You won't be getting any more The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt delays, because developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the game's finished and ready for its 19th May launch date in North America, and its 22nd May release in Europe.
Now, we don't often like to dabble in the ways of hype peddling, but Geralt's latest adventure looks so good that we can hardly help ourselves. With only just over a month until launch, it's got to the point where we're sitting daydreaming about our monster-slaying journey, and we're sure that it's the same for you lot, too.
Are you starting to get super excited for this open world role-playing game, or are you weary of the Witcher and his silver locks? Equip your pants of hype + 10 in the comments section below.

I have a pre order but, give it to me now! Please. This game will be amazing, I have a small worry there could be some funky glitches though, it didn't run a beta or did it?
I miss "gone gold" announcements. Of course nowawdsys w/ all the day 1 or later downloads and patches "gone gold" should probably be renamed "gone silver", or in Assasins Creeds case maybe "gone bronze" would be generous.
But I still miss "gone gold" articles popping up on a regular basis.
I told myself I wasn't going to pre-order out of fear of it being a glitchy mess day one but it just looks to amazing to wait...
Oh man, I have a week booked off work at the start of June, but I already have Dragon Age which I'm hardly anywhere in, and also want to get up to date in FFXIV before the Heavensward release! Might just pick up Bloodborne and smash it out in a week. That or I'll use the time to catch up on things like LoTR:SoM, Wolfenstein, Alien etc. Either way, sadly, I don't see the Witcher getting my time any time soon
@ShogunRok Do I need to play the other two games first, or can I understand what's going on if I just dive straight into 3?
@ToddlerNaruto It'll have references and bits and pieces that relate to the first two games, but it has an individual, standalone storyline. By and large, you'll be able to play this and enjoy it without playing the other two.
I actually think I'm going to change my mind about getting this for PS4. I'll get it on PC. This is one of those games I really want to see the amazing graphics on.
@ToddlerNaruto - There are some recap videos on YouTube that you can check out. That is what I did.
can't wait for this one to launch
@ShogunRok Thanks for the fast reply, good to know.
@Splat I might watch those recap vids if I have time to spare, thnx for heads up.
@Superstick yupp I agree. Pc is the way to go for cd projekt red games for sure. I'm so excited to play this on my 4k Gsync montior ! I really hope my SLI 980s will be able to pump this game out in 4k @ 60fps. I'm thinking as long as the game is optimized well I'll be able to. I just bought gta 5 on pc and I have every setting cranked to the max and I'm getting 60 - 51 fps steady... and with gsync it feels like a constant 60 fps which is so nice. Man it looks beautiful.
This will be my first pre-order since DA Inquisition. Oh yeah.
