Re: The Next Xbox Is a PC, So What Does That Mean for PS6?

Bingoboyop

I'll be honest no matter what you say about subsidizing but there is no way that ps6 will be cheap. The only way for it to be cheap or around the price that PS5 launched for example is if there is a big price drop in the PS5 pro. Imagine how ridiculous it would look if the ps6 is cheaper than the PS5 pro. The PS6 will never be cheaper than any box lables with a 5.

Re: 'People Are Less Willing to Pay': Dev Speaks Out Against Day One Releases on PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass

Bingoboyop

While a little hypocritical, he is 100% right. The only growth that happens in a subscription model is the one right at the beginning, once you have a big audiance, the only way to grow is to keep having more people subscribe, which inevitably slows down or increase prices, which is what's happening in every subscription service. In a system that demands continuous growth, this model is impossible to sustain. Something will need to give.

Re: Intergalactic PS5 Star 'Bootcamp-ing' with Neil Druckmann to Ignore the Haters

Bingoboyop

@ATaco I meant push square too but my main point was towards sony, nd and Neil. Why talk about this in a public way? When has a dev or publisher talking like this and focusing on the hate they will get rather than the game itself lead to anything positive? The ones throwing the hate get in arms, the rest of the people get in arms against them and sites like this get clicks and nothing ultimately changes. Only the attention gets diverted away from the very thing we are all here for to begin with. The game itself.

Re: Xbox Has 'a Lot More' PS5 Ports to Come in 2025

Bingoboyop

@CrispyMango92 I think it might a Bayonetta like situation, where Microsoft owns the rights to the first game but the ip as a whole is owned by Sony. So Sony can make and release a potential Sunset overdrive 2 on their own but the first one might need approval from Microsoft.

Re: Horizon's MMO Appears to Have Been Cancelled

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare and yet here we are. I don't see them making any money from these projects either now am I. When you heard the news that they have 12 gaas projects in work, do you seriously think that those projects would have no effect on their sp projects because if you did then you were clearly wrong. Having all these projects is not an example of them trying to please everyone and finding a balance either. It's them putting their eggs in one basket and throwing them at the wall and hoping something comes out of it. Who exactly did this please. Hint: no one.

Re: Reaction: Sony's Live Service Push Has Been a Disaster of Utterly Insane Proportions

Bingoboyop

You were the people who kept defending this, saying how this will have no effect on the traditional single player games but I guess it's impossible to predict that 12 live service games being in production will have an effect on single player games right? They had a open opponents goal and still managed to score an own goal instead. Oh but don't worry, they are going to go ahead with the live service vision anyway. Just watch.

Re: Helldivers 2 Dev Arrowhead Takes Blame for Killzone Pricing Blunder

Bingoboyop

Is it just me or is there this sort of weird hate going on towards sony for no reason right now. I miss the more open communication days of PS4 but this is getting ridiculous. Everything they do or don't do seems to get hated. The whole helldivers psn thing, when literally so many others do it without much backlash, freaking Astro winning goty, the intergalactic reveal, etc. where is this coming from?

Re: Massively Promising PS5 Gacha Project Mugen Renamed Ananta

Bingoboyop

@themightyant dunno about all that but "Ananta" quite literally means "without an end". "Ant" or how english speakers call it "Anta" literally means end while the "An" here is simply used to denote lack of what follows it kinda like in "unimportant". So "without an end", "endless" or "infinite". It does annoys me how english speakers add the "a" at the end of words for no reason, it always sounds so silly.

Re: Ubisoft Board Orders Internal Investigation and Review into Company's Financial Woes

Bingoboyop

My biggest problem with Ubi has been their willingness to just leave the defining elements of thier franchises Behind way to easily. Now I am a huge AC fan. I love all the older games. In my opinion those games offered something that nothing else in the industry did. Their biggest issue was Ubi releasing those games way too close to each other thus there not being many changes from entry to entry but taken as a whole the AC franchise was very unique. If you wanted to play something like AC the only real option was AC. Now it's just another RPG. Why would I bother playing a mediocre version of that when there are countless better ones out there? What exactly does the AC franchise offers now that I can't find elsewhere? They still don't seem to have learned their lesson, talking about how they want to go for the broadest appeal possible, well more of the same is gonna happen in that case.
