@Ralancian a What difficulty level are you playing on? I'm playing on hard and find that it forces me to use a combination of quick hacking, stealth, and (hand)gunslinging to be successful, without being so hard it's not fun anymore. Very glad I didn't go with normal difficulty which is my usual move.
@Constable_What Agreed. I think no one should even announce a game until it's already gone gold. That would remove the pressure to release early. Personally, I blame the investors, stock holders, and CFOs in cases like this. They're the ones that demand devs announce games before they have any idea how long development will take.
@Amusei Same here, although I have to admit, I'm still loving my time playing this. I can only imagine how amazing it will be if all of our wishes are addressed. Also desperately needs a transmog system for clothing/armor (or at LEAST be able to design items' appearance when you're the one crafting them). And fix the crafting economy while they're at it.
@Xiaolin No, you get a complete game. You are then offered the option to purchase more content for that game in Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. I mean, MOST of the time those extras aren't anything more than cosmetic items or useless unique weapons. I don't bother with them unless I know for sure I'm going to want extended DLC when it's available. Best bet for me is to but then piecemeal though since even when I'm loving a game while playing it, by the time content DLC is released I've moved on.
Pretty ridiculous that people are complaining about a $10 price increase per game. I mean, the industry has completely ignored inflation for at least a decade. Just be happy you got all those years at $60. Jeez, I remember paying over $100 for Street Fighter 2 Championship Edition for Super Nintendo at Electrons Boutique back in the day. It was only an increase in competition to Nintendo (and changes in media formats) that reigned those prices in.
@Slippship "The Last Ninja on C64, Blue Max on Atari 800xl," Damn, those are some call backs! I rocked both on the C64 though. LOVED Blue Max back in the day.
Great news! Can't stand online multiplayer games. I don't mind online components, but the day they stop making single player games in favor of online multiplayer is the day I quit gaming and fill my time with other hobbies.
Oh, that's funny... My local newspaper has a similar front page article today. 2 pages about how someday there'll be an article printed in the very same spot.
These games are TERRIBLE! How anyone continues to give them money for this garbage is beyond me. Forget about the bugs or graphical fidelity or frame rate... The games themselves are just plain trash as far as controlling your character goes, which in a wrestling game is pretty darn important. 2K19 is the worst game I've played in decades. There needs to be a competitor in this field and WWE needs to shop the rights to other, better developers. Simply awful.
@jdv95 I always find myself wishing they'd use the speaker more. It's cool when walkie-talkie or radio chatter comes through there. Feels more immersive. Certainly not out of place. Horror games have really caught me off guard with it as well. And besides, you can always turn it off, so why remove it? Just because YOU don't like it?
@Nakatomi_Uk You realize that they aren't going to be paying the same price that end consumers do for all of these components, right? They'll be purchasing them by the tens of millions direct from the manufacturer, not one at a time from Best Buy or Newegg. The SSD will be at least 1TB if not 2.
I rarely have the time or inclination to replay a long rpg (or even finish them once, in a lot of cases), but in this case I have the feeling I will. This game is shaping up to be a dream title for me.

@andreoni79 LOL @ "IF devs START publishing broken games..."
That ship sailed a long time ago. This is just an egregious, high-profile example.
Re: Despite Delisting, CDPR Promises Cyberpunk 2077 Players Will Still Receive Patches on PS5, PS4
@Ashton_ar I love the game too, but I'll be first to admit there's a lot more wrong with it than just bugs.

Re: Soapbox: PS5 Pricing Is Setting Releases Like Returnal Up to Fail
@rumple1980 LOL. In the US if you trade in 3 games that were released yesterday at GameStop and you'll get $5.

@Flaming_Kaiser You'd be missing out. CP77 is amazing on PS5. Can't wait until the actual PS5 version is released.

Learn how to use punctuation.
Everything you said is wrong (I think. It's hard to follow without punctuation.).
Don't be dumb.
