I still haven’t played Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (heard there were spoilers for “The Answer” in it so I’m waiting until I buy that. If there’s not, I’ve been wasting time per usual) and SF6 which I impulse bought, so I’ll have to put this on the wait list. I’m not even a big “fighting” genre player 😂😂 Looks gorgeous and probably worth it for people who love DB. I’ll get to it eventually!

That kinda sucks if Sony does that. It alienates people who only have a PS4. I don’t know if the PS4/PS5 store is the same so maybe it’s only for the PS5 store? I’m thinking they’re the same tho. I hope they don’t delist Horizon Zero Dawn too if they go this route

The only “live service” games I’m ever considering trying are FFXIV (but I’m overwhelmed on where to start) and the Persona 5 game that’ll eventually launch in English. I tried Genshin but it wasn’t for me. I’m just not big into shooters like Fortnite (lol I think it’s a shooter) or live service games in general

Yeah I loved DS but I hate this idea of potentially having to use photo mode for anything major. Sure, side missions are fine but I’m not interested in doing this for major story bits

I’m not a tech guy but will the PS5 Pro help the performance of games like FFXVI automatically? I really want to play this game on hard mode but I’ve been waiting for patches/the DLC that’s already released. I’m surprised it’s not getting a “designed boost” because it was a Sony exclusive.

There’s no world where Anya doesn’t convince Yor or Loid to buy her the PS5 Pro. If it’s for the betterment of the mission, Loid will buy that PS5 Pro at all costs. In fact, he’d be on eBay getting fleeced for the 30th Anniversary Edition if it prevented Anya from a tontrius bolt.

Ace Attorney 3. Just finished the first case

I’m probably waiting until the PS5 Pro arrives before I play bigger games. Anyone have any VN/point & click/graphic adventure game suggestions on the PS4/PS5 like Disco Elysium (I guess you can count it as point n click), Nonary Games, Doki Doki, AI Somnium Files, etc.? I’ve played others like Broken Sword, Full Throttle, Deponia, and more.

I’d preferably want something closer to Ace Attorney if possible! I’ve been thinking about Gnosia for awhile now too.

If you don’t already have it, just buy it on disc for cheap if you have the disc console. If not, that’s the problem going all digital: Sony can change the prices whenever unlike a 2nd hand market which used games or even months old new games go for much less

Unlike most, I’m fine with a Days Gone Remaster because maybe it means Days Gone 2 isn’t impossible. If not for that, I’d say a remaster is pretty unnecessary. I’d much prefer them bring back some PS3 exclusives to modern consoles because I missed that generation completely. So anything that hasn’t made its way back to PS4/PS5 I’d be pumped for.

Spider-Man 2 DLC and an update on anything Santa Monica would be fantastic. I can’t see anything Naughty Dog tomorrow. I wouldn’t ve surprised if Astrobot announces a couple free DLC levels or some fun task. Ghost of Tsushima 2 would be a dream but I’m doubting any news tomorrow

I’m fine with companies bringing games to the modern consoles but not if it’s absorbing all their talents’ time AND if it’s already available via backwards compatibility. There’s only so many times people can replay games. Of course there are some exceptions but yeah, I’d much prefer companies spend their talents and time on new IPs or sequels with updated & more advanced gameplay/features. But a remaster here and there if appropriate is fine IMO

@Americansamurai1 I think a lot would be excited for any Gravity Rush or Days Gone. GOW 2018 too to an extent. But I’m leaning the remaster is GOW 2018 tbh

Just finished Ace Attorney 1 so now I’m replaying Octopath Traveler 2 for the PS4 trophies. Such a beautiful game! Going through all the chapter 1’s now

Yeah there’s no way I buy this at launch. This game will be heavily discounted by February at the latest. Also, if it’s as bloated as Valhalla, it’ll be hard for me to commit to it

I really wish this came out in the early to mid summertime because I would’ve bought it Day 1 easy. With the NFL & NCAAF going on, my weekends are pretty booked (until Metaphor ReFantazio releases that is).

Astrobot looks fantastic and I’m sure the DualSense features are top notch and the best of the gen easy.

I’m just turned off that I have to buy a disc drive on top of the system. It’s already expensive as is. I can afford the PS5 Pro but meh. At least give a discount for the attachable disc drive for people buying on PS Direct or something.

In my opinion, for a new system, an attachable disc drive shouldn’t be an accessory- it should be a requirement if that’s the only model of the system.

I choose graphics mode 100% of the time on my first playthroughs. I have an LG OLED so I like to experience it with that. Plus, I can’t really notice the difference from 30 to 60 FPS too much. It’s not game breaking for me at least. I’m sure if it was pointed out, I’d be able to tell right away. But yeah, graphics mode all the way.

Still absolutely bizarre they’re taking Horizon Forbidden West off PS+. The ONLY reason I can think of that makes a little sense is that they want to capitalize on any new fans from the Lego Horizon game. But will that really get many new fans into the franchise? I’m just not that sure

Regarding this batch of new games, I agree with @ShogunRok- it’s a weak batch. Not much here inspires me to download it. Kinda a bummer since I’m really looking for a new game. I’ve just been playing Ace Attorney for a week which is awesome but… I want some action in my life. I was replaying HFW until I found out it was getting taken off so that’s why I’m bummed over that 😭😭😭

Even when it drops in price, you’ll still have to buy the disc drive if you go physical, so what’s the point really? Might as well wait for the PS6

I’ll probably start waiting for sales. My biggest game franchises like Yakuza, Persona, FF, etc usually go on sales months later. When games ever hit $100 on release, I’m waiting for a mega discount

I’ll take anything Yakuza related. A Gaiden-esque game of Ichiban, Yamai, Akiyama or Majima would be amazing. Judgment 3 would be welcomed. Yakuza 9 is years away so I’m hoping for something to pass me over

I’m not buying this game Day 1 but this game definitely looks like it’s worthy to be a Day 1 purchase. I just have too many other games I’m working through. I’ll hold out hope it’s on Black Friday sales but I doubt it
