Hope the game turns out well for them. I’m actually not a fan of call of duty but if Call of Duty doesn’t at least do average numbers for a COD game, heads are going to roll. Meaning more people will be fired.

That’s a lot of pressure on the creative team leading this entry.

@djlard I’ve had a great time playing with randoms not talking at all. You don’t even have to play with them. But the game pushes you to want to do so

The solution is simple yet pretty costly. If you are a Xbox fan, don’t get the next xbox, get a pc and save money on game keys from platforms like Humble Bundle, GG, and others, as opposed to purchasing from first-party marketplaces, can contribute significantly towards offsetting the initial investment in a higher-priced PC.

If this plays on the steamdeck I’m in. Really fun game and would be great handheld

Just got a steam deck and really thought hard about getting this game until I realized it was 50 bucks. And upon some further thought I decided that the uncharted collection would be way more satisfying on the hand held.

Edit: apparently it runs pretty well in the deck but at 50 bucks it still doesn’t feel like a great value. I’ll wait for a pretty steep sale.

@OrtadragoonX this I agree with. I would love to see more small titles come out of PlayStation studios.

@OrtadragoonX the “minimum requirement” for “most”? Are they not worth the new standard? Why just most? It may be a redundant project for most gamers, but for some, it will be precious.

Sure this is taking away resources from something, but maybe nothing else is past pre-development, and they need something to do. Stay busy work if you will? I’m just guessing here but none of us really know.

@KilloWertz I would agree it should be priced as the original game. Old game is still old. By charging more for the features I’d say they are taking advantage of people who need the accessibility features. But of course they will charge 70.

For anyone upset about this. If the accessibility features allow people who could not previously play to enjoy the game, then it’s worth it. Just think about how happy it will make those gamers instead of thinking about yourselves.

@Milktastrophe thanks. That’s good information and is also horrible! It makes sense for games that are not selling, but as we saw with movies, there can be a lot lost.

It makes logical sense, but I would need some developers to back up this logic with numbers. I’m OK paying for the games and supporting the industry; they need to show us why paying for the games matters (outside of owning them, of course) to the developer's bottom line vs. the subscription model.

I don’t know how game pass makes money (I have game pass for cloud gaming. Play from my phone, It’s alright, but not great for fps imo).

But this just seems like a dumb money making decision. Xbox apparently doesn’t care about selling consoles. They want people to pay a monthly fee. So why cut off a arm of revenue. And a large player base. Use PlayStations money to help fund COD game production idk.

I get exclusives matter. But don’t you want as many people playing COD as possible?

Edit: I know they get money from subscriptions. I don’t know how they make enough to afford this move

I’m really enjoying this game. There is a ton of content and if you suck like I do, years of replay value.

It’s decent. I hope they give every game a $10 discount, effectively removing the $10 PlayStation tax. If they could do that, I’d be happy. Sure it’s not a full ten saved due to paying for the service but I buy a lot of games and it could easily save be 100 a year.

@johncalmc the problem is, the soft locks won’t let you go into a dungeon until you complete the ritual. I need grass. Mind you there is grass all around but I need it from the dungeon. But I can’t get to the dungeon because of the black fog blocking the path.

This game is great but has game breaking bugs. Hoping they update soon

@Cutmastavictory gave it a try. My son really liked it once he got all his friends on there and I see that probably being the biggest appeal. Personally, I cant stop comparing it to Smash, which probably isn’t fair considering how long they have had to get the systems down.

@Gh05tm4ch1n3 I mean you can do some of that with remote play but it’s not nearly as good and has to run from your home console. XCloud, in my opinion, is the star of the show.

@MFTWrecks I guess I’m jaded by all the subpar knock offs. I admittedly haven’t played it because I’m also jaded by most free to play games beyond rocket league.

@Gh05tm4ch1n3 correct, the two games you mentioned are the best games on the service. They in fact are the games I went to play first. Yes, PS+ has guardians of the galaxy, it will have all the yakuza games. Surprisingly I didn’t even see the newest Doom on game pass.

My point isn’t that game pass isn’t good. It’s just not light years better than the media has made it out to be. My expectations were far too high. Side by side, the services are not that different outside of X Cloud.

Got on game pass for the first time, and I gotta say I’m completely unimpressed. The way this has been talked up as if it is full of the best of the best and honestly it’s not that different than what PS offers. I would say that PS has far better exclusives.

Note: Cloud gaming on my phone is THE best feature game pass has going for it. Day one exclusives don’t matter when you have so few of them.

The entitlement displayed by some is incredible.

I think people don’t understand how business works. Companies will sell you the same stuff over and over if you let them. Just don’t buy it if you care so much.

This seems like a odd thing. Steam demos seem to help developers sell more. If your game sucks and you think a 2 hour demo will hurt your sales, make a better game

Honestly I think this is a big hook. If I play for 2 hours and want to continue I will buy the game.

@Tasuki chat code for Elden ring, summon a friend who has multiple builds, one at a lower level. Have them drop you a few weapons, then take you to a farm site. Turn on a podcast and farm levels until you are about 50. Now you are overpowered and have an advantage.

It felt like cheating but I would have never gotten off the ground without the help.

Think I’m going to dive back into HFW….probably play WWE2k22 with my son.

This is a weird idea for a game. I can’t wait to hear what kind of numbers it does.

I love PSNow. I have found one of my favorite games on there, “Moving Out.” If this service can give us more of that, I’m in.

I’m 36 with a ten-year-old son who loves playing old games. He says he is doing “research” hey, I will take it; but anyway, this is a great way to give him access to more and for us to bond over games I loved as a kid his age.

@Kidfunkadelic83 agreed, I am really enjoying the game and racing against my friends. The cycle of tuning your car to beat a friend, only yo find they found a better way to tune it is a lot of fun.

I have not felt the need to but credits but I have been farming some of the races.

Looks interesting, I will be very interested in how this plays in the end. Expectations are going to be so high.

Really want the ability to sell the cars I’m winning and don’t want lol
