Re: Evidence of Batman: Arkham PS4 Remaster Appears

mitcHELLspawn

@BAMozzy I don't really know why this turned into you droning on about money. For a lot or people money isn't a factor. And I didn't say the pc has better graphics than a ps4 and is cheaper, did I? I just stated the graphics are MUCH better on pc when you have a 4k gaming pc like me. I'm not taking away anything from ps4 as I said before it's a great console and I love it. I was just pointing out you downplaying the difference in graphics, and you still are. You may have a 4k tv, but I don't see how that makes you understand what 4k gaming looks like....

Anyway as I said it actually is a HUGE difference in graphical fidelity. With ultra graphics settings at 1080p alone it's still a pretty big difference. Anyone who plays both and can sit them side by side will tell you just how big of a difference there is. A lot of people say it's not because all they've seen is crappy compressed youtube comparison videos..
But yeah so like I said even 1080p is huge diff, but then add 4k to that, as well as 60 fps gaming then yeah its a huge jump up.

Now for someone who doesn't have much money those differences aren't as big of a deal. They can get the ps4 and be perfectly happy. And that's cool too. I just think it's silly for people to try to downplay the differences saying there isn't much of a difference between pc and console because they don't want to admit it to themselves... it's not a big deal. If you enjoy it on ps4 with low settings and 22-30 fps then that's great for you, it shouldn't matter if pcs are better or not to you.

Re: Evidence of Batman: Arkham PS4 Remaster Appears

mitcHELLspawn

Oh man I would absolutely jump all over this ! As long as it was a proper remaster. Like for example what was done with metro 2033. I would love to replay these games especially asylum with upgraded textures and graphics as well as 60 fps. Pleaseeeee let this be real! Would have been much cooler if they released it before arkham knight tho :/

Re: Evidence of Batman: Arkham PS4 Remaster Appears

mitcHELLspawn

@BAMozzy totally agree with everything you said, except the part about pcs only having slightly better graphics. It's definitely not true, even less so now with all new pc games supporting 4k. I game in 4k and trust me, the difference is sometimes staggering. But graphics aren't everything and the ps4 is awesome. For me, it's only used for exclusive games because I buy my multiplatform games on pc for the visuals and framerate... but man... bloodborne alone was worth the price of admission for me.

Re: So, Looks Like Sony's Already Working on the PS5

mitcHELLspawn

High...specifications ? Lol if you say so. Don't get me wrong the ps4 is awesome but I wouldn't classify the hardware as high spec lol... when you almost always have to either pick 1080p or 60 fps, that's a problem.

In my opinion an amazing way to go for console gaming would be a console with seperate tiers. High spec medium and low would be really cool to see. Bring some customization to console gaming. It hasn't been done before and I think it would take off like crazy.

Re: Soapbox: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Physical Package Puts All Other Games to Shame

mitcHELLspawn

Totally agree with this! I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the case this morning.

First of all, that simple little thank you note just totally pushed it over the edge for me. Cd projekt red are and we're my favorite developers and things like this is the reason why. They always go that extra mile and I love them for it. Couldn't believe it came with the soundtrack and the stickers were a great little addition.

I recently had a custom decal made of the white wolf pendant for the side panel of my pc case with the red glowing eyes, and what I did was before putting it on I drilled holes in the case where the eyes are and attached red LED lights on the inside and then placed the decal on, now I have the witcher medallion with glowing red eyes to match the rest of my red themed case, so I might try to find a spot on the front of my case for one of these stickers.

Re: Review: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PlayStation 4)

mitcHELLspawn

Such an incredible game. Truly an achievement in open world rpgs. Not to mention that geralt is most definitely the single most badass fantasy character ever made.

On another note, has anyone ever read the vlad taltos books? I think that character and universe could make for a pretty incredible rpg if done right as well.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Enjoying The Witcher 3 on PS4 as Much as We Are?

mitcHELLspawn

I would like to explain just how much of a hardcore witcher fan I am lol.... so first off I own a ps4 and Xbox one, but I have this game preloaded at home on my pc. Bought it long ago...

So yeah right now I'm currently away from home working a shutdown at a power plant working 12 hour night shifts. I won't be home until next week and I thought I'd he able to tough it out and wait until I got home to play it.... haha but I was just way too excited so I got off work at 7am this morning and went straight to walmart, bought a second ps4 and the witcher just so I could play it while I'm up here even though I have absolutely no need for another ps4 lol... ended up staying up half the day playing it omg it's so amazing. I've been in love with the witcher series for a long time. The books and games are incredible and I've read/played them all. Had to read fan made translations for the last few but am still super hyped to read on listen to the official book/audiobooks.

For anyone interested the first 4 books are on audiobook and the narrator is absolutely incredible. He brings the books to life like nothing I've ever seen with distinct great voices for all characters even female....

So yeah.. hopefully I can sell this extra console when I get back home though lol. :/ I can't get over how much they improved the combat over witcher 2. It really has a distinct dark souls vibe to it only sped up by about X2. I freaking LOVE it.

Re: Feature: Do You Need to Play the First Two Games to Understand The Witcher 3 on PS4?

mitcHELLspawn

@mateq I felt the same way the first few hours but the game actually opens up to be really good. I definitely feel wild hunt will be much more enjoyable after completing the previous games.. the witcher universe is so massive and fleshed out that it's going to be awesome to finally be able to travel the northern kingdoms in the game after reading the books and playing the games. If you can't get into the first 2 games I'd suggest at least reading the books or even better imo is listen to the audiobooks.. the guy that narrates them is absolutely incredible. It's more like listening to a movie than listening to someone read a book. He has different and frankly awesome voices for all the different characters, he definitely brings the witcher to life with his words. It's great. The first 4 are on audiobook

Re: First Impressions: The Witcher 3 May Be One of the Best Games on PS4

mitcHELLspawn

Reading this article made me realize I don't think it's even possible for me to be any more hyped about this game than I already am lol... over the last several months I finished the witcher and the witcher 2, as well as reading the first 5 books... and even after all that I still can't get enough of the witcher universe. Geralt is an absolute badass and the witcher universe is one of a kind and so awesome.... I can't believe I won't be able to play this until about 10 days after it comes out I'm out of town at work and it's going to be torture.

Re: Weirdness: Russia's New Tank Is Controlled with a DualShock

mitcHELLspawn

That....is....so....f******......awesome. I wonder how much it'd run ya to buy one hahahaha. Such a good idea though. I have quite a few friends in the military and literally everyone of them are gamers. It's all they have to do for fun when deployed or on the ship. It'd be so easy to teach a gamer how to drive that thing.

Re: Feature: How Does The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Look and Run on PS4?

mitcHELLspawn

@get2sammyb yuck lol. Honestly man I used to feel the same way, until I had the chance to replay some of my favorite games in 60 fps after playing them on console. The difference is night and day to me. And the worst problem with 30 fps to me is that any dips whatsoever are absolutely atrocious and directly affect the gameplay. Even if it dips to 25 - 23 during combat with a few enemies on screen that affects the game terribly. The witcher 3 is extremely fast paced combat which makes it perfectly suited for 60 fps. Everything else in the game would work fine with 30 I suppose, as long as there were no dips, but there are :/

Re: Feature: How Does The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Look and Run on PS4?

mitcHELLspawn

@Crimson_Ridley you really should tag who you're talking to instead of just saying things. I really hope it wasn't to me because I was just replying to someone else's comment on the subject.. and besides, it's a comment section of an article about framerate etc of course comparisons to other platforms are going to come up. Sounds to me like you're just sour if anyone mentions ps4 might not be the best everything.

Re: Feature: How Does The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Look and Run on PS4?

mitcHELLspawn

I don't know about you guys, but if I was to play this on console, ps4 or xbox, I would have much rather if developers made the game run in 720p upscaled to 1080p and give us a silky smooth 60 fps. I dont understand where along the lines devs decided the framerate was the acceptable thing to compromise on.. that is essentially saying that visuals is more important than gameplay. It's just disappointing to me. :/ thankfully I have the great fortune of being able to play games on console or pc,but for people who only own a console it sucks they don't get that choice.

Re: Wow, 35 Minutes of Witcher 3 PS4 Footage Takes Us from One Side of the Map to the Other

mitcHELLspawn

@BAMozzy yeah actually I initially had a 40 inch 4k LG tv hooked upto it, but I sold it. The picture was the beautiful but I noticed the lag. Not only that I really wanted a Gsync monitor it really makes a huge difference when your monitor can adapt it's refresh rate according to what your gpu is outputting. My tv i use for console gaming is 75 inch samsung smart tv lol so I don't mind using the monitor for pc gaming and if I really wanna game on a larger screen I just hook it up to it.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 65

mitcHELLspawn

I picked up arkham origins on pc this week for like 8 dollars, an I never did end up finishing it on console so I've been playing that. I can't believe just how amazing this game looks in 4k with all the settings maxed. It REALLY gets me excited for arkham knight !

Also I'll be making the final push to beat dark souls ready to die edition on pc as well. I finished the dlc this week and only have 2 more bosses to go to finish the game. I really got into this game after beating bloodborne a few weeks ago. I still can't get over how good that game was.. I hope they have some awesome and long DLC planned for it!

Re: Rumour: Mass Effect PS4 Sounds Massive, Ambitious, and Awesome

mitcHELLspawn

Honestly everything in that sounds awesome and believable except one. If we've learned anything from this generation of consoles and games, it's that loading screens aren't going anywhere lol..

"you'll be able to transition from the expanses of space to the surface of a planet without seeing a single loading screen."

Yeah I've gotta call bs on that one... but if I've also learned one other thing, it's that if the game is good enough, loading screens don't matter one bit! Looking at you bloodborne. The loading screens are horrendous, but I didn't mind them at all because I was so in love with the game I felt it was worth it to wait those times to be able to load up such an amazing world.

Re: Feel the Hype: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Is Finished and Ready to Launch

mitcHELLspawn

@Superstick yupp I agree. Pc is the way to go for cd projekt red games for sure. I'm so excited to play this on my 4k Gsync montior ! I really hope my SLI 980s will be able to pump this game out in 4k @ 60fps. I'm thinking as long as the game is optimized well I'll be able to. I just bought gta 5 on pc and I have every setting cranked to the max and I'm getting 60 - 51 fps steady... and with gsync it feels like a constant 60 fps which is so nice. Man it looks beautiful.

Re: Soapbox: Why You Shouldn't Be Afraid to Play Bloodborne on PS4

mitcHELLspawn

I beat this game last week and found it to be a freaking masterpiece. Amazing. I was pretty far into dark souls on pc when this released. I was after trying the souls games on multiple occasions and i just could never get into. I was so used to games where you're never locked into animations and I really sucked at dark souls. Then I picked it back up one day, determined to learn it and something just clicked and I finally understood the gameplay.. from there I was hooked. So anyway when bloodborne came out I decided I wanted to take that on and my new skills from dark souls served me well. I absolutely destroyed this game. I died probably around 20 or 30 times but I hunted down each and every boss and loved it.. so now I'm back into dark souls and I am so glad I still have the rest of this game, then scholar of the first sin and finally demons souls to play I am so hooked.....

Also... man I hope bloodborne gets a ton of extra dlc.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Easter Edition 3

mitcHELLspawn

On xbox one me and 2 of my good friends have been making our way through borderlands the pre sequel together and I've gotta say it's pretty fun.

On ps4 I'm going to be finally finishing off bloodborne. I've been putting it off and every time I play I've just been wandering trying to find new secrets and stuff because it's such an amazing game I don't want the experience to end. But I actually plan on playing it again on ng+ because on this run I've done the entire thing in single player. I wanted to be able to say that I took out all the bosses by myself. So I think it'd be fun to jump back in and play some coop. I'm also looking forward to some chalice dungeons.

And finally on pc I'll be playing some more dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin in 4k I've been using a 40 inch 4k tv on my pc the last few months but I just ordered a new 28 inch 4k 1ms monitor with gsync that I am SUPER excited about.. so I don't plan on getting to far in many other games on pc til that comes in

Re: Do You Want to Make Bloodborne Really Easy?

mitcHELLspawn

Yeah this makes me sick. Lol.. well not really but man it sucks. If someone wants to cheat then whatever that's on them it'll give them the chance to platinum the game under false pretenses and impress their little buddies.... BUT the fact that this is an online game just totally ruins it. I don't want some level 300 dude invading my game. It's just rotten to the core... especially because I love this game SO much, and I don't want some other idiot to be able to ruin it on me.

Re: Guide: How to Farm 1,000 Blood Echoes in Two Minutes in Bloodborne on PS4

mitcHELLspawn

That's a terrible idea. Every 2 minutes you'd have to sit at about a minute and a half loading screens. One each way.. much better to just do the first loop over and over. Go from the first lamp after the room you originally wake up in, the one at the top of the large ladder, and go all the way around until you come back to it from the other side. You'll end up with around 6000 if you kill them all. And after you've been through the area a few times and know where all the enemies are you can do it in about 6-8 minutes. Much less tedious that way imo !

Re: Guide: How to Beat the Blood-Starved Beast in Bloodborne on PS4

mitcHELLspawn

@Cloud7794 did you kill that guy on top of the tower with the machine gun before killing this boss? I only had one shot at him but he messed me up good with that blunderbuss. I haven't had time to play again since that happened but I'm hoping to get my blood echoes back by killing the bugger this time lol any tactics for him?

Re: Turn Your PS4 Trophy Hunting into a Scrapbook of Screens

mitcHELLspawn

It would be cool if you could set it to only snap silver or gold trophies. Or even just platinum.

Every time I kill a boss in bloodborne I make a video to commemorate it lol.. totally killed the first 2 bosses in the game on the first shot too! Kinda proud of that accomplishment I've gotta say lol

Re: Uh Oh, Watch PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Take Over 40 Seconds to Reload After Player Death

mitcHELLspawn

@Tasuki I sincerely hope you're not talking about me. I didn't insult him just laughed at the fact that he was so pathetic.

Lol you talk as if you're on some sort of power trip. Grow up youre a moderator on a comment section. I didn't do a damn thing wrong and I reported his comments. I defended myself without breaking any TOS.

And if you're not talking about me then I apologize but it sure seems as if it's the case.

Re: Uh Oh, Watch PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne Take Over 40 Seconds to Reload After Player Death

mitcHELLspawn

@dolless honestly if the game has you dying as much as dark souls I definitely understand it could be a pretty bad problem. I can't picture me having much patience for a 40 second load time that often.

Definitely still buying it to find out if I can tolerate it.. because I mean if the game is good enough then that won't stop me from playing through but if the game is just decent then yeah it could definitely be a deal beaker.. for me at least.

Re: The ESRB Unmasks Batman: Arkham Knight's Mature Rating

mitcHELLspawn

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi pretty sure it's just an easier way for a parent to shop for a child seeing how a lot of times they have no idea about the games that are out. Well less so these days than when I was growing up because more and more parents have grown up with games.. but still. It's just a simplified way for someone to shop for a game. Just look at the rating and it's a yes or no.

Re: The Witcher 3's Newest Gameplay Walkthrough Is Superb

mitcHELLspawn

They actually released about 3 minutes of new gameplay just a few days ago as well... it was featured during the nvidia confrence at GDC.

But yeah.. man this game looks so incredible. I just played the first one on pc, and jumped straight into the second one, importing my save. I'm about 10 hours into the second one right now... man by far my favorite rpgs. The story is so mature and geralt is such a badass !
