@Rob_230 Halo Infinate is pretty good. The campaign was excellent. Just don't buy anything in the MP.

@Jammsbro about the only games I play on bc or the Fallout 3 or Red Dead Redemption but I have the option if I ever wanted to and that is always better than not having it. I'm ready to move forward when Sony has something I want to play on the PS5. The only thing I've played on it since I got it is Miles Morales hopefully Horizon Forbidden West isn't delayed and I'll have something new in February to play. There hasn't been much to come out new that interests me this gen so being able to revisit old classics has been nice. Hopefully Sony will rectify that with something of their own.

@Jammsbro day one first and third party titles. You do not need GamePass to play BC titles, you just need to own the game. I didn't get GamePass until a couple months ago I figured it only had those games no one really cared for but it has alot to offer. I was impressed with it. Outriders and Back 4 Blood are 2 games I would have never bought or played but once they are removed from the service I will have to pick them up.

@JohnKarnes only time will tell when it comes to that issue.

@Uncharted2007 MS can kill the previous generation because of the Series S. It is a low cost entry level console for next gen. My grandkids have one and it is pretty impressive for 300 bucks.

@Jammsbro Xbox has always lead Playstation. Online play and voice chat was an afterthought on Playstation, now Xbox has GamePass which is a great service. Backward Compatibility. When it comes to features Xbox usually leads. PSNow is just a clone of what Xbox wanted to do with the always online that everyone complained about. I enjoy my Playstation but Xbox tends to have the better features.

It is a form of DRM if you can't play or things are not playable unless connected to the net

@NEStalgia Sony is doing the exact same thing that MS did back during the 360 era when they were on top. It didn't work out well for MS and I hope this doesn't work out well for Sony.

@Waffles12415 the Legends MP was originally going to be with the game but they didn't have it finished in time to meet their release date. They didn't give us anything the content was paid for before it came out.

@Nem I know for fact Game Pass made one sale for Sony. The day Outriders came out I was playing it on Game Pass. My son in law drops by and wants to try it out, he plays on PS4 and went out and bought the game. I think Game Pass can generate more game sales. It is a good service for me cause I rarely play a game a 2nd time. I like my PS5 and Sony has a few exclusives I really like and there will always be a few games I'll buy and play on it. But the Series X will be my console for 3rd party titles and Game Pass. It is a very good value. I wish Sony had something like it besides PSNow.

@Waffles12415 once the tool set is created programming for the controller is pretty simple.

@naruball Sony has very deep pockets too. The PS5 upgrade should be free to anyone who bought GOT on the PS4 and has a PS5. I understand paying for the expansion and other extras but not the PS5 upgrade. Sony is taking advantage of its customers.

@JapaneseSonic @Werewius Game Pass has been getting new release 3rd party titles added the day they come out. Outriders was on GamePass day one. Back4Blood is another title going to GamePass day one. Sony is giving us the shaft.

The upgrade to PS5 should be free. I can understand paying for the expansion but not the PS5 upgrade.

@Col_McCafferty I think he meant programming for less consoles would benefit. Only time will tell.

@jdv95 I picked one up in March and have been impressed with it. I'll be using it for most of my 3rd party games this generation.

I'm disappointed that all games don't run at 4k@ 60fps on PS5. I expected more out of this generation.

@Nem tribal societies had or used the things they found in nature as makeup.

The only thing they have coming out that interests me is Horizon Forbidden West.

Sony needs to up their game. My son has the Series X and Far Cry 5 and several other game from last gen run at 60fps and look like totally new games. I wish they would implement something similar on the PS5. Far Cry 5 as an example looks the same on the PS5 as it does on the PS4 Pro but on Series X looks like a new game. Hopefully that changes in the next few months if not sooner.

@Orpheus79V Gears 5 has pretty good combat that surpasses The Last of Us 2 with its gunplay. Not that The Last of Us 2 had bad gunplay.

@Woogy they didn't have Dolby Atmos on the PS4 Pro either. I've been playing on the Series X much more because it supports Dolby Atmos for games. Destiny 2 sounds so much better on Series X. I really wish Sony would add Atmos for gaming on the PS5.

@Th3solution the Series X seems to have been better designed and more thought out. The PS5 seems rushed and the OS feels incomplete.

Even on the PS5 it can take a long time. A game like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Division 2, or Destiny 2 can take 30 minutes or more.

@mcdreamer I told my son the same thing. I'll probably get it this generation if the price is right.

I've been playing Control on the PS5 and have enjoyed it. I never would have bought it but thanks to Plus I can. If they ever have a Control 2 I might make that a day 1 purchase.

The PS5 OS feels like it was an afterthought. The OS feels rushed an inadequate. Hopefully that starts getting fixed before long and they start adding missing features. I much prefer the PS4 OS.

The PS5 needs a movie section like the PS4 had.

Been wanting to play Control since it came out now I get to for the price of my PS Plus subscription on the PS5. Excellent month.

I would rather have a new game. Ghost of Tsushima doesn't need a remaster.

@Octane I think the announce these games to soon. They should wait until they are within 3 or 4 months of being finished. Every game I want to play has been delayed.

I got mine the day after Thanksgiving at Meijer. I waited in a queue for 5 hours before I was able to purchase it. I was surprised when they called me about 6 hours later telling me it was ready to pick up.

@WhiteTrashGuy I had a lot of fun playing that game.

I haven't used any of them. I do like the new interface but I hate the new party system. I've gone from using party chat almost every time I played a game to maybe only 3 times since the change. That is one feature they should have left alone it was fine the way it was now it is way to complicated to start a party.

I put mine on top.

It runs beautifully on the PS5.
