@Mikey856 not 100% sure off the top of my head. Our 2 have been without stands for well over a year at this point and I haven't noticed anything abnormal heatwise, not home at the moment to check.

Tbh the normal PS5s don't really need a stand either. They're plenty stable vertically without it. I assume this will be the same

Game is superb! Would definitely recommend muting the dialogue from the jump. Trust me you won't be missing much lol. Great review!

It was fine I guess. Helldivers looks great, SM2 obviously looks amazing but really don't need to see more, though the controllers look neat we already have 10 of em , everything else wasn't for me. Maybe a 6/10.

@MinotauroBJJ I feel exactly the same way. Backbone was ok at first but the tradeoffs make it annoying to use at times. Excited for the Portal as well!

Love the look of them. The red isn't as vibrant as I was expecting but still a great design. Sold the plates to a buddy of mine who couldn't get a pair but definitely happy to have a fresh console as our launch one was making some unsettling noises as of late.

No, not at all. Have watched a few hours of streams and can say for sure it's definitely not my type of game. I'm glad so many are enjoying it though!

@KillerBoy Dirt 5 had up to 4 player split screen and they made a big deal out of it so there's a good chance it will!

Cautiously optimistic about this one. Codemasters has earned my trust over the years with the Dirt series but we all know EA has a way of mucking things up. With the Crew Motorfest and Forza coming in the next months going to be hard for them to get some traction but I hope its a great experience. And as others said VR is a much needed feature!

Pretty stout increase. Still worth it imo but the backlash is going to be deafening for sure.

This game is really outside of my wheel house but I'm loving it. Definitely benefited from having a demo. Hopefully can make some decent progress in it over the next few weeks

@ThaBEN in response to your edit, a 2nd monitor/desk setup wouldn't work. The room is oddly shaped and doing so would require an overhaul and rearranging, and be much more expensive than a couple hundred bucks lol

@REALAIS Have 2 teenagers. In our gaming room we have a 65" TV and a monitor, 2 PS5s and a Series S. When we all want to play something like Destiny, Borderlands, Fall Guys etc together we need a third screen. We get by using laptop, tablet, or one of our phones at the moment but this would be another solution. I know thats a seemingly niche situation that most folks wouldn't have

Much cheaper than I was expecting from Sony. As someone who uses remote play pretty regularly at home it's at a price point that I'll be willing to give it a shot. The lack of bluetooth is a shame though

One of the greatest comeback stories in a long time. Happy this one turned things around even though its not necessarily my jam.

@Dusk_Actual appreciate the response, I obviously can only comment on my experience which is perhaps very unique in the overall player base.

We still play Gambit occasionally and it's still a great time for us even without huge changes or additions. As far as the eververse goes, it's all cosmetic stuff. I honestly don't have any interest at all in cosmetics so that's something that I'm admittedly completely aloof of and it doesn't bother me in the slightest that it's there. In terms of the cost of the game/expansions that's really not a issue for us (not because we're rich lol) . Lightfall was $50 and I bought on both PS & Xbox, we have gotten more than 100 hours out of that $100 expenditure so for us its not really a pain point in terms of what we've gotten out of it vs $50+ for a 2ish hour movie for example.

I tend to block out a lot of the moaning about games recently because it becomes so overwhelmingly negative so perhaps I was wrong, my wording could've been better for sure. Hope you enjoy Witch Queen and whatever comes next!

Game is still awesome, my kids and I play a few times every week and we have fun. Problem is seems some peoples whole existence is tied into what happens in the game, specifically pvp, and they are the loudest ones. Look forward to seeing how they wrap things up

Hopes/expectations: Tekken 8 release date, PS5 "slim" info, 4 or 5 souls-like games, new Spiderman trailer, nothing to shocking or surprising. Hard to get too excited about these anymore since there are so many throughout the year but I will most likely watch it in the background while working.

Wasn't blown away by the last beta but this is a definite purchase. Spent a few hundred hours with each of the first games so I'm sure i'll get some enjoyment from this one. Look forward to diving in on Friday!

I remember renting this from Blockbuster as a kid but never getting the chance to finish it but always wanted to play again. Looking forward to bringing back some nostalgia

@Acurisur NFS underground 1/2 would probably be a better game to have that crown.

Looks OK, nothing screams must play and they definitely could've picked some better drivers for the first gameplay reveal. Hopefully things come together by release
