me.

I quit Apex about 4 months ago. Glad I did.

Every new thing they show for this game is just a hammer smashing it to even more pieces...

@CutchuSlow I know what you mean. I used to go to PAX every year. The first few years in the early 2010's they were there in full force. I remember seeing a behind closed doors demo of Last of Us. The next year Neil Druckmann was signing autographs which was great I got a couple minutes to chat with him too. But then over the past years before covid its crickets... Sony is making it really hard to be excited for Playstation.

Sony is the market leader at the moment but this kind of behavior is giving me PS3 era vibes. I love Playstation but damn I'm tired of this drip feed of nothing. I hope Xbox starts doing better just so it forces Sony to get scrappy again. Remember that old video of how to share games on PS4? Bring that back.

I started playing Elden Ring last night for the first time. I was on performance mode and it still seems to run inconsistent. Anyone know if there is something else I can do to get it to run smoother?

Man I love AC games so much. My gaming guilty pleasure. I'm replaying AC odyssey and its just great. I always stop and just look around at how beautiful it is. Love the history and cultures.

To me this game is too late. The hero shooter goldrush is over. Its like World of Warcraft all over again. People are trying to chase that MMORPG money.

I really hope they make an action game next. Not really into these pseudo walking sims. DMC and Enslaved were excellent games with great stories and great gameplay.

It looks cool I guess. But I just keep asking myself. Why isn't this just a Han Solo game? Now I'm not a game developer or a creator but... I'm thinking if this game was exactly the same but Han Solo it would be like +100% hype right?

I've always wanted to play this game. Got it on Wii a few years ago but I don't want to lug that thing out. Very excited.

I kept getting booted mid match. Hopefully they can get this fixed sooner rather than later. Don't want to miss out on all the hype.

Persona has historically come out on one place, Playstation. So I'm glad they finally realized that there is a market for Persona on multiple platforms. I've been playing it on Game Pass PC and loving it.

Never a good sign when review codes are not sent out early. Such a tragic downfall for one of the best AAA studios. Spending 9 years to produce a live service mess like this is sad. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the studio gets shut down after this.

I just started Cyberpunk last week. What a game. I'm so glad I waited till it was in a good state and DLC to play it.
