I am so happy I don't have to waste money on consoles anymore to play the games I'm interested in

This is a win for everyone as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a console player, I neither own any nor am I opposed to console exclusives, but if they didn't release it in PC they'd never get money from me so I feel they've made the right choice

I would love a half life collection of 1 through alyx on ps5. I've been wanting a friend to play them but he's not much of a pc gamer

@Haruki_NLI luckily falcom is as independent as it gets now. We're even getting simultaneous console and pc releases with the new games

@render what would be the point? If people aren't going to buy a console for its exclusives why would they go and dual boot another operating system for it? Also I'm pretty sure Playstation uses a modified freebsd/openbsd OS so it's not like it isn't already available.

What I'd like is the ability to install ps4/5 games from disk. Now that would be amazing

Hell yeah. Been interested in uncharted for a long time after playing the tomb raider reboots but I'm not spending money on a console

I'm working on translating the sword and fairy games at the moment to give something to do between semesters. After that I want to do the earlier xuanyuan sword games. They're really interesting, kind of like a mix of Megami Tensei and Phantasy Star with obvious Chinese mythology thrown in.

I didn't get a ps4 for its exclusives, I'm not getting a ps5 for its exclusives. I don't think exclusives are a good enough reason to get a console. Sony might as well release their games on PC for those of us that just don't care about getting a console

I wonder if there ever was an example in history where a platform has lost value or sequels have lost quality because they previous games have been ported to other systems

Hoping to see 32:9 ultra wide screen support as well. Control, horizon zero dawn and the medium all look fantastic on my crg9

All Sony has to do is add Ultrawide support, improved graphics, and unlocked framerates to the ps5 version and nobody will have anything to complain about :^)

The thing that keeps me from buying consoles and their games (other than the switch) is the poor hardware so I'm happy.

@Exlee300p Falcom is unlikely. They're pretty dedicated to making multiplats and having their titles end up on as many systems as possible

plus the trails and ys games have been super successful on PC and switch now too

Still don't care. Letting other people play games on their preferred systems doesn't devalue anything. And I also want Nintendo to bring their games to PC so I can get rid of my switch. I had more fun playing botw on cemU then on the wii u or switch lmao

@jgrangervikings1 I seriously hope they don't ever acquire Falcom - I love playing all the Trails and Ys games on PC. I don't mind them releasing first on Sony consoles but they have to release on others eventually.
