The filming and production of Fallout's second TV season from Amazon Prime has had to stop as a result of the many fires currently raging across Los Angeles. Work on the TV show was scheduled to take place in the Santa Clarita area of LA earlier this week, but permits to film in districts in the city have been withdrawn as a result of the emergency. Filming may tentatively restart tomorrow.
Fallout isn't the only project affected by the fires, which have forced close to 180,000 people to evacuate from their homes and killed at least five residents. NBCUniversal stopped production on NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and After Midnight while Disney halted work on the likes of Grey's Anatomy and Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Warner Bros. studio in Burbank was also shut.
While there is no immediate danger posed to the film sets and sound stages of these productions, the air quality is said to be dangerous and LA residents have been told not to use the roads unless necessary.

Those fires look devastating. Anyone here from LA? Hope everyone from that area is safe
Prayers up to everyone affected and all their loved ones 💙💙💙
Every day in 2025 is going to be like

Watching some news clips and its like something from a disaster movie film. Talk about horrible start to 2025 for those affected
Gonna' guess that Bethesda misses their window taking advantage of any potential good will the show may have gained for Fallout. There's no guarantee that the second season won't be terrible or be labeled something or other by the culture warriors.
@LogicStrikesAgain yup I am in LA County
Saw the images and clips on NYTimes. Looks terrible for anyone living in that area. Prayers for all those affected. Hope that things get under control soon and no more lives are affected…
