I tried a few times to get into the toolset but life, time and talent always got in the way. I always enjoyed dropping in to see what people had made (game, story and music) but that waned and I haven’t loaded it up for at least a year now.
They should have monetised or at least incentivised creations, as Roblox does. It's great to learn that you have a talent but after spending every weekend on a labour of love, you eventually want to get paid and there is no way to even export your works into paying platforms.
Media Molecule should add a Unity export function as a parting gift - allow those individuals that made their project shine an opportunity to keep their work after the eventual switch off.
120Hz is surplus at this point - the current console hardware has to sacrifice too much to achieve it and its barely distinguishable vs 60Hz. I'm hoping the PS5 Pro will manage 4K @ 120Hz but atm, a 120Hz TV is future-proofing.
Sony needs to put a ban on all comms and let the finished product speak for itself now. They're not going to change anyone's opinions at this point and the constant defending comes across as weak.
This is OtherOS all over again! At least they gave you fair warning that they were about to nerf your system with that one - this was done by stealth! CFW is nearly compulsory on these systems now.
Spider-man & Thunderbuddy had no on-screen chemistry and I didn't buy their characters one bit.
However, the movie itself was quite good, with some nice gamer nods and some ridiculously OTT action sequences and I am cautiously optimistic that the sequel will give me a Sully & Drake that I can get on board with.
Due to my current subs, I'll be subbed with Premium for 18 months but if I didn't, I'd be going with Extra until I'd played all the juicy PS5 games, then slipping back to Essential.
I've got a PSTV & PS3 if I feel like I want to play any retro stuff.
Blocking the redemption of prepaid cards without warning is unacceptable - many key sellers are going to refuse refunds, especially marketplace resellers (G2A, Eneba, etc)...
Not adding your subs together was a cheap move... This is just bare faced cheek!

@Shigurui Cheers mate but I future-proofed my purchases about a year ago via CFW and I'm enjoying large, fast, cheap storage (SD2Vita) and emulators as a bonus It's sad that in order to protect your purchases, you have to don an eye patch & a wooden leg but that's the road Sony are forcing people down.
Very weak month.
3 games that are already included, whose remasters have already been included in Plus.
The Crew 2 is so bad, it should have a fiver taped to free copies.
Only Survivng Mars and Frostpunk have any appeal but consoles aren't well suited to RTS / Management games.
Most people who have Now also have Plus - if they want to make Now a success, it should either be distinct from Plus (no duplications) or carry a heavy discount for their most loyal customers who run both subs. I won't be renewing Now when it lapses next year, because of this duplication trend - they need to take a look at what makes Game Pass so good.
The Far East uses O as we use a tick (the X is a cross, the same as us)... not just on the PlayStation. The West have been using it wrong for decades - it's us that should be forced to use the circle! X-D
They're decent games if you only have Plus but I've got PS Now and EA Access so it's a bit of a kick for me (again)... You can't please everyone but perhaps they shouldn't upset their biggest supporters?
The new open-world settings that pre-date Christianity don't fit with the whole Templar / Adam & Eve theme from earlier games. Rebadge it FFS - what's wrong with a historic ARPG without all that pious nonsense? Nobody likes the Abstergo / Animus bits anyway!
Sony have been aware of this problem for ages but have ignored it for far too long - hopefully this article (and others like it) will apply enough pressure on them to actually sort it!
Terrible sale - Almost everything has been cheaper before!
Battlefield V is cheaper right now - the World War Bundle (BFV Deluxe PLUS BF1 Revolution) is £16!
Online multiplayer is fated for every game so it's hardly a travesty that 10+ year old games on a discontinued system meet that time. At least multiplayer was additional on these games and not core to the experience - think of all the games that need an Internet connection simply to bring you up the title screen... That form of DRM should be boycotted from the outset.
@Chaoslink1 You and I don't care about cosmetic items in games but many do... Especially kids. Many parents made their decision to buy, based on the absence of MTs in the game and Activision knew this - they withheld their introduction until after the game was in the hands of millions of kids. That's the bit that's malevolent.
@Kacp1998 The PS3 & Vita offerings have been REALLY weak of late... It'd be nice if they made an effort in the dying months of PS Plus for those platforms but it's as if they've already killed it
God of War and Far Cry 5 please Hellblade would be nice but unlikely... Prey / Dishonored 2 are cheap enough to be included, as is Destiny 2 (given all the potential DLC sales).
... But going on previous form, it'll be 1 game I already have and 1 game I will never play
No matter how powerful the back end becomes, no matter how much bandwidth home broadband can handle, there'll always be the impassable speed of light to account for and without a server on every street, you're always going to have input lag. The pro-streaming prophets always look forward to better broadband to alleviate their compression problems, conveniently forgetting to account for resolution increases in the same time period. Please stop banging the square peg of streaming into the round hole of gaming!
I have a mixed strategy...
I buy physical for 1-player or short appeal games, play them through quickly and then trade them in.
For long-appeal games (and digital-only), I'll buy digital.
The "convenience tax" on the store can be offset with reduced price credit

Buying DRM games AS they shut the store down is crazy, especially at full price!

Re: Rumour: PS Plus December 2019 PS4 Game Potentially Leaked Early
This was initially noted by Copperspock over on Hotukdeals - https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/black-friday-sale-at-playstation-psn-us-god-of-war-769-days-gone-1539-hzd-complete-769-spiderman-goty-1539-uncharted-4-769-more-3337956
I stuck the pic on Reddit to get a feel of how feasible it was and it was noted that GTA V was also showing the PS Plus logo with "free" written.
It's possible there's some nuance with them both being in PS Now or some other error but Photoshop was definitely not involved!
I'm not convinced but I'll definitely be waiting until Wednesday's Plus announcement before I buy God of War.
