Yeah there’s no way I buy this at launch. This game will be heavily discounted by February at the latest. Also, if it’s as bloated as Valhalla, it’ll be hard for me to commit to it

I really wish this came out in the early to mid summertime because I would’ve bought it Day 1 easy. With the NFL & NCAAF going on, my weekends are pretty booked (until Metaphor ReFantazio releases that is).

Astrobot looks fantastic and I’m sure the DualSense features are top notch and the best of the gen easy.

I’m just turned off that I have to buy a disc drive on top of the system. It’s already expensive as is. I can afford the PS5 Pro but meh. At least give a discount for the attachable disc drive for people buying on PS Direct or something.

In my opinion, for a new system, an attachable disc drive shouldn’t be an accessory- it should be a requirement if that’s the only model of the system.

I choose graphics mode 100% of the time on my first playthroughs. I have an LG OLED so I like to experience it with that. Plus, I can’t really notice the difference from 30 to 60 FPS too much. It’s not game breaking for me at least. I’m sure if it was pointed out, I’d be able to tell right away. But yeah, graphics mode all the way.

Still absolutely bizarre they’re taking Horizon Forbidden West off PS+. The ONLY reason I can think of that makes a little sense is that they want to capitalize on any new fans from the Lego Horizon game. But will that really get many new fans into the franchise? I’m just not that sure

Regarding this batch of new games, I agree with @ShogunRok- it’s a weak batch. Not much here inspires me to download it. Kinda a bummer since I’m really looking for a new game. I’ve just been playing Ace Attorney for a week which is awesome but… I want some action in my life. I was replaying HFW until I found out it was getting taken off so that’s why I’m bummed over that 😭😭😭

Even when it drops in price, you’ll still have to buy the disc drive if you go physical, so what’s the point really? Might as well wait for the PS6

I’ll probably start waiting for sales. My biggest game franchises like Yakuza, Persona, FF, etc usually go on sales months later. When games ever hit $100 on release, I’m waiting for a mega discount

I’ll take anything Yakuza related. A Gaiden-esque game of Ichiban, Yamai, Akiyama or Majima would be amazing. Judgment 3 would be welcomed. Yakuza 9 is years away so I’m hoping for something to pass me over

I’m not buying this game Day 1 but this game definitely looks like it’s worthy to be a Day 1 purchase. I just have too many other games I’m working through. I’ll hold out hope it’s on Black Friday sales but I doubt it

Infinite Wealth is the only new game this year that I’ve started a replay on. Most games I set a rule for a 1 year break after beating it. LAD: IW is my GOTY, with FF7 Rebirth a close second. Tbh I probably would’ve started hard mode of Rebirth if the mini games didn’t cause me to slam my head against my wall. Screw Jules. I have wrist issues so doing that mini game is like hell to me

I think I have a 2TB one installed then for my PS4 games I have a 3 to 5 TB external one that I even transfer PS5 games to if I’m not playing them any time soon. 8 TB just seems like a lot at that price when you can get what I have much, much cheaper. I’m no Tech Wizard though

Finishing up my first RE7 playthrough on Normal then I might speedrun one playthrough quickly to prep for Madhouse. But I’m saving Madhouse for later. Probably either continue my replay of HFW or Uncharted 4 afterwards

I loved Demon’s Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring/Sekiro but have yet to try a Dark Souls game. I have Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III bought though 😂😂 gonna have to buy Dark Souls Remastered though to play that first

I’ll take whatever since I’ve never played them but I think other FF games deserve remake treatment first

If Tekken and/or Street Fighter did Kiryu, Majima and/or Ichiban justice (which they probably would), I think it’d be a no brainer. It brings more eyes to your games without having to do much.

Good. PlayStation needs new IPs like in the PS4 era where they had Spider-Man, Bloodborne, Horizon & GoT amongst others. As long as this doesn’t make the next GoW delayed by any means, I’m excited for a new IP. Most of the Sony studio games are continuations or remakes/remasters lately

Finishing up my replay of Persona 5 Royal tonight (literally on the last day saying goodbye to everyone 😭😭😭) then I’m at a loss to find what’s next to play. I want to buy Baldur’s Gate 3 but I want it as a physical copy. Costs too much in Larian’s store. I don’t want to replay a game since I’ve replayed both Witcher 3 and P5R back to back. I don’t know what to play 😭😭😭

Can’t blame them. This is going to be a huge issue in the entertainment business for years to come. Getting a leg up now is a smart idea even though more issues will continue to pop up anyways

Size does matter. It’s the reason my last few exs dumped me. It’s not my fault it’s micro. I blame my father. Oh well. Excited to try this game despite my PTSD with the title

I think ATM there will eventually be 4 HoFers from this Celtics squad: Tatum & Brown, Jrue, then Horford. Especially if the C’s win a 2nd championship with this core. @Rmg0731 awesome! I’ve downloaded plenty of the PS1 games but haven’t looked at any PSP. Just was super disappointed when I tried to stream GoW. It lagged so badly that my button inputs were never fully registering during the “button mash” sections. Glad that PSP games aren’t streaming

Are PSP games downloadable and not streamed? Might give R&C Size Matters a whirl

The Witcher 3 but I did watch all of Blue Lock from Wednesday through Saturday. So I’ve been shifting back & forth between the pair until today

I put Infinite Wealth but it’s very close with Rebirth. Both are spectacular games

Good. I’m newer to Resident Evil but loved RE4 Remake. Hopefully it’s similar to that because it was phenomenal IMO.
