Re: Hands On: The Best Indie Games at EGX 2018

I like In Space too! I'm watching Power Rangers on Netflix.

I think what got me back in to Power Rangers was ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a Power Ranger. So that's what I'm gonna be for Halloween. And no, not some cheap costume from the store. I mean show accurate costume. So I got one. Then there was this thing I saw on YouTube about how to cosplay and what to wear underneath the costume so your Power Crystals won't show. I'm like, man, maybe being show accurate was a bad idea. But I can't back down now since I have the costume.

The most expensive part of the costume was the helmet which was custom made and the blade blaster since it's discontinued. But once I got everything together, I fulfilled my childhood dream. Felt amazing! But for some reason I felt like there was one thing missing. I'm the ONLY Power Ranger in my neighborhood. I need to find more Rangers to team up with.

Then I heard about conventions! The last day of E3 2018 I wore my costume (didn't have helmet at the time). My feet hurt in those boots during the day so I bought some gel soles for next time.

Power Morphicon 2018 was the full blown convention that I went to. Had a lot of fun and met other cosplayers. And actors. I mean I got to take a picture with Austin St John at the Power Rangers Command Center! Other actors include Walter Emmanuel Jones, RJ Cyler who also signed my helmet, and Keith Robinson. Oh and Carla Perez who voiced Rita Repulsa. I couldn't meet Jason David Frank cause the line was too long and David Yost wasn't there.

The other con I went to was SacAnime 2018 in late August early September. This had a larger variety of cosplayers. I also went to a Q&A panel featuring Christopher Judge.

Man, all this cause I wanted to dress as a Power Ranger. Didn't think it would escalate into something this big!
