It’s been over two years since Batman: Arkham Knight, and while British developer Rocksteady has filled the time with Batman: Arkham VR, many are wondering what the studio’s next move will be. There have been various rumours spanning everything from a Superman title to a standalone Harley Quinn adventure, but nothing’s really stuck.
Well, marketing manager Gaz Deaves is understandably giving nothing away – but he has suggested that whatever the London firm’s cooking will be worth the wait. “Be patient, fans,” he teased. “I know we're not talking right now, but when we do, people are going to lose their minds. Can't wait.” So what do you think the dev’s cooking? Share some suggestions below.

Maybe he's right, but I won't believe it until I lose my mind for myself.
New Batman game in which you play as a sentient Batmobile.
Wonder Woman?
a new superman game
a flash game
An Arrowverse game (probably not going to happen)
@3Above That's a good shout.
Whatever it is, hopefully not Batman. The Dark Knight needs a rest.
I'd love to see them tackle Superman, though I imagine it's something bigger than that. Justice League is my best guess, though it could potentially be a non-superhero property.
They will lose their minds over facial animations or microtransactions.
Gonna go with wild guesses and say Power Rangers or Ninja Turtles
I think PC users already lost their minds over the last couple of games...
I'd love a Warriors game from these chaps.
Better NOT be Wonder Woman!
@Dichotomy Yeah. To say I've lost a large amount of good will towards Rocksteady and WB is an understatement. I straight up don't trust them to produce a competant PC port.
@RedMageLanakyn WB yes but Rocksteady had nothing to do with the PC port. WB hired Iron Galaxy (known for porting fighting games) to do that.
Alfred?
@CodeSe7en why not a Wonder Woman game from them could be amazing
Dick and Damian game?
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED
Nightwing and the whole Robin/Dick Grayson background? Batman as the sidekick/cameo?
Swamp Thing please
@adf86 Rocksteady did however port Arkham City to PC, which was delayed a month so they could add "detailed textures and improvements" via DirectX 11. In reality, what we got was an extremely broken DX11 version that wasn't fixed for nearly a year, with Rocksteady basically shrugging their shoulders at the whole situation, knowing they made their money back on the console versions. WB launched Arkham Knight knowing full well that Iron Galaxy wasn't equipped to handle what Rocksteady had handed them for the PC port, because they were too focused on - you guessed it - making sure the console versions were solid, so they could make money. So yes, I consider them both equally incompetent.
Can't wait for their next game, really enjoyed Arkham games on Playstation, even Arkham Knight was great, imo. I just missed bosses battles, that would be cool.
Maybe an announcement on the next PSX?
Would love a lore heavy Green Lantern game.
Harry Potter 😏
@ES2X1 I really would lose my mind if they made a TMNT game. Dark and gritty. It would do well in the style of the Arkham games.
A good superman game?
@ArkhamKnerd Platinum can make a good tmnt game, if they have proper budget
@ArkhamKnerd Yep - I've honestly always wanted a dark-toned TMNT, much like the original comics. While some of the re-iterations of TMNT have made it darker, it wasn't as dark and gritty as Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman's comics.
@ES2X1 IIRC Activision currently holds the video game rights for TMNT.
Game of Thrones?
I'm with the TMNT vote. That would be an amazing fit.
I'm hoping for another DC related game, TMNT, Power Rangers etc.
Something that has to do with superheroes.
No one ever made a good Superman game, but if there's a developer that can do it, it's them. So I think it's Superman. Although I had a prediction that a Wonder Woman game would be a candidate too especially after the critical and commercial success of the movie.
I didn't like their games, id like a spawn effort
A game without microtransactions.
@CodeSe7en I hope its Wonderwoman or Batgirl we dont have a good female superhero game. To be fair dont care as long as it is a good game.
@Splat
tips hat
Hired by Konami to do a Metal Gear?
Neal Adams /Jack Kirby or John Buscema graphics style with Man-Bat would work for me.
..I reckon it'll be a Batarang simulator, in the style of Windjammers...
Sounds promising, but I’ll have to find my mind first....now where did I put it?🙃
@ArkhamKnerd @ArkhamKnerd @ES2X1 Only TMNT isn't really a WB franchise; so chances of that are slim. Harry Potter could be possible, being WB property.
I'd reckon they're picking another superhero or even a Justice League game or something, but to be honest that wouldn't "blow my mind" or anything. So I'm going to pick... Game of Thrones.
@JoeBlogs That's very good.
Just so everyone knows dc does not own tmnt. They'd have to go through IDW to get the rights for that. Same with power rangers
well IF it's a DC property then Green Lantern would be my choice (maybe even have Arkham Batman show up in a cameo)
but personally i would like them to do something new, a brand new IP
Superman from Rocksteady would defo be cool...
@DerMeister they already said they're done making Batman games.
Gimme a M.A.S.K. game with the quality of Asylum and City and the openness of Knight, and I will lose more than just my mind.
Probably a BattleTanx reboot.
If it's to do with DC I'd love a Wonder Woman game, but if it's an original IP I won't complain, just no more Batmobiles please.
A game where we play as joker?
Hopefully it's a Wonder Woman game. Her fighting style lends itself very well to video games. I know some people would want a good Superman game but I don't care who the developer is, I just don't think it's possible for that to happen.
@Radbot42 Actually Nickelodeon owns the rights to TMNT and I think they made a deal with Activision to make the TMNT games.
@Tasuki Just did some quick research and yeah you are right. I was hoping that IDW had let Nickelodeon use TMNT. I actually like the current show, but someone else needs to be in charge of how the movies and video games are done. Nick tends to just be a quick cash grab. The last TMNT game was utter crap, and they knew that the diehard fans would buy it so they didn't put that much effort into it. Same with the movies. I personally think the rights would be in better hands with IDW as the writers are phenomenal there. After TMNT ends with it's fifth season Nick is basically crap again. I wonder what a TMNT movie would look like with the current writers of the comics...
@Jwade754 Then after saying that, they did Arkham VR. I bet they return to Batman eventually even if this next game does not focus on him.
