I'm glad you can upgrade for cheap. I could have seen them just charging full price regardless.

I'm rooting for them. But Its very much a wait and see before I buy it. Which is crazy because if you told me 6 years ago that a Rocksteady game would be a wait and see I would have called you crazy.

Demo is really good. Even though this game seems really damn good I'm not going to pay 70 CND for it. I'll wait for it on game pass or something.

I play tons of Apex and was really excited for this event. This event is uniquely expensive. You cant use crafting material to buy any of the event items to make it cheaper and none of the skins you buy come with event packs. Super disappointing since I had tons of crafting material saved up just for this event.

Holy smokes. Tons of great indies coming out this year. Certainly more than Sony's first party...

I honestly cant remember a month that was better than this for a long time.

@twitchtvpat Well if what you say is true then they should have a game ready in 2024 if their timetable lines up with their other recent releases. But I'm not gonna hold my breath. Maybe those "other single player projects" were TLOU part 1 and TLOU 2 remaster? If so its still years away from something new. Not sure why people insist on spinning this as anything other than a horrible mismanagement, as well as an insane waste of time, money and talent.

@Splat Well if what they said in the post is true that if they continued with this they would have to devote most of the studio to maintaining it in perpetuity. Then I'm glad its cancelled.

Bro... They should be getting close to releasing a new game but NO, they had to fart around for YEARS... YEARS on this cancelled project. So I guess we just get maybe 1 Naughty Dog game this generation? Maybe...? The management needs to be completely upended after this.

This kind of reminds me of when the Doom Eternal DLC came out. I was really excited but since I hadn't played Doom in months I was so rusty I couldn't handle it. Its been over a year since Ragnorok I just don't think I'll be able to jump into a combat focused mode after being away so long.

@Futureshark You have totally missed the point. All those shows sound dumb sure. But some people like them and paid money to have them in their library. Sony should give people full refunds over this. You laugh now but some day, it will be something you like so I suggest you resist now instead of laughing about it.

This checks out. I've always described Assassins Creed as historical Forrest Gump. You will run into many historical figures in each game.

Sam Lake is on Kojima's level at this point. What Remedy does with their small budgets and short time spans is nothing short of magic. Playstation buys Bungie for their multiplayer expertise? Buy Remedy so you can find out how they make AAA quality on budget finance and time.

Now if only we knew what they were working on.

This is what you get. You wanted to go back to the roots. I personally love the new and old versions of AC. I'll wait for a sale on this one.

ND has been farting around for years now. They better show something soon. They are dropping hard in the rankings of Sony's best studios.

@trev666 Normally I would agree with you. I would even agree that most of the side content in Remake was so so. But I enjoyed every second of it because you could tell how much love was put into the game and the nostalgia from being back in that world made it all worth doing to me. Granted this is unique to this game.
